Although John Cena calls it a pun, FU can also mean F*** You
Also this shirt can have a dual meaning:
It can be read as U MotherF***er!
Agree or Not
While I do not see the "dual meaning," I do think that this has been discussed in another thread.
If you are referring to the U NO C ME thing on the back, thats an E, sir.
Are you talking to me?Nope, the original poster has no idea what a pun is.[QUOTE="The_Dude14"]You clearly have no idea what a pun is.Link256
Although John Cena calls it a pun, FU can also mean F*** You soulcold1. No ****.
2. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/pun
-noun
1. the humorous use of a word or phrase so as to emphasize or suggest its different meanings or applications, or the use of words that are alike or nearly alike in sound but different in meaning; a play on words.
Brock Lesnar was using the F-5. John Cena starts using a move, while feuding with Lesnar, that carries a number of similarities to the F-5. He calls it the FU, which plays off the F-5, but also is a clear example of the use of a word or phrase to emphasize or suggest its different meanings or applications, which the poster so eloquently stated earlier.
Cena called it a pun because it is a ****ing pun.
As for the "double meaning" of the shirt, clearly you are able to see something we mere mortals do not. The only "double meaning" there is the use of the old AWA logo, which is a recurring theme for Cena.
