Yeah, but i can see where guys who take/took them to enhance their performance level are coming from. It's exactly why the business has to change. However, guys who take themsoley to enhance their look are pathetic.

People in the wrestling business take roids because the whole system there is based on who's on top of the game. It's like having a highly competitive high school sports team. Only difference is that on this team, whether you make it to the top or not depends on whether you succeed or not. For example, although it's scripted, someone who holds a title in the WWE makes more money than someone who doesn't. Someone who's in the main events makes more money than someone who starts the show. This is how it works there. This is why most wrestlers try so hard to get to the top, the career they chose requires it for them to make a living. And let's be quite honest here, for someone who chose the wrestling world as their career, is there too much else for them to do? I highly doubt someone like Kennedy would want to be a cashier at Pathmark.

This is why wrestlers take enhancing drugs in the business. It gives them that extra edge over the competition and maybe, just maybe, they think this can get them to the top. For a lot of wrestlers it has taken them to the top. What they don't understand is that what these things are doing to their bodies is not helping, but basically sticking it in overdrive. You're getting help from it today, but in the long run you will have many complications, and yes, you can even die as a result from it.

The best way for wrestlers to stop taking these things is for the company to change. I don't blame them for wanting to get to the top when they work in a company that promotes that. The WWE needs to strengthen that Wellness policy and they need to work out some other kinks within their system. This is the only way wrestlers can stop trying so hard to look or feel stronger and they can focus on the wrestling aspect of the game.
