Personally, Jimmy Jacobs had the most creative and interesting gimmick ever.

But since none of you care, Cactus Jack in ECW was so amazing. I also have a soft spot for Repo Man.

For current wrestlers, Alberto Del Rio and Cody Rhodes spring to mind. Cody Rhodes' especially is fantastic. Both the "Dashing" gimmick and now the "Phantom of the Opera" gimmick.

And by Phantom do you mean Little Kane? "Thinks" his faced is messed up, wears a mask to hide it....even if it a clear mask....

.................I'm gonna go with some ECW gimmicks.

Taz. The Human Supelx Machine is the most Misserible man on the planet and there is not a damn thing you can do to stop sinc Brotha....he is gonna choke you out. Spawned a bunch of failed copy cats.

RVD the Heel who is jerk to his tag partner, the fans, everybody yet people love him because he is as good as he thinks he is.

The godfather was always fun in an immature way, and I always loved the APA.

CM Punk at the height of SES was fun to watch, especially after they shaved his head. Hmm... Christian back in 05 is probably my favorite of all time and for the first few months of his TNA run, he was amazing. However, it seems he's ditched a lot of the Captain Charisma mannerisms... sad.

Its simply a matter of timing, but in retrospect Muhammed Hassan was the first character in a long time to get that nuclear of heat. If he had arrived at any other point it wouldn't have been as effective, but an Arab American character who hates America because of how they assume he's a terrorist. Brilliant.

2003 CM Punk definitely gets a nod as well. Jacobs is definitely a guy who I'd build a company around, he's one of the few guys I enjoy enough to rewatch his promos. He just that good.

Honestly, I'm not sure it had to do with timing. Post 9/11, any Arab-American character that comes out and says 'I hate America' is going to get a ton of heat. The reason it was so successful though was how good Hassan was at keeping hold of that heat. His mic skills were amazing and his wrestling abilities were great... man, I wish he was still on TV.

Amazing? Great? Not exactly the adjectives I would use.
