I guess the reason makes from VInce makes sense. Too many of these moves have injured people, but I think it's more of JBL whispering in Vince's ear about how the cruisers are making the upper-card look bad.DuckSol
A message to Paul London - Get the hell out of there now.JML897
Well, that is simply nonsense. I mean, if the CW division was not suffering enought as it is in WWE, they can no longer able do several high-flying moves. I mean, what is the point of having a CW division anymore, if they are not allowed to do the risky high-flying moves that really help to make the division special. Plain and simple...this is nonsense!
I wish all WWE CW's would go TNA, where they know how to treat CW's and they do not limit what they can do.
I really don't trust unofficial infos and unoficial bans much. It can all turn out be a bad joke or some kind of misunderstanding. We have to wait for Velocity and see what'll happen. But if it turns out to be true, I really hope things will turn out like in the case of Tombstone. First Tomstone was baned, but later the "masters" where given permision to use it. In case of Tombstone "masters" are Kane and Taker; in case of high risk moves - experienced cruisers. Also remember that the Tombstone ban resulted in the creation of Last Ride, so if they ban 450 maybe they'll come up with something equal, if not better. Besides I can understand why WWE could think about baning these moves, you see, they have responsibility for their wrestlers and they also have some good money invsted in them. Remember, Paul London was seriously hurt from a botched highflying move, the courtesy of Psicosis (I believe) and another one resulted in a death of a wrestler in OVW.
A death resulted from a high flying move?? WOW!! I might change my mind.I really don't trust unofficial infos and unoficial bans much. BTW, Juventud did the 450 on London.

Dan Quirk, a 22-year-old New England independent wrestler passed away tonight after an accident in the ring at a show in Taunton, MA. Quirk, who used the ring name Spider in a match for the UCW promotion held at the Elks Lodge, caught an opponent doing a moonsault off the top rope. In landing, his head crashed hard onto the concrete, causing a massive hemmorhage. He was only briefly revived before being declared dead at a local hospital.
That was a 450 that Psicois did to london, I thought it was a legdrop. will the moves still be in the game??!!!Kotenks
Correction, it was Juventud that did it. I think it was his fault that got the move banned. Any why banned the Shooting Star Press when Paul London does it perfectly. He does that move about half way into the ring, which makes sense, cuz you won't land on someone face unlike what Kidman did awhile back in 2004 to Paul London. I think doing high-flying moves to close is causing for some serious injury. Doing the move a little farther will cause a lot less injury. Paul London deserve to be treated as a mid-card, not a jobber. They need to put that title back on London, or otherwise they plan on putting him in a Tag Team division, or the United States title run!

i'm sure lesnar's little attempt at a shooting star press didn't help chance vince's mind :P
Brock was a heavyweight, and I didn't think he deserve to do that. Didn't he get heat for doing a crusierweight moves back at that time?!KevyRWho cares if he did. Shelton Benjamin is not a cruiserweight and look what he does in the ring.

That shooting star press attempt has to be in wrestlings top 10 list, or at least top 20.so what if brock wasn't a cruiserweight? should we tell benoit not to do the headbutt? any big guys not to do a suplex off the top rope?
brock did the ssp back in ovw a lot of times. he did them perfectly then.
sephy37
I think he should have used it in WWE when he first came, he could of had a 1-2 combo of the F-5 and then the SSP.
