Last night Stephanie McMahon and John Laurinaitis held a meeting with the Smackdown and ECW talent last night in Cincinnati and announced the following changes in the Wellness Policy:

-The company will begin to test for marijuana shortly. A positive will not result in a suspension but all positives will be met with a fine of, at least, $1000 per offense.

-The company will also begin testing for anti-estrogen drugs, which can be taken to offset some of the effects of steroid and HGH use. A positive for any anti-estrogen agents will result in Wellness suspensions.

-The company also announced that any new potential hires will have to undergo and pass the WWE Wellness test before they are signed to the company.

It's a good thing RVD isn't with 'em anymore -- he'd be broke within a month.

I'm in no way justifying drugs here, however marijuana testing is really pointless in terms of wrestling. I agree with the anti-estrogen tests, because if they are found for having that most likely they at some point took roids, but marijuana is not as harmful as most people think.

The boys are always going to do steroids unless you give them a reason not to ( push people who are not huge). I mean, when you got guys like Helms and Mysterio doing them then it's just sad.

I thank the WWE for that! I've always wanted an anti-drug test. So 1000 dollars for marijuana? That's good enough for me.
