Is it supposed to be a one disk set or something, because there isn't a lot there? Unless its going to have a documentary as well.

Looks good. No really terrible omissions from where I sit. They seem to hit the high points of things I'd want to see. All I would really want is more. Might have liked the Hardy-Punk cage match, but that's mostly because I already own that Summerslam... Similar situation for the Jericho match. My personal preference would be for the EC match because I've already got both Punk-Jerichos. Really interested in the OVW match. I remember people raving about Punk's work in OVW under Heyman. That could be a pretty solid match. I'll be all over this.

It's primarily a documentary. Those are just the additional matches that they always add on to Disc 2.

In my eyes, they're all perfect choices. I don't have a lot of WWE DVDs, especially ones that include Punk, but I do already have Cena-Punk and Jericho-Punk saved on my DVR. Regardless, I'm glad they're on the DVD. Maybe would have preferred the Extreme Rules with Jericho over the WrestleMania one, but I can definitely understand why they went with WM.

This line up is fine but I already own all these matches. I'm more interested in the documentary.

I'm just looking forward to this being a change of pace from all the other WWE Superstar documentaries, where they're always protrayed as this almighty hero who's defied all the odds and represents all the good in the world. Judging by the trailer it's more of a honest, realistic approach.

For example, you see his friends saying he can be an a**hole if you don't know him very well. Or how he can either be your best friend or your worst enemy.

Definitely would prefer having Punk vs. Jericho from Extreme Rules there instead of their Wrestlemania encounter, but the list looks pretty solid otherwise. : )

I feel like this DVD is lacking some of Punk's most underrated matches like as good of a match as Hardy vs Punk was it, it doesn't need to be on some many different DVDs.

To be honest, most of Punk's best matches have only been in this past year. And you can only have so many Punk vs Rey Rey matches.

This collection seems to cover every major moment/title win in his career so far.

Didn't he have a good match with Jericho, in a steel cage? They should have added some forgotten gems.

I just think instead of having matches like the WM 24 MITB or the Morrison vs Punk on ECW, could have been more obscure matches like Punk vs Elijah in 2007 at Unforgiven or Judgement Day or maybe Punk vs Morrison vs Miz at Survivor Series, or maybe Jericho vs Punk in the Steel Cage match like pokajabba mentioned.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that match, but that was a great match, and that would be an awesome match to have on this DVD.

Punk hates Elijah. There's no way he'd let him be on his DVD.

When you said Punk-Jericho Steel Cage match, I instantly thought of the Edge-Jericho Steel Cage match.
The Edge-Jericho Steel Cage match ruled.
They should put that match on the DVD just because.

I've always wondered that, too. I feel like for the Superstar Collection DVDs featuring Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, John Cena, etc. that are coming out right now, WWE picks the matches. However, in the case of a full 3-disc set such as this, I'd like to think that the wrestler gets to pick.

I would hope that is the case as well, but I think that is only for superstars at the end of their career like Austin's lastest DVD was all picked by him and Ric Flair's DVD that came out right after he retired was all picked him. So until you're at the end of your career I don't think you get to pick the matches.

Most of the time WWE does it with feedback from the wrestler, but if I remember right Punk has last say on his DVD because it was a clause when he signed a new contract.

Punk green lighted everything on the DVD. Including a lot of his personal friends in the documentary, and some of his favorite bands.

I fully expect The Bouncing Souls.

This is how I feel about wrestling in general, specifically indy wrestling and the indy wrestlers that are now in WWE/TNA.

I've met some people along the way,
Some of them split some of them stay,
Some of them walk some walk on by,
I've got a few friends I'll love till I die
From all of these people I try to learn,
Some of them shine some of them burn,
Some of them rise some of them fall,
For good or bad I've known them all

We live our life in our own way,
Never really listened to what they say,
The kind of faith that doesn't fade away
We are the true believers
We are the true believers.

Hey, where have you gone?
You used to be the one
That we looked up to
Seemed like nothing
Could break you down
How high was the price?
And was it worth it?
Nothing in life is a sure bet anyway
You're gone
I guess you were here from the start
In the end
Its all a question of heart

Hey, where did it go?
Everything we fought for
And everything it meant,
maybe we were just naive
But I still believe
There are only a few things
That really belong
To me, who I am
Who I was
And who I wanna be

Before I knew who CM Punk was, before I saw Joe vs. Punk series...this is exactly how I felt:

I'm driving listening to my radio,
checkin out the airwaves for something to believe in,
gimme something to hold true,
gimme something to sing about.
Gimme a reason to care,
I'll sing along forever

And I'll be honest with you guys, The Bouncing Souls is my favorite band. Its thanks to CM Punk, Matt Sydal, and checking out all their songs talking to Marcin on MSN messenger. He can atest that my MSN login has always been "And it feels like dying, it just feels like time to go" for the longest time. I haven't signed into MSN for a long time (hotmail froze my account or something...idk) but I can guarantee it is still that.

Goodbye to me and you.
Goodbye to the life we knew.
One last long embrace.
Let go and walk on through.

I'm leaving everything behind for a peace that I can't find.
The ghosts that roam this house
like winter air right through our souls.
And it feels like dying.
It just feels like time to go.

And everytime I see CM Punk get overcome with emotion during or after a match (you know, where his eyes get red and it looks like he is about to cry), I think of this...

Ahhh you say you're empty,
stripped away by the pain of broken dreams
All these emotions
clouding up your eyes 'til you can't see
You can't see
You can't breathe
You can't see...

It's like everytime his dream comes true again. Watch MITB '11 for proof.

Night Train is my 124th most listened to track on my last.fm!

I don't listen to them much unless I'm in the car. Then it's usually Night Train, Sarah Saturday, Kids and Heroes, and We All Sing Along.

From CM Punk's twitter:

CM Punk @CMPunk
Just had an advanced screening of my DVD for a select few family members. So proud of it. Working on a lot of cool things for its release.

And from Marty DeRosa's twitter, a good friend of CM Punk's and COMMENTATOR of 5 Dollar Wrestling.

Marty DeRosa @MartyDeRosa
Lucky enough to see the upcoming @CMPunk DVD. It's the Dark Knight of @WWE DVD's. I was blown away and then laughed my ass off at the end.

Marty DeRosa @MartyDeRosa
Tons of @ColtCabana @HeymanHustle @bakeanddestroy @TheCurtHawkins @TrueKofi @AmyDumas Ace Steel and Lars Frederiksen in the new @CMPunk DVD.

Marty DeRosa @MartyDeRosa
@Threejy: @MartyDeRosa @CMPunk "Spoiler request: How much ROH is on there, or is WWE acting like ROH doesn't exist??" Whole lot of ROH!

AT THE END OF THE TRAILER IT SAYS "AVAILABLE NOW"

DO NOT EXPLAIN TO ME THAT BY AVAILABLE NOW MEANS THAT IT'S AVAILABLE TO ORDER OR THAT THE TRAILER ISN'T GOING TO BE USED UNTIL OCTOBER.

I'M PISSED. I WANTED TO WATCH THIS TODAY.

Picked up my copy today. Also grabbed Grand Theft Auto V while I was at Wal-Mart and ran into Miranda Kerr who asked me out to go see The Hobbit next friday. You have no idea how shocked I was.

I'm so excited for The Hobbit.

Most Recognizable Tattoo

Fish Tattoo

Traveling with Ace

No Microphone

Picked up my copy today. Also grabbed Grand Theft Auto V while I was at Wal-Mart and ran into Miranda Kerr who asked me out to go see The Hobbit next friday. You have no idea how shocked I was.

I'm so excited for The Hobbit.
