May 26, 2006
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Orlando Jordan. WWE wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.

The word going around at the taping was that Jordan had extremely upset WWE officials, including Vince McMahon, for having an unauthorized person on the road with him and backstage at events.DirtyDarren
I guess that's a plausible reason as any. But it was spread around from within the WWE so I doubt there was any truth within it. I think they were gonna bring the bisexual angle into play but OJ said they word that 'no-one' says to VINCENT KENNEDY McMAHON!. No.
Not a loss for SmackDown! or the company to say the least. Yes, he had potential, but WWE really chucked it down the drain as soon as they made him do jobs in less than a minute.
I can almost guarantee we'll see TNA pick him up shortly.

My thoughts exactly
oh thank god they didnt use the bisexual angleDark_Hylian8I would've quit watching anything WWE forever if they'd done that angle.

Yes they do, they are willing to pick up any former WWE superstar and make them a top star because people know who they are. See Jeff Jarrett, Christian "Cage", Sting, Scott Steiner, Rhyno, etc.

No. TNA doesn't pick up low-carders with barely any talent.
Yet they've picked up the likes of Shannon Moore, Jackie Gayda, and Christy Hemmes? Interesting statement you've pitched up there.

This is not big loss to the WWE, to say the least.
Honestly, I do not blame WWE for this, at all.
He was given couple of decent chances to get over the fans and he did not... Granted, WWE could have given him better storyline/direction to work with, however, I doubt he would have gotten over with the fans, regardless of that. His in-ring style was "sloppy" and honestly, I do not see why people thought he was underrated... if anything, he was overrated.

There is no doubt, that he has potential, but Orlando Jordan has been added to a long list of WWE Wrestlers, that have been simply misused over the years, the WWE, is hardly using anybody right

At least Rhino can be used in gimmick matches pretty well...JML897Let's not forget (as WWE seemed to) that Rhino was the last ECW Champion and ECW Television Champion. Rhino was also pretty hot coming off of ECW One Night Stand, where he managed to come off like a superstar amongst the ECW guys who invaded Raw and Smackdown (the pops for his Gores were huge). He was also recieved very well by the Impact Zone (despite being brought in as a heel lackey to Jarrett).
In many ways, he came off similar to Christian, as a guy WWE had no clue how to use. Also, when he was allowed to, Rhino stepped up his game.

I wasn't implying that either was actually being used more effectively in TNA, just that they had the potential to be.
