DJ Hyde and Mana to Settle Score at CAGE OF DEATH VIII!
Two of CZW's hardest hitters will look to end their fierce rivaly on CZW's biggest stage - Cage of Death VIII!
This all started back when DJ Hyde, under the guidance of Hon. Maven T. Bentley, esq. did the unthinkable. At the end of a tribute to the late, great Chri$ Ca$h, Hyde hit the ring, attacking CZW Owner John Zandig & his son, while the two were holding Zandig's grandchild. A potential dangerous situation was prevented with the debut of Mana, who fought off CZW's resident bully and triggered a war that has seen both the New Alhambra Arena and Frightland fairgrounds torn to shreds.
Bentley has tormented Mana by mocking him, referring to how "New York" effectively took his character, and if he did not leave CZW, DJ would possibly take away his career.
Mana has not backed down, standing tall against Hyde and elevating both men to an intensity that had not been seen before. Mana went so far as to cost DJ his CZW Iron Man Championship bout with LuFisto at CZW "Last Team Standing".
Who knows what to expect at CAGE OF DEATH VIII, as both men go into the match knowing that one mistake could lead to permanent injury at the hands of the other. Can Mana finally silence the "Mastadon" of the CZW roster? Or will DJ & Maven finally prove to be too much to overcome?
CZW Junior Heavyweights Take Flight at CAGE OF DEATH VIII in Explosive 8-Man Tag Team Match!
CZW CAGE OF DEATH has often been the "proving ground" when it comes to the Junior Heavyweight Division. In addition to the #1 Contender's Match for the Jr. Heavyweight Title, the following contest has just been signed!
Chikara Young Lions Cup Champion "Canadian Dynamite" Max Boyer, "The Anomoly" Niles*Young (with Noel Harlow), and the brand-new Chikara Campeones de Parejas Team F.I.S.T. - Gran Akuma and Icarus will face the popular new team of Beef Wellington & Player Uno, as well as CZW newcomers Chuck Taylor and Ricochet!
This match is yet another potential show-stealer...and has a unique stipulation. LUCHA RULES are in effect! Who knows how one referee can possibly keep up with these eight athletes!
CZW World Tag Team Championship Defended at CAGE OF DEATH VIII...and This is Personal...
The brand-new CZW World Tag Team Champions The BLKOUT - "The Black Jesus" Sabian & "Primo" Robby Mireno will find themselves in a familiar situation - trying to leave a Cage of Death event with CZW's Tag Team gold firmly in the BLKOUT's camp.
But for Sabian & Mireno, based on the happenings of CZW "Last Team Standing" and "Fear", they could very well lose more than their titles on December 9th.
It will be BLKOUT Vs. Blackout at CAGE OF DEATH VIII, as the "original" Blackout comes back to Philadelphia, seeking vengeance, retribution, and gold from those who have "raped their name" for years, as they claim.
Can Blackout back up their claim that Mireno, Ruckus, Kingston, and Sabian stole their identity and promoted it as their own?
Will Robby Mireno, now a CZW World Tag Team champion for the second time, be able to prove himself a fighting champion, or could his career be ended as quickly as it began to flourish?
Blackout claim that Zandig made a big mistake by inviting them to Philadelphia for revenge back at "Last Team Standing". They won't be controlled, won't be censored, and won't be held accountable for their actions. BLKOUT has ran their mouths for years - can they keep their titles, their identity...and their lives?

Sexxy Eddy and Hallowicked Fight for #1 Contendership at CAGE OF DEATH!
It's been a turbulent year for the "Triple X Sexxx Express" Sexxxy Eddy. He's won his first singles title in CZW, only to lose it to Sonjay Dutt, who cracked him in the head with the title belt. He's found a new partner, in and out of the ring, in the CZW Iron Man Champion LuFisto, then found himself in a bloody fight with her in Delaware. Finally, Eddy found himself in the ring with several new foes, and one familiar one, at CZW NIGHT OF INFAMY, and emerged with a spot on CZW's CAGE OF DEATH VIII.
