Official WWE Fantasy Season 8 Discussions Thread (Winner-seve15)

(WWE) Prizes:

One (1) Grand Prize consisting of a trip for two (2) and two (2) ringside tickets to Royal Rumble taking place on Sunday, January 28, 2007, in San Antonio, Texas, for the Grand Prize Winner and guest; round-trip coach air transportation from a single major U.S., UK or Canadian gateway airport nearest Grand Prize Winner’s home (as determined by WWE) for Grand Prize Winner and guest to San Antonio, Texas; double occupancy standard hotel accommodations for three (3) nights (at a hotel chosen by WWE); round trip ground transportation from a San Antonio, Texas airport to hotel; and round trip transfers from hotel to event. The Grand Prize Winner will also be awarded his or her choice of a replica championship belt engraved with the team name. The pool of available replica championship belts shall be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion.  All other expenses not included in the prize description above, including, but not limited to, transfer from Grand Prize Winner’s home to airport, taxes, fees, gratuities, meals, room service charges, tips and insurance, will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Travel must be completed on dates specified by Sponsor or Grand Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Specifics of Grand Prize travel package are subject to WWE’s sole discretion. In the event Grand Prize Winner lives within a 100-mile radius of San Antonio, Texas, WWE may, in its sole discretion, substitute round-trip ground transportation for round-trip coach air transportation. Complete terms and conditions of Grand Prize trip will be furnished with prize notification. Travel must be made through Sponsor’s agent on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary. If a Grand Prize Winner is under the age of majority in his or her state of residence as of the date winner is determined, the winner must travel with, and be accompanied by, a parent or legal guardian. Provided that (a) the Grand Prize Winner is at least twenty-one years old; and (b) the parent or legal guardian of any minor guest has executed an authorization form giving their consent and a liability/publicity release on behalf of the guest, the Grand Prize Winner, in WWE’s sole discretion, may travel with a guest who is under the age of twenty-one. In all cases, WWE reserves the right to request proof of age, parenthood or guardianship, and a Grand Prize Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Grand Prize if WWE, in its sole discretion, finds that the proof is unsatisfactory. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize: $5,500 USD. Actual value may vary based on place of departure and dates of travel. 

Four (4) Second Prizes.  The contestants who come in 2nd through 5th place for the Contest Period will each receive four (4) tickets to a live event in the contestant’s local area (“Event”) (the exact WWE Event, Event location, seat location, and date are all subject to WWE’s sole discretion). ARV: $200 USD, each.

Five (5) Third Prizes. The contestants who come in 6th through 10th place for the Contest Period will each receive two (2) tickets to a live event in the contestant’s local area (the exact WWE Event, Event location, seat location and date are all subject to WWE’s sole discretion).  ARV: $100 USD, each. Should a contestant be unable to attend the Event, the prize will be forfeited and there will be no alternative prize.  
 
Weekly Prizes:

One (1) First Prize: The contestant who receives the most points during a Contest Week will receive a DVD and a t-shirt from WWE Shop (selection of DVD and t-shirt is subject to WWE’s sole discretion).  ARV: $29.95 USD.

Nine (9) Second Prizes: The contestants who come in 2nd through 10th place for a Contest Week will each receive a t-shirt from WWE Shop (selection of t-shirt is subject to WWE’s sole discretion). ARV: $25 USD, each. 

Actual prize values may vary based on winner’s place of residence.  No substitution, cash equivalent, barter, transfer, or assignment of any prize permitted, except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, at its sole discretion.
 
ODDS OF WINNING:  The odds of being the WWE Salary Cap Fantasy Grand Prize Winner depend upon the number and skill level of other eligible contestants.

During Season 8, scores will post by the following times:

PPVs: 4 p.m. ET Monday
RAW: 4 p.m. ET Tuesday
ECW: 4 p.m. ET Wednesday
SD: 4 p.m. ET Saturday

What to look for in Week 1:

Monday Night RAW: RAW Family Reunion will be a 3-hour special featuring several past and present RAW Superstars and special guests. Also, Kane will face Umaga in a Loser Leaves RAW Match (which is NOT a Specialty Match).

ECW on Sci Fi: WWE Divas and ECW Vixens will take part in Extreme Strip Poker.

The Fantasy Board has decided that Oct. 10's ECW Strip Poker will be scored as a Specialty Match, but any other decisions will not be made until the Board sees exactly how it works.

Nope you wouldn't have won even if you had a good first week. Seve is certainly strange though. Taker doesn't hsow up for weeks but the one week he shows up, Seve picked him. trick indeed
