Reintegrating ECW.

There are very few people, even within the WWE, that will tell you that WWE's godless resurrection of ECW has been anything but an utter and pretty complete failure, as many people expected. However, this isn't a thread meant to discuss "why." Now I have no idea how Sci Fi feels about ECW and whether or not they'll try and keep it around, but the writing is on the wall that ECW won't be around too much longer.

What this thread is meant to discuss is what to do with the ECW wrestlers? While the ECW brand is a lost cause, there is a lot of talent and potential talent on the ECW brand that can be used by the WWE. Where should they go? What position should they be given on their brand? Is it even worth it to keep them around?

I'd like to see what you think about what the WWE should do with ECW's wrestlers when the ECW brand is gone.

I'll post my thoughts a little later. 

CM Punk should go to Smackdown. While I'd love to see a Punk/Nitro fued, Kennedy/Punk just seems 20x better to me.

RVD should head back to RAW not TNA! He can fued for WWE title seeing as the RAW ME is only four people and two of them always win matches.

Sabu....I say let him go to Smackdown.

Sandman is down with WWE IMHO.

Bobby Lashley is headed to RAW.

Elijah Burke and Monty Cor Van head to RAW into a stable with Shelton ceating a new Nation of domination.

Matt Striker to smackdown. Snitsky to RAW. Both I see not having very big parts of their shows.

Kevin Thorn I say make Mordecai again and be on Smackdown

Bobby Lashley - Obviously he's gonna stay. I could see him going to Smackdown but the WWE is really behind this guy that i wouldn't be surprised if he's main eventing Raw against say Edge while Cena and HBK feud over the title.

Balls Mahoney - Let Go

CM Punk - i personally hope he goes to Raw. i'd love to see a Punk/Nitro feud, and the cream of the crop.....Punk/Edge feud or Punk/HBK feud. but i doubt the latter won't happen and the former is years away.

Elijah - i think he'll go to SD and feud around in the mid card. i could see him and MVP doing something together down the line, not necessarily a feud, but a stable/tag team or smething.

Hardcore Holly - jobbing on SD

Kevin Thorn - OVW

Little Guido - Let Go

Marcus Cor Van - Smackdown, possibly with the MVP/Elijah idea from above.

Matt Striker - OVW

Mike Knox - DSW

Rob Van Dam - hopefully he goes to Raw, but i have a feeling he might not renew his contract.

Sabu - Raw maybe, but eventually let go.

Sandman - Let Go

Snitsky - HOPEFULLY Let Go

as for the "divas," the only one i can see NOT being let go or getting a pointless spot on Raw or SD is Kelly Kelly who will probably go to Raw.

For the sake of argument, I'll work on the assumption that RVD and Sabu will stick with the WWE, even though in reality I don't see either with the WWE by the end of 2007. I'll also work with the assumption that no one's going down to OVW immeadiately.

Bobby Lashley- I think he's better suited for Smackdown, but since it seems he's become Vince's pet project you know he'll be Raw bound and forcefully thrust into the main event picture. Prepare for all your favorite heels to bow before his awesome power.

Elijah Burke- I would say he's Smackdown bound, but I think he could fit in with the midcard of either show. He's definately not ready for anything more. You gotta think the WWE sees potential in this guy. "Potential" usually sees you Smackdown bound.

Matt Striker- Difficult to say. If WWE would start taking him seriously, I can see him making a pretty big jump up the card. Wasn't Michelle McCool also doing n evil teacher gimmick before she disappeared. When she gets back and healthy, I could see them forming an evil teacher relationship on Smackdown.

Monty Brown- Monty's got that "it" factor, he's just got a lot of work in refining it. I don't quite know where he could fit in, which says Smackdown, to me.

Kevin Thorne- His gimmick definately doesn't fit in on Raw, but would seem at home on Smackdown, home of midgets and Boogeymen.

Guido- Back to Cruiserweight purgatory.

CM Punk- I think his personality is better suited for Raw.

Rob Van Dam- His run on Smackdown was one of the low points on his career and I wouldn't see him fitting in any better there now. I don't see WWE ever putting the belt back on him,but they know he matches up well with Raw's top guys and they know that HBK vs RVD can make them some money. Mr. Monday Night just seems more comfortable on Raw.

Sabu- As long as he's with WWE, I think his best bet is to be near RVD. Together they can gel as a tag team whenever they need to. His "hit or miss" s tyle among other things, ensures that he'll never be a headliner, but I think WWE has a place for Sabu.

Holly- Welcome back to Velocity!

Dreamer- I definately see him going back behind the scenes.

Balls Mahoney- I'd say he's either Heat or Velocity bound.

Snitzky- I dunno, back to Raw-Heat, theyhave fewer big men.

Sandman- I don't think WWE has a place for Sandman.

Bobby Lashley - Well, is the spoilers read correctly the remainder of ECW was to push Lashley to the moon and make him superman. I definitely see him going to RAW, probably feuding with Edge.

Balls Mahoney - Heat or Velocity. Which is sad, I like him.

CM Punk - I'm hoping to god RAW. On Smackdown! he'll probably get the Matt Hardy treatment, only without his brother to come and tag up with him and make a name for himself again. On RAW I really hope he'll get a shot at the IC title. I'm pretty sure WWE will keep him face.

Elijah - SD! seems more likely, even though I could see him on Raw. Maybe a feud with Punk after the let down on the new breed. He has the potential for the awsome matches, if only the'll let him.

Hardcore Holly - Maybe a short US title picture run-in, then jobber on SD!

Send CM Punk to RAW, build him up as a heel. Have Benoit put him over once he's there after WM.

 Send Lashley back to Smackdown where he belongs. The brand was being built around him as the the future top babyface before he left.

Send Kevin Thorn to Smackdown. Decent lower/mid card character.

Send Rob Van Dam to Smackdown, since they're in serious need of some credible babyfaces.

Send Elijah Burke to RAW. Turn him heel as the opposition to Cryme Tyme. Bring in Homicide as his partner. (Hey, a man can dream)

Bobby Lashley - will be going to Raw whether we like it or not (Lashley vs. Cena WM24 Main Event). 

RVD and Sabu - I would have RVD in the upper mid card level possible main eventer on either brand with Sabu as US or IC title wrestler (or keep them as a tag team, that would work as well). 

Other ECW Originals - Sandman and Mahoney released while Dreamer takes a backstage job.

New Breed - Cor Von and Burke I would have go after the US Title with Cor Von being moved up to the Main Event fairly soon.  Striker and Thorn I would keep as a team (could make for some pretty funny backstage segments) since they really have nothing better to do right now.

Snitsky - back to Heat as a comedy act PLEASE!

CM Punk - give the type of push Kennedy has gotten going from US/IC Title level with a bright future to upper midcarder getting a few matches with the top teir of wrestlers before he finally breaks through into the main event (like Kennedy will tomorrow when he wins MITB)

Hardcore Holly - I actually like him and would have him go to Raw or SD! as a IC/US level wrestler.

Bobby Lashley - Headed to Raw

Balls Mahoney - He could be in Smackdown but he probablywouldnt have a big role

CM Punk - Smackdown

Elijah - Smackdown

Hardcore Holly - Smackdown probablie not doing much

Kevin Thorn - OVW

Little Guido - He Could go to TNA and have a feud with Latin American Exchange

Marcus Cor Van - Smackdown,probably feud with Benoit for USA Championship
