Of the 180+ movies I've watched so far this year, my five favourites are Insidious, The Secret of Kells, The Dark Knight Rises, Midnight in Paris and The Artist.

Ip Man Super 8 Hugo The Avengers Cast Away North by Northwest Frost/Nixon
avengers hands down, nothing even comes close for movies made in 2012, would have to put spider-man 2nd and expendables 2 3rd as for movies not made this year I have a hard time remembering :P
