ECW/Smackdown Spoilers for 2/12/08 and 2/15/08 from Houston

I went the the taping last night in Houston.

ECW was taped first.

Funaki vs Jobber in a dark match, Funaki won but apparently got hurt in the process.

ECW starts

Chavo comes out and challenges Punk, but Estrada comes out and says that Punk is facing Mark Henry tonite.

Promo of Stevie Richards interview plays.

Richards def jobber in quick match.

Kofi Kingston def Mike Knox, Kofi's not that bad.

Tommy Dreamer w/ Colin Delany def John Morrison w/ the miz after Delany distracts Morrison. Miz and Morrison beat down both after match.

Kelly Kelly def. Layla

CM Punk def. Mark Henry by DQ after Henry holds Punk onto ropes too long. Chavo comes out to attack Punk but get the GTS after Henry is thrown out of ring.

Start of Smackdown(huge pyro)\

Batista def. MVP in a mediocre match which involved MVP going in and out of the ring for a good 10 mins. Batista hit Batista bomb. BTW, the Batista Bomb signs with a picture of a round bomb were everywhere.

Edge is backstage telling Ryder and Hawkins that he has to go out on his own.

Jimmy Wang Yang(who got a HUGE pop here in Houston) and Shannon Moore def. Ryder/Hawkins, Jesse and Festus, and Duece and Domino in a meh worthy 8-man tag match.

a promo for the Palumbo/Noble thing airs, which confused the crowd because it hadn't aired yet on tv.

Victoria def. Michelle McCool after Widow's Peak after Palumbo rides around the ring on his bike, distracting McCool. Palumbo then begins to do more bad mic work threatening McCool.

Finlay w/ Horny def. Khali(again) w/ Signh via Horny distraction. You can't wrestle chants erupted during the match. Horny got a huge pop and the kids near me went crazy.

Undertaker def. Big Daddy V after chokeslam or some big move. Taker got a HUGEEEEEEE pop in his hometown. Then Striker got involed and Taker used the submission move he has on Striker. It was obvious that he was using a blood pill becuse Striker spit all the "blood" from his mouth and it looked normal after that. A stretcher came for striker while the crew cleaned up.

Kane/CM Punk def. Shelton/Chavo via GTS on Chavo. Kane's pyro is insanely loud and the in-ring pyro nearly blinded me. This did explain why Punk's ECW match was cut short though, because this one wasn't too bad.

Crew then set up for this stupid Valentines thing with Edge and Vicky. After Vickey came out, a huge Eddie chat blared out. Then Edge actually proposed to Vicky which made the Eddie chants grow, Vickie said yes. We left after that because some of us were disgusted that they would do that to Eddie, but before we left, Rey came out and cut a Guerrero promo that ended in a fight.

MY NOTES: one of my friends knew a camera guy, but he was too busy to take us backstage, he did get us free No Way Out t-shirts. I also got that HHH t-shirt, the white on with the skulls looking at each other.

PYRO IS LOUD

the new HD set looks really nice.

the stupid replica belts that retail for $235 were everywhere. so where horny hats for the kids.

while he is up in heaven his ex wife is in a stupid story line. if i was vickie i would never want to be seen after this garbage is done with.

SHAME ON HER

I hate to be different but Widow's have romantic relationships after the death of their spouse all the time. It's a bad storyline but not much more than that in my opinion.trick_man01

she's probably doing it for the money, since I doubt that she was able to sustain her family for long without Eddie.

R.I.P. Eddie, hopefully this storyline will just die.

jesus stop acting all preachy like you knew eddie personally, his wife vickie, his nephew and one of his closest friends are all part of the storyline and if they found it half as revolting as you all do they wouldn't have anything to do with it. if they can deal with it i'm sure you all can.
