get ready for another storyline in which WWE hides a f***up by pretending it's a work. SUch as the whole kidman thing on...chavo guerro? or was it paul london? i don't remember.SwimPUNK
It was on Chavo. Personally, that storyline was the shining light during the dark days of Smackdown and JBL's title reign (not to mention RVD and Mysterio confined to the Tag Division). They managed to take something negative, a botched move that hurt an opponent, and turn it into a compelling storyline that blended reality and story and was actually good for all involved (Chavo was getting good reactions, Kidman had more heat than anyone on Smackdown, and London was actually getting valuable exposure)... until the writers abandoned it and cast it out to Velocity so that Heidenreich and JBL could get more screen time. It was sure as hell a lot more entertaining than the Cena-Carlito-Jesus "Nightclub stabbing" story which was lame on every level.
While no one likes to see botches and people get hurt, they can make for some compelling stories. I don't mind WWE trying to play the botch as intentional, as that protects the botcher. Turning legitimate injuries into storyline plot points is a practice as old as wrestling itself.
Remeber, Chris Benoit got his nickname "The Crippler" from a botched suplex on Sabu, which broke Sabu's neck.
that HAD to hurt, glad he's okim sure juventud didnt mean to hit him like that so he probably said he was sorry behind doors
has Juventud said he's sorry or anything like that?
and when the hell did he get back?!?!?
looks like I'm gonna have to start watching Smackdown now