For Hallowicked, 2006 has also seen some big changes. The "Dark Minion of the Underworld" has been hearing the cheers of the fans, and used those cheers to help pave his way to championship status in Philadelphia's toughest wrestling promotion. Hallowicked stood tall at NIGHT OF INFAMY, and is only one win away from a showdown with the reigning CZW World Jr. Heavyweight Champion Jigsaw, one of Hallowicked's all-time personal rivals.
Both Eddy and Hallowicked are right on the verge of a crossroads in their career. With a win, Eddy can end 2006 on a bright note, rebounding from a difficult title loss, as well as finally getting a one-on-one title shot with Jigsaw. Hallowicked, on the other hand, knows he has the tools and ability to be the Junior Heavyweight Division's top wrestler for some time. Can he make the most of his opportunity? Will Eddy have something special planned for CZW's biggest show of the year? Can Hallowicked shock the world as Jigsaw did?
CZW News Update has learned that the reigning CZW World Junior Heavyweight Champion Jigsaw will be in the house at CAGE OF DEATH VIII! The champion is in the process of recovering from a knee injury and is no doubt eager to see his CZW fans, as well as get back into the ring! Who will become his top challenger at CAGE OF DEATH?
New Jersey All-Stars and Team AnDrew to Finally Settle the Score at CAGE OF DEATH VIII!
The popular Team AnDrew - The "Sambo Specialist" Andy Sumner and the "University City Stretcher" Drew Gulak will end their impressive 2006 year with a personal goal reached - competing at CZW CAGE OF DEATH VIII. Only problem is, there's a rather brash & cocky duo who have also been making big waves in CZW, The New Jersey All-Stars - JC Ryder & Lucky, who along with Cheech actually defeated Team AnDrew at NIGHT OF INFAMY.
These four young athletes have brought some exciting tag team contests to the Combat Zone in recent months, with the All-Stars winning the most recent showdown in November, but Team AnDrew coming up the better team in the All-Star's debut.
This is an important "make or break" match for both teams. They're both exciting, confident, and have come very far in a short amount of time. One would think that a win at CAGE OF DEATH would certainly propel the winning team to, if not the very top, then right near the top of the CZW tag team division.
Four young athletes with a dream to stand victorious at CAGE OF DEATH. One team will outshine the other. But who wants it more?

Ruckus Looking to Smoke The Human Tornado on CZW's Largest Stage!
Combat Zone Wrestling has gotten word that BLKOUT's Ruckus, now with pockets full of, as Robbie Mireno states, "That MTV Money", has become cockier and more off-the-wall than ever before. Bigger blunts & better **** have Ruckus preparing to return to CZW at Cage of Death, an event that hasn't been too kind to him. He's lost the CZW World Title, he's lost the CZW World Tag Team Titles there in the last 2 years alone...so what does Ruckus have planned for this year's installment?
Calling out the one man who might be able to steal his spotlight: The Human Tornado.
It was at CZW "Last Team Standing" that The Human Tornado made his debut, teaming with Ruckus as The BLKOUT's newest member. The two made huge noise, wrestling a spectactular match against The New Jersey All-Stars and advancing to the semi-finals. It was by far one of the best CZW debut's I've ever seen. Tornado had the crowd in the palm of his hand, was embarassing his opponents, and focusing on what was most important to him - entertaining the fans.
And THAT was the problem. Note in the semi-final match, that Ruckus wasn't about "popping" the crowd. He could have cared less about applause. About internet reaction. About star ratings. He wanted to win, he wanted to go to the finals, and he wanted back the CZW World Tag Team Championship. The Tornado, on the other hand, was looking to keep entertaining. Dancing around, celebrating, playing to the crowd. This pissed off Ruckus, Mireno, and all of BLKOUT. A loss in the second-round meant Tornado losing his spot in BLKOUT as quickly as he earned it.
Tornado was replaced by the returning Sabian. BLKOUT eventually made good on their promise, and at NIGHT OF INFAMY they took back the CZW World Tag Team Titles. But now, they're a major score left unsettled. The Human Tornado knows that he can steal Ruckus' spotlight, which would be the ultimate way to get back as his former "label-mate".
