Raw i hate to say, but it is really going downhill now. the whole wwe is going downhill from this point on. the whole raw was boring! but im glad that a new match was scheduled for summerslam. Triple H honestly needs to come back and become a face and just kick a whole bunch of peoples asses.

At least they are having a high profile title match on Raw. Its been a while since that's happened, and I expect Bischoff to "stack the deck" against Cena and have Cena "overcome all the obstacles" to retain. They have decided to redo 1998, with Cena playing the poor man's Steve Austin, Bischoff as Mr. McMahon-lite, and Carlito as the random heel. Anywho, its better than another battle of the bands or another poorly written Cena interviewThe_Dude14

Raw was passable this week. Once you get past the top 6 or 7 guys Raw has a severe drop off in talent, as demonstrated with Val "irrelevant for five years and counting" Venis vs Rob "How long till they fire me?" Conway. I was hoping for CM Punk, as he could be huge, but it looks like WWE is content to waste him. Eugene vs Angle is probably the most entertaining feud Eugene has had in his run, because Angle plays off him perfectly. The opening tag was good for what it was. I would have like to seen Shelton booked to look like something more than the bigger wrestlers' whipping boy, but at least he didn't do the job.

HBK's promo was very entertaining. His Hogan parody was pretty on target. However, as a heel promo designed to get the audience to root against you and for your opponent, it sucked. This feud could have been great if they had the heel/face dynamic in place, but apparently someone didn't like that idea.

The main event was heavy on the disappointment. It was just another formula Cena match with an anti-climatic ending. Plus, it made no sense. If Jericho wasn't going to DQ you, why didn't Carlito or Jericho grab a chair and go to town on Cena. Plus, why would a ref go against Bischoff and count the fall. i think ric flair needs to ditch trips. the whole bringing back ric flair so trips can have a manager and feel better about himself cuz he has a legend in his corner.....it's kinda weird. next thing we know, triple h will go all single white female on flair.

This week's Raw was one of the worst I have seen in long time and this coming from a guy who disagree's with most people on here about WWE being at it's worst in entertainment wise (I still say that there have been crapier Raw's and much worse periods in the WWE).

The opening match was probably the best match of the night! That may sound good, but this match was only okay/decent in my book. It was decent enough, but I was upset how they had Shelton Benjamin play the whipping boy for the most of the match. Shelton Benjamin is one of your best tanlents and you to have two low-cards beat him up; okay? :roll:

On the bright side: At least Shelton won the match, even though Big Show got the pin. :(

Why they need to push the Big Show, I have no idea! :( :?

The RDS was crap like usual and personally...movies stars on Raw is not my idea of good time. It is more like my idea of bad time, keep all of these Hollywood types of wrestling. I have never liked and never will!

The Kurt/Eugene was cool, I enjoyed that overall and I am liking their feud. I do not like this trend of WWE of bringing back old WWF superstar to remember the "good old days," but it was good skit overall. By the way, I mean no disrespect towards older superstars, but I think WWE is relying to heavyly on the "good old days" too much and it is getting old with how much we see past WWF Superstars IMHO.

What was the Rob "I am ripping of Buff big-time" Conway vs. Val "been doing nothing" Venis doing on Raw? :?

This is the kind of match that should be on heat, as both are low-cards, not involved in any story-lines and have nothing special about their in-ring skills. By the way, along with ripping off Buff (and being lame with it), did anyone get a vibe that outfit was trying to hint that he is gay?

The whole big announcement was really disappoint and way too damn obvious! So much for that Vince! :(

On the bright side: We have see the last of the whole "Matt is not really post to be here" story-line, about time WWE. :)

The HBK skit was great in the sense of entertainment wise, but in the sense of being heel, it was horrible as the fans were actually cheering and Shawn Michaels is still in this limbo being inbetween a face and heel. This feud between Shawn and Hulk could be great, but the WWE is doing lame job of making HBK as heel, as he gets mixed reactions and they have him say thing that a heel would say and other things a face would say. Make up your mind WWE, which is it, face or heel? Because this limbo of both face and heel in really lame IMHO.

The main event was okay, but I hate how they are trying to make Cena like Austin and Rock characters. Please WWE, do not try to recreate magic, make some new magic instead, that is what us fans want (at least I do). Personally, I love Cena, but I hate how they are having him trying to be like Austin and The Rock. Make Cena be his own character and have him find his own grove. He is not Austin or The Rock, so quit tyring to make him that.

Also, the logic in Y2J being Ref had holes in the story-line. Since Y2J is going to cheat and wants Carlito to win, why didn't he just get some steel chairs with Carltio and do a "Wrestlemania X-7" to Cena?

Raw has been going down hill since the 4th July edition IMHO, I hope it starts to pick up soon.

The Highlights for HBK Were Showing People the Greatest Wreastler Alives Highlights and The Promo was Hilarious About Hogan Brother!!! That Word was Funney the way Shawn Micheals used it

I was at Raw last night and for some reason Big Show got the biggest pop of the night. You could hear his chops from all over the stadium. Also Cena looked like he got hit hard with that camera. Also the had an extra match after the show between Batista and JBL. The crowd went nuts when Batista came out.mja2k3
