Kurt Angle appeared on the Bubba the Love Sponge Radio Show today and had many very interesting things to say. Highlights are below.

- Said that he makes more money now with TNA than he did with WWE.

- Said Dixie Carter knows more about business than Vince McMahon.

- Said that TNA Impact did a record rating last week and that the show now gets more viewers than Smackdown and ECW.

- Said that TNA is working on bringing Hulk Hogan and Big Show in, adding that Big Show was one of the hardest workers in WWE but was never appreciated.

- Mentioned rumors that Chris Jericho is coming to TNA.

- Said Kevin Nash won't be able to wrestle for another year.

- Said that a doctor told him that Vince McMahon is "a heart attack waiting to happen" judging by the purple veins on his nose.

- Said that WWE got a major business deal in China because of him, but that Shane McMahon ended up getting the credit for it.

- Said Triple H is a slimeball but that he has a great mind and will be good for WWE after he retires.

- Once again said that TNA drew a higher rating last week than Smackdown.

- Said that Hulk Hogan and Goldberg might come to TNA soon and when that happens, they will beat RAW.

- Said TNA's top free agents are Hulk Hogan, Big Show, and Chris Jericho.

- Said that Test is already a multi-millionaire from his investments in real estate.

- Said Chris Jericho is very tough because he once got drunk and stood up to Test who Angle said is also a legit tough guy.

- Said that he is responsible for bringing Bobby Lashley to wrestling.

- Said that Christian needs to be a total heel and that they are taking him in that direction now. He also said that Christian needs a long title reign but also needs to learn to take direction better, mentioning that he will have a match of the year with him soon.

- Said he doesn't know if he is currently a face or heel but likes it anyway.

- He said he didn't understand how his Iron Man match with Samoa Joe ended up being so good because he got a concussion in the match.

- Said he had a lot of respect for Hulk Hogan as a businessman and mentioned that he had a five star match with Hogan at the King of the Ring.

- Said that he is a wrestler, agent, and writer with TNA and said that if Big Show comes to TNA, he would make sure he would stay undefeated for a long time.

- Said that Shawn Michaels refused to be moved to the Smackdown brand which is why he ended up being moved there. He said that Vince McMahon told him that Angle was their first choice for the move, but that was a lie. He also said some weird thing about how Shawn Michaels never puts anybody over, but then said that Michaels said he would put over Angle at WrestleMania.

- Said that RVD once admitted to him that he doesn't know how to work a match and just does highspots and then points to himself.

- Said he wants Bubba to become a manager in TNA.

- Said he wants Tito Ortiz on the phone next week on the Bubba Show so they can discuss a potential MMA fight.

- Bubba also said during the interview that Hulk Hogan told him that Dixie Carter was the real deal and that she had backers who could buy and sell Vince McMahon ten times over.

- Bubba said that Hogan told him that he has talked with TNA about coming in.

- Bubba and Angle agreed that TNA should combat WWE by going after big names, just like WCW did.

- Bubba and Angle also agreed to work together to try and get Hogan in TNA.

Umm, no. That's from alcohol consumption over the years. It's called a whisky nose for a reason.

i dont know why they would even try. as soon as they bring in anyone, big name or not, everyone will say "they're just like the old WCW, and are just bringing in old names, blah blah blah, i like to complain, blah blhahbalbala pwned, blbwlblbslbbwleb, i should quit whining and try to do booking for indy shows, blbablablablahblahblh, i have nothing better to do, blablalbalbalb"

I laugh at some of the things being said here. Doesn't sound like Angle at all. Someone must've feed all this line to Angle. Smackdown! and ECW! gets beaten by TNA in ratings?! Scoffing!

Agreed, this definetely has TNA management's fingerprints all over it. And apparently, they already forgot what Hogan did to WCW.

Lead them to dominate the WWE in the Monday Night Wars for an extended period of selectively forgotten time?

Yeah, Hogan played a significant role in WCW's demise, but he also as much, if not a **** load more significant in leading them to own the WWF in the ratings war for a few years.

Not saying Hogan to TNA is a good move though.  Its not a good move in practically every way.

I don't remember who said it around here, but its a great analogy:  Kurt Angle has become wrestling's Tom Cruise.

Ummm, no he didn't. While it's true he led WCW to almost obliterate the WWF, his inability to put new talent over is arguably the top reason why WCW went under. But that's a discussion for another time.

Anyways, Kurt really is acting like he's mentally unstable.

that bump to the head must have knocked a few screws loose.

I wonder if they go back to the four sided ring, will it make Angle normal again?! The six sided ring must've turn him looney!

You missed where he called his match with Hogan a 5 star match.

Kurt needs to tune things down a bit. Hes going overboard in a big way. Alot of that is untrue and just plain stupid. Hes an excellent talent, but I question his backstage antics.

Alot of people might call this egomania. I call it lackofego-mania with a little insanity thrown into the mix. He's a mediocrity in every sense of the word and will go down in history as a mediocrity in ever sense of the word. And he clearly knows it.

And his match with Hogan wasn't that bad, but certainly nowhere near the 4 star zone.

Personally, I'm sick of Angle and his new attitude. He seems to forget that there wouldn't be a TNA  for him to " escape" to if those lower named guys weren't brought in. The AJ Styleses, the Chris Danielsons, the Chris Sabins, ect.  They were the huge draws before TNA decided to focus more on the heavyweight devision and bring in old washups from other federations.  TNA manages to make a show that says  constantly that it's better than WWE without proving it at all. And yes, I know the WWE  doens't push its cruiserweight devision that much at all, but they haven't done that from the start and  it's never been that much of a big draw, unlike TNA's X Division.

But back to Angle.  Bring in Hogan will be their biggest mistake, and it WILL make them the next WCW ( in a bad way).  You see, back win Hogan was brought in to the WCW, there were still creative things you could do with him. He could still be fresh ( as proven with the NWO ). There's nothing you can do with him in TNA and al; he'll do there is draw people for the first few shows he's on and keep everyone in the back down for the rest of his time there. Own, and he can also collect a paycheck.

It's Ironic that TNA stars would say that they should bring in big stars like WCW did, when TNA was formed mainly becuase of the WCW buyout, and the fact that the thing that killed WCW was that WWE was bringing up new stars as opposed to WCW brining in every wash up, every celebrity, every crappy band,, and making every overbooked match that they could plunk down a few hundred grand on.

Funny, I actually wrote " Chris Danielses " but then decided that that was wrong and but " Chris Danielsons "