On Saturday Night, December 9th, on CZW's largest stage, CAGE OF DEATH VIII, expect dancing, smokin', flying, and all-out carnage when The Human Tornado goes one-on-one with The BLKOUT's Ruckus. It's a match that had to happen, a match that must happen, and for the CZW fans and locker room, a match that is eagerly anticipated.
Can Ruckus finally shake his CAGE OF DEATH curse? Or is The Human Tornado's challenge just the newest problem for a BLKOUT group that has so many heading into the biggest show of the year?
Ultraviolent Underground Championship Dream Match at CZW CAGE OF DEATH VIII!
One is a staple of CZW, a hardcore warrior with a fresh haircut and mind focused on one thing - violence.
One is a CZW newcomer who has risen to the top as quickly as anyone, earning the fans respect & admiration, as well as the Ultraviolent Underground Championship.
At CZW CAGE OF DEATH VIII, the Ultraviolent Underground Championship will be on the line as champion "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger collides with the insane Necro Butcher in a battle that could easily tear the New Alhambra Arena apart. This a match that neither man expects to lose, as both have seen 2006 take them to new heights. Drake Younger has found himself in Tournament of Death, main-eventing against "The Future of Hardcore" Nick Gage, and having an awesome bout at CZW NIGHT OF INFAMY. The Necro Butcher has become a top CZW World Heavyweight Title challenger, gained tremendous national coverage in the battle against Ring of Honor, and even gotten an even crazier look courtesy of a Texas haircut!
Necro lives to give the fans what they want, a similar trait found in the champion Drake Younger. At CZW CAGE OF DEATH, these two fan favorites will collide, with bragging rights, the title, and more importantly, the fans' respect on the line. Can Younger continue has meteoric rise here in the Combat Zone? Will Necro prove this is HIS turf when it comes to deathmatches? Who will be left standing on December 9th?!?

Zandig, Lobo, and Nick Gage Battle in CAGE OF DEATH...One Shall Be Retired!
CZW CAGE OF DEATH VIII will be the final time you have the opportunity to see one of either CZW Owner John Zandig, former World Champion Lobo, or "Future of Hardcore" Nick Gage compete in the ring.
Nick Gage was up to his usual unpredictable antics at NIGHT OF INFAMY. Throwing a traffic cone at the "Gold Club" box above the arena, viciously assaulting CZW official Derek Sabato, and cutting a profane tirade against Zandig & Lobo. Lobo had it, and the crowd went nuts as the two legends, Gage & Lobo battled it out. Zandig hit the ring and took out Lobo, with Gage cheering him on. "Kick his ass, boss!" screamed Gage. But then Zandig turned his attention to Gage and took HIM out! The Fore-Fathers of CZW had officially been destroyed!
Lobo can't stand Zandig, blaming him for CZW going away from what the company was started for and caling him a liar for promising things would return to how they were in 1999. Zandig can't stand Lobo, claiming he's done nothing to help bring in fans and make things how they use to be. Gage hates both of them, and now will only refer to Lobo as **** and Zandig as ****
Zandig put out the challenge: "What are YOU going to do to fill up this arena?"
On December 9th, at CZW CAGE OF DEATH VIII, one of the true legends of Combat Zone Wrestling will be retired once and for all. Lobo, who had already been retired, may have to deal with the possibility of being humbled twice in the same environment! Nick Gage, dubbed the "Future", may have NO future as this could be his last match, something those close to him have predicted would come sooner than later due to his recent behavior. And just what if Cage of Death meant the final match ever for Zandig? That couldn't happen, right?
Zandig commented to CZW News Update:
This WILL be the end of one of our careers, I can guarantee that. It could very well be the end of more than one.
CZW World Heavyweight Championship Situation Finally Resolved!
Three questions have been on the mind of the CZW fans throughout 2006 concerning the CZW World Heavyweight Championship:
1) When will Justice Pain be finally granted a chance to take back the title he made famous?
