I think there the samelilgrinch
i actually think before and after the draft Raw dominates Snmackdown!
Based entirely on the quality of television since the Draft ended, Smackdown is smoking Raw big time.
That may be because they are building to a PPV and Raw is sort of in cruise control, waiting to start Summerslam hype, but regardless, Smackdown has had the better wrestling and the slightly less crappy writing. Raw needs RVD back and for HBK to become a real heel as oppossed to trying to walk the line, because it ain't working. Smack has just been better than Raw the last few weeks.
i'm not the one to say which is better cuz i always look at the smackdown spoilers and if it doesn't interest me, then i don't watch it (which is almost every show) so i only watch raw.
but right now i'm watching Impact! on UPN Eastern Iowa (yeah i know, it's weird, and it's this weeks too, styles vs. bently is on) and impact! is better than both raw and smackdown :D
What RAW needs right now is for HBK and HHH to join forces and recreate DX. That would be so awesome.Biggestgeekever
Then have Sean Waltman (AKA: X-Pac), BG James (Road Dogg), and Kip James (Billy Gunn) to come back and I would pee my pants.

no, go look at the TNA thread and that will explain it.

Pat his prime or not, X-Pac said he was going to try and make a WWE return.

sean waltman is showing that he still has some spark in him. his match against raven in a 6 sided cage at lockdown, the king of the mountain match, and his match with a.j. styles at no surrender were all really good.

I still think the New Age Outlaws would own the Tag-Team Division.

D-X, 2005: No thank you.

I agree, it would not be the same and most of these guys are too old to be doing that kind of stuff anymore, for it to be believeable. Anyways, WWE/F tired to bring D-X back in late 1999 and it failed overall IMHO, so I do not think it would work this time either.
Yes it lasted for fews months, but D-X did not feel the same and it felt more like a rehash than anything. Let classic groups such as NWO and D-X stay dead, they have tired to bring back NWO many times sense 1999 and it has failed everytime, so let all of these classic groups stay dead please. Let memories, stay memoires and quit trying to bring back the good old days, let's try and make new memories, okay!
After watching TGAB and looking back at Vengeance well I am going for RAW 100%.hbk91That is not really a fair comparison, though. Vengeance was practically a dual-brand PPV thanks to the draft, that was also heavily booked to show up One Night Stand. The more fair comparison will be between Unforgiven and No Mercy.

Okay, Unforgiven 2004 still was much better than No Mercy 2004. While Unforgiven was some what disappointing, it was still a good PPV overall. While, No Mercy was not so-good and the PPV was not very rememberly IMHO (far from it). If you are talking about this year's Unforgiven and No Mercy, they have not even happen yet, so we have to put some into account with the comparrsion of Raw and SmackDown.
Also, people tend to compared the most recent. Well..Vengeance was the most recent Raw PPV and Great American Bash was the most recent SmackDown PPV, so of course people are going to put those in the comparsion of what show it better, it is only natural that people do that IMHO.
Okay, here is more fair comparsion than, Judgment Day 2005 vs. BackLash 2005. Still, Raw easily had the much better PPV, as Batista-HHH had improved since their WM 21 match and gave me a solid main-event. While JD was nothing great and the JD main-event had a pretty lame ending IMHO.
I know it sounds like I am bashing, but I really just trying to show you why Raw is better than SmackDown IMHO. I agree, SmackDown has gotten better since the draft and was actually better than Raw a whole last week. But overall, I was trying to say Raw is the better brand than SmackDown and Raw usually has the better PPV IMHO.
Judgement Day 2005 vs Backlash 2005, I happen to see it the other way, as I do with No Mercy 2004 and Unforgiven 2004. My point was that Vengeamce 2005 was in the unique position of being during the draft, which allowed them to put on, pretty much, a dual-brand PPV, complete with two World Title matches, plus a dream rematch. The better comparison will be when Unforgiven and No Mercy come around, as both brands will be on even ground for those.Okay, Unforgiven 2004 still was much better than No Mercy 2004. I'm looking at the television each brand has put on since the draft concluded (and I've actually watched both), and quite frankly, Smackdown has smoked Raw. Neither brand is exactly thrilling me right now but on Smackdown, they actually wrestle, which is what I find entertaining.
I've heard a few people tout Raw's "Star Power," but "star power" doesn't exactly make for thrilling entertainment when none of them wrestle.
When Cena moved over to RAW, I didn't think he'd be a credible main event level wrestler on RAW. When Christian moved over the SM, he was stealing the show but was low-to-mid-card on RAW and became upper-mid-card sometime main event on SM. RAW has this perception of being the MAIN show while SM is like B-show.
My examples aren't the best and I can't really explain it well but while story-wise there seems to be some better plots on SM, there's something about RAW and the fact that it's live that makes it seem more special and more must-see than SM. This specialness gets attached to it's wrestlers and makes them (in a way) seem higher on the card than their SM counterparts.

I get your point, but you should realize people are going to compare Vengeance and Great American Bash, since Vengeance was the last Raw brand PPV and GAB was the last SmackDown brand PPV. In another words, fair or not, people will naturally compared both brand's last pay-per-views.
I agree SmackDown was the better show overall last week and is looking to better the better show this week, I am just saying as a whole, Raw is the better brand. But I agree though, SmackDown has gotten better since the draft and I enjoy it more now, I actually watch both too.
If you think SmackDown has smoked Raw, your are completetly have the right to your view. I think it is more even than the SmackDown has Smoked Raw, but I do agree that SmackDown had the better show last week and will probably have the better show this week. I do not know, maybe it is because I am the kind of person that looks at the postive side of things, but I am actually enjoying both brands as whole right now. Even SmackDown, which clearly shows the draft did SmackDown a lot more good than most people thought.
I am probably bias towards Raw, seeing how I am Raw fanboy in heart (I admit that), but I think Raw is still the better brand as whole.
I understand that since they are the most recent PPVs, they are the easiest to draw comparisons too, but that ain't going to stop me from pointing out the circumstances surrounding each create an unfair comparison.I get your point, but you should realize people are going to compare Vengeance and Great American Bash, since Vengeance was the last Raw brand PPV and GAB was the last SmackDown brand PPV. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by Raw this week, and Smackdown might stay in the slump the Bash has created, since we will no doubt have to listen to JBL some more.
I'll be the first to admit that I called Smackdown's draft wrong, they are benefitting more from their acquisitions tha Raw is, right now. I do expect things to turn around, though, but as of right now, (or when I wrote it) Smackdown is better.
RAW is better look at last night they threw 2 concerts for the fans that were there live thatz what the Battle of the Bands was all about and wrestling in one night with all the top dogs on one show and diva search man i gotta get my cable bak!!!!:?LynchMob09R
I take it you did not watch Raw last night!
There was only one concert last night; John Cena's. Chris Jericho said this: "I am not going to do my concert with Fozzy, because you fans are too biased and are already boing them."
You like the RDS? That weird! I guess everything in the world has at least one fan of it after all, to each his or her own.
