According to a report sent to Pwinsider.com by James Straton, former WCW, WWE and TNA performer Booker T challenged RVD for the TNA Title at the TNA house show in Lake Charles, Louisiana. RVD was scheduled to face AJ Styles, but AJ's flight was "detoured to Houston". They did the gimmick where the referee started the 10-count, and at nine, Booker T came out to answer the challenge.
Honestly, I doubt Booker T will return. They were in Houston, so this probably was a one shot deal. Booker has said that he's busy focusing on his personal life and his wrestling school to make a full time return.

If that's the case then why just bother having a home-town wrestler for a one-shot deal for house shows? Not like they're any important for somelone like TNA who are mostly Florida-bound.
