Edge was always pretty stale... to be honest. I mean, when people think of the big things Edge did, it's the ladder matches, which had a lot to do with Christian and the Hardys too (Dudleys also). On his own, he's been pretty meh. His mic skills have never been that good, and his wrestling is solid but not always entertaining. And, character wise, the best thing he had going for him was Rated R Superstar, and even that got pretty stale quickly.

Walking around asking who stole his tights........I can't think of anything Funaki did other than job. Mark Henry would be in that boat but somehow he became relavent.

Also, does not help matters, either, that the heel turn came out of nowhere. Say what you will about the face run, but at least that turn had a progression to it.
