While it is known that Monty Brown gave word he was quitting Sunday and asked for his release on Monday before the tapings, Ron Killings also apparently asked Terry Taylor for his release backstage. The feeling with Ron Killings is that it is well known that he's been unhappy with his place in the company for a while as he always seems to have a popular feud going and the company can not capitalize on it or refuses to and thus, puts him back on Xplosion. Taylor tried to talk Killings out of leaving and at this point nothing is decided though many believe it won't be long before Killings leaves.

On a related note, WWE has been thinking about bringing back the Too Cool stable with Brian Lawler (Grandmaster Sexay) & Rikishi as well as adding Ron Killings to the team if at all possible. Brian Lawler was backstage recently at the show in Memphis, TN and talked to John Laurinaitis about coming back, though nothing more has been mentioned involving his name. WWE did express interest in Killings, but due to his current contract, nothing has happened. With Killings being visibly upset and asking for his release now, a return to WWE is very likely.

WWE does need the stables back. There aren't much of those nowadays. Having Too Cool would be great, but I doubt the stable would last long should it happen. Smackdown! really needs talent.

Yeah, it's kind of odd that those two particular stars are leaving.  I mean, southern company, black wrestlers..

Killings would be nice for WWE, and the Too Cool gang as well.

I forgot he was ever in the NOD. In that case, I'm all for a NOD return.

Farooq and D-Lo Brown coming back would be great(not to mention Rock, but that wouldn't happen)...and Mark Henry can join them, obviously. Then Savio Vega can come back.

Farooq can lead, D-Lo can be the mid-card guy, Mark Henry can be the enforcer, Ahmed Johnson can be comic relief, and Savio Vega can be there to suck. It's brilliant.

Well I for one was a huge Too Cool fan back then, so I wouldn't mind this. And Ron Killings is right TNA has never used him right lately and having him in Too Cool would be fun to see.

WWE needs more Godwins!

And maybe the DOA!

And definately The Mantaur!  He'd be so over without Cornette holding him back.

There are very few things that I'd like to see less than a Too Cool reunion and they only tend to be associated with the words necrophelia, incest, sodomy and McMahon.

And what is the WWE's deal with bringing back screw ups?  Jannetty was one thing, he earned the shots he blew.  Jeff Hardy. Now Christopher again.  Its good to be the King...'s son, I guess.

EDIT:  Oh yeah, Killings.  I get his beef with TNA.  He got bumped from one feud for a 90 year old man and has been irrelevant for quite some time.  Don't kknow if a change of scenery would do him any good... especially as a part of "New Cool."

TNA is dying from within. I bet Rhino and Team 3D wish that they'd signed those contracts.

Judging from how the other old guard ECW guys have been treated, I really don't think they are.
