Do you feel that wrestlemania is becoming like a normal PPV?

I have to say in my opinion that the last two wrestlemanias are not up to the name of the PPV, it seems that the PPV is becoming less and less a big hit to wrestling and sports entertainment. I admit that last year there were some good matches but not great.

I believe the reason for that is because the wwe is lacking major stars at the moment and the booking of last years matches was something weired making a WHC match before the womens match( which I think it shouldn't be there in the first place ) and the hair vs hair match.

Even so the wwe did well in the last PPV in terms of sales and the breaking attendence it felt nothing special, just biger arena to do the show in, with not much to look for.

I just like to read you opinions.

hmmm I agree slightly when you compare say the main events I don't believe they were up to th standard I saw a few years ago I mean Rock vs Stone Cold, HHH HBK and Benoit and Eddie Vs Kurt.

Round about Wrestlemania 21 , they kinda lost it....there main events were fairly good but not up to great standard I mean JBL held the title for too long and I was sick of it and knew Cena was gonna win for obvious reasons and the HHH Vs Batista match didn't have enough hype apart when Batista powerbombed HHH through the table a few months back!

I am looking forward to WM24 , HHH is a favourite to be in the main event or Randy Orton...but only time will tell..

Maybe it's because Cena always wins.... but in all seriousness, WM21>>>WM22>>>>>>WM23

WM23 could have been redeemed Edge vs. Orton match but they didn't do it.

WM22 is overrated. WM23 had better world title matches.

Cena/HBK > Cena/HHH.

Taker/Batista > Rey/Orton/Angle.

WM23 was real good. IMO, WM23 had three 4 star matches , and a 3 star match. WM22 just had a better undercard.

And the Heavyweight title matches at WM21 were from bad to decent. Cena/JBL was the bad, and HHH/Tista was very generic, so it was decent. But Angle/HBK and MITB were over **** 1/4, hell yes.

Wrestlemania 19 and 20 were probably the greatest of all wrestlemanias. I don't know how it went downhill from there really. All I could think of is that Wrestlemania was dependant upon the Rock and Stone Sold right up to that point, and so when they were gone, the mania left with them.

If they'd get their former main eventers off the mid-card level, they'd have more talent to work with. King Booker, should go back to the old Booker T for wrestling's sake.

WM 21 is where I draw the line between great the Great PPV. These last years has had nothing but Cena. I really hate long title holders. It doesn't create diversity in the shows, it's just the same thing week after week, until Wrestlemania , then it's the same match you've been seeing all year.

The placement of the Women's title match was a smart move, as it gave the crowd time to recover from the past matches. Shakespeare did it in Hamlet before the final scene in order for the readers/viewers of the play to calm down, so a dramatic ending could stick its meaning. The Woman's match wasn't the best choice I suppose, but there's no need to burn out the crowd before the main event.

Honestly, WrestleMania still feel like a bigger PPV than the others because 1.) The price is much more, 2.) It gets hype in advance and the buildup takes alot longer, 3.) Longer PPV hours and 4.) WM still have matches that will deliver and some that will disappoint. Hasn't it been happening at all WM PPV's?! I have enjoy some WM more than others. I thought WM 23 main events were stronger compare to 22 or 21! You can't always expect WM to be better than the last unless you put many good opponents against each other so they can work well.

Well Wrestlemania hasnt really benn good since Wrestlemaina 20 but that was awsome i think WWE is messing up PPVs like mania, rumble, sumerslam due to superstars from all brands come together on any PPV which ruins ones like mania and so on the only diffrence with Mania is it is better promoted than other PPVs and tickets sell out fast so i think Mania is becoming like the rest of the PPVs

Shame on you WWE

Hm, no not really cause in Wrestlemania, theres always a title or two that always change in hands. Thats always exciting to see, and plus on regular PPVs, titles aren't usually won by different people, but yet usually stay on the same hands. But thats just the way I see how Wrestlemania is more exciting than other PPVs. Though, I do admit that WWE is lacking main eventers to win titles and whatnot.

It's not just Wrestlemania, it's everything. The belts, the matches, the spots, the angles, the storylines..... nothing means anything anymore. Everything is constantly rushed with little tono development. Every week and every PPV, it's nothing but a bunch of guys exhibiting a bunch of strung togethermoves with no emotion behind them, and cutting lame scripted promos. When people at work start taking jabs at wrestling, i don't even argue with them anymore. I agree with them, it looks fake. It's not believable anymore, because there's no emotion. And not a whole lot oftalent, either.