2) When will Eddie Kingston and Chris Hero finally settle their rivalry once and for all?
3) Pain, Hero, and Kingston...three deserving champions. Who's the better man?
At CZW CAGE OF DEATH VIII, "The Savior of CZW" Chris Hero, "The Ultraviolent All-Star" Justice Pain, and CZW World Champion "The King of Diamonds" Eddie Kingston will battle for the company's crown jewel, with one emerging as the face of Combat Zone Wrestling.
At NIGHT OF INFAMY, Kingston and Pain had a classic, with the arena shaking as the fans cheered on Pain, who was in the best shape we've seen him in. Pain took everything Kingston (and his BLKOUT label-mates) could throw at him. Kingston took everything Pain could throw at him. It was most likely the accidental strike from Chris Hero on Pain that turned the tide in the match and allowed the champion to put the challenger away.
Eddie Kingston has turned the tables in his blood feud with Hero. It used to be Hero that ruined the King's life. Now, in one evening, Kingston left Hero a bloody mess, took away his CZW World Tag Team Titles, and ruined the night for Claudio Castagnoli. Justice Pain had the fans begging for him to take back the championship. Hero found himself in the middle of a battle for a title he unfairly lost, and perhaps never should have lost at all.
Kingston. Pain. Hero. At CZW CAGE OF DEATH VIII, it's extremely personal.
Cheech and Cloudy Finally Settle the Score at CAGE OF DEATH - Falls Count Anywhere in Philadelphia!
Since their arrival to CZW at Cage of Death VII, Cheech and Cloudy have been at each other's throats, trying to top the other...or in Cheech's case, trying to injure his long-time friend and partner.
Multi-wrestler title matches, one-on-one, tag team bouts, six-man tag matches...Cloudy cannot defeat Cheech. Cheech knows this and will tell anyone who will listen. But at NIGHT OF INFAMY, Cheech and his New Jersey All-Star buddies may have went over the line.
Cloudy was left a bloody mess after having a steel chair launched at his face. The next evening at a CHIKARA event, the wound still had not even closed up and Cloudy bled profusely. This isn't about not wanting to team up with Cloudy, or not even liking him. Cheech is out to hurt him and get him out of the CZW locker room.
They tore down the house at Cage of Death VII, and one year later their rivalry will end once and for all. This time, they will go one-on-one in a "Falls Count Anywhere in Philadelphia" match. Knowing the rich history of Falls Count Anywhere matches in the former ECW Arena, and that Cheech & Cloudy are both tremendous students of the wrestling game, there's no telling what these two will pull out at CAGE OF DEATH VIII, CZW's biggest show of the year. While Rey Misterio, Jr. and Psicosis had a classic in this very building under similar rules for the former ECW company, they did not have the HATRED that Cheech & Cloudy shared for one another. These two are out to steal the show once again and send the other home in an ambulance, and personally, I can't wait to see them do so.
OMG cage of death looks so F,N good wish i was going to it , ah well im going to Jan show so i supose it anit all bad lol
Zandig/ Gage / Lobo will tare the house down this wiil most likely be Zandig or Lobos last ever match so you know they are goin to kill themselves in that cage theres bound 2 be some sick cage bumps in this one , i think and hope gage wins this one
Hero/ Pain/ Kingston could be better than Hero/Kingston at Down with the sickness if all 3 guys bring there a game which they always do , i think kingston will retain but i want Hero 2 win
i my opinion the 8 man Lucha match will be MOTN , this match will have Ricochet making his CZW debut now i know many of you will never have seen Ricochet before but he wrestles in IWA:MS & Chikara and s the best high flyer bar none hes even better than Jack Evans also this match has one of fav teams in it , Team F.I.S.T ( Grand Akuma & Icarus) the new Chikara Campeones de Parejas ( they just beat Hero & Castagnoli for the belts at Chikara Brick a few night ago), this match also has my 2 fav CZW undercard wrestles in it , Beef wellington and niles young
