1. Continue the vicious attacks for a few weeks:They need to do it randomly on all shows against any superstar like tonight where they took out both Punk and Cena. This will prove to show that they will do whatever it takes to be the next generation of WWE superstars and that they are an actual force that needs to be reckoned with.

2. Keep it real: The attacks tonight had a feel of realism to them. The same way that the nWo segments in WCW had a feeling of realism to them when they first started. The feeling of realism will get the "WWE Universe" more invested in the storyline, like the PSA Woman "The_Dude14" from RAW.

3. Stay together as a group for a while: The group needs to stay together as a group for a few months to truly be successful. They need to stay united in their cause of becoming the future of the WWE and proving they are just as good as any WWE Superstar. The second they start to have doubts about their cause it will break the realism and feel that was felt on RAW.

4. Once the NXT Wrestlers are put in matches make them competitive: The NXT rookies need to have long and legitimate matches with WWE Superstars.Think of what a 30 minute match between Danielson and Punk would do to legitimate the wrestling abilities of the NXT.Merely having the NXT rookies win by cheating will weaken their movement and cause the audience to lose interest quickly.

5. Make it a long term storyline:Please WWE, please keep this storyline going for more than a month. If you do it right, you can keep it captivating to the "WWE Universe" while providing us with a new and captivating storyline, one that we have not had in a long time.Making it a short one off storyline will lead this to being a forgotten storyline and a missed opportunity to help revive interest in the WWE.

So, what does everyone else think the WWE needs to do to make this storyline successful?

no one gets a 30 minute match except for PPV main events so i dont see that happening... i think having it happen several times continuously will take away the effect, real-looking or not...this is a great start to something that i truly feel will be ruined by WWE writing

I am not saying that they need to do the exact same thing.  But just to bust into and break up matches and demand that the WWE accept that they are the future of the company.  Beating down their WWE Pros, breaking up title matches.  Just random stuff to get recognized.  That is pretty much what the nWo did back in the day and it work amazinly for them.

And yes, WWE only lets John Cena and Sean Michaels go 30 minutes on RAW when the match is half commericials.  I more just meant let them have more than a 3 minute match like pretty much every match on NXT.

Edit: It appears the last 30 minute non 60 minute iron man PPV match was the barely 30+ minute match of HBK vs Undertaker at WM XXV....this match was match of the year.  Why can't WWE see we watn some long good matches?

Few weeks of attacks would ruin it.

They can take out NXT and Smackdown this week, but after that it would ruin it.

#6 Triple H must not return and bury all 8 at once.

We might have some problems with that one.

lol, with WWE writing they'll come on next week and be like.

JUST KIDDING, WAS JOKE ON EVERYONE! YAY A-TEAM MOVIE!

but yea, I hope this really works. I mean, not all of the rookies should be kept around (cause some of them seriously don't deserve it) but there are a few I'd love to see stay around.

Danielson needs to open the show tonight by challenging Kaval and then offering him a spot in their group since Kaval isn't a rookie and has actually been wrestling longer than Danielson.

So, I take it you do not see Kaval as a "slave name"?

Its better than being named after a lyric from a Blackstreet song.

I like those ideas, particularly the "be competitive" one. Although, I do agree that the "rinse repeat" thing WWE usually does with anything that has any success wouldn't be the best thing.

I'm honestly not sure what WWE needs to do with GeNXT. Last night was a stroke of brilliance, but I've been trained over the years to know that the ball is already slipping from WWE's fingers. Long-term, I just can't see WWE making this work.

If it was me, I think there has to be some kind of follow-up tonight. However, I'd let this sink in before I bring back GenNXT in full force. Currently, Wade Barrett, as the winner of NXT, is the only guy with any "business" in WWE and is the only guy that should be shown in an "official" capacity. He's also the one with the hardest part to explain, since he was the winner of NXT. The other guys should show up two or three at a time in different capacities, occasionally disrupting a show with a sneak attack or something, but hold off on NXT showing up in full force. Maybe one night, Daniel Bryan "buys" the tickets right behind the Raw announce table to heckle, untl Cole has him thrown out. Have the NXT guys pull sneak attacks from various costumes, pozing as ring crew and camera men. Try and create the tension that you never know when or where GenNXT will strike NXT. Have a face like Cena or one that was directly involved with NXT like Christian openly challenge GenNXT only for it not to be answered. GenNXT should be a bit like a combo of the early nWo (their appearances befoe Bash at the Beach) and the early Crow Sting hovering in the rafters.

But one thing I think is key, the next time GenNXT is shown in full force, they need to dismantle things again.

I like what you are thinking Dude. If only you work for the WWE as a creative writer.

My friend actually sent me a text last night that said "If that was HHH in there he would have pedigreed all eight of them lol". So yes it's a real concern of mine that he will do something like that.

I didn't like the segment as it felt long and wierd. I can see them doing a Raw or PPV for contracts against superstars (not Santino). Every one gets a singles match. OR my dream match of them bringing back War Games.
