Ben Affleck.

He was the bomb in Phantoms, yo.

Also, ROH World Champion Morishima vs. Daniel Bryan from Manhattan Mayhem II (near 5* match and Bryan gets an infamous injury during it)

I think it would have been fine if he were picked to direct the movie (Since he has proven himself to be a damn good one), but this personally feels like the wrong role for somebody like Ben. Not only does he feel too old, but it also boils down to him being a rather stale actor. Maybe he does do well, though. Who knows.

They were aiming for an older actor. Someone that looks like they are in their late 40/50's. Jeffrey Dean Morgan was the rumored candidate or Josh Brolin.

Guess they went with slightly younger.

Seems like an odd choice but whatever, after all Val Kilmer did it once too.

He's friends with Clooney so he can teach Ben how NOT to play the role.

And maybe Affleck can teach Snyder how to be a good director.

After The Town and Argo, I don't hate him. Might be cool.

Well... whatever. I like Affleck well enough coming off Argo and the Town. A lot of it may depend upon what kind of Batman they are going for. However, on first impression, he's not going to make me forget Christian Bale (or Michael Keaton). Really hard for me to generate any excitement so long as I cannot successfully repress having actually seen Daredevil. Hmm... Jeffrey Dean Morgan seems like he would have made a great grizzled Dark Knight Returns kind of Batman.
