I'm so pumped  for my first doubleshot. Even though i know in the back of my mind that Danielson isn't dropping the title (or at least i'm hoping he doesn't), i have to say, Joe winning and becoming the first ever two time RoH champ isn't completely inconceivable (Double negative, but i don't really care). A lot of interesting and convincing theories have been thrown around the RoH boards over the past few weeks.

I'm also glad that i get to see Delirious again at the LI show. He isn't booked for Edison. :(

Man, these look like some stacked shows, with 8-5 sticking out with the long awaited Joe-Danielson match.

I have to admit, I'm a little perturbed that Doug Williams won't be wrestling Danielson on either England show yet, but that doesn't necessarily mean he won't.

Team NOAH... hmm?

Wonder what the odds are for Strong and Aires to get through these shows with their titles intact?  Not too good, I'd imagine.

Screw it. I need to get a hold of some tickets for this show. I totally regret not buying a pair when I had the perfect opportunity to do so. If I can't get a hold of some tickets within the upcoming week, I am actually going to go to the venue on the day and try and scrounge for some -- black market price, so be it. Plus, I might actually get a chance to see the talent of the show, you know, on a bus or whatever.

Either way, the UK selling out tickets for the ROH shows shows that there will be more international tours in the future. I doubt it will come as close as 20 minutes away from my house like the one taking place on 8/13.

July 31st: We are back after the big double shot in Ohio and now getting ready for this weekend's big doubleshot on Friday in Long Island and Saturday in Edison. This is the most hectic schedule in ROH history with six shows in three weeks and eight shows in five weeks. How will the ROH roster survive this grueling schedule? Upsets and title changes can happen at anytime during a streak like this. Right now the focus is on Long Island and Edison. We have new matches for both shows in this ROHwrestling.com Newswire.

July 31st: You can easily argue that ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe are the two greatest wrestlers in the world today. This Saturday in Edison, NJ will see an epic clash when we finally have Bryan Danielson vs. Samoa Joe for the ROH World Title. It does not get any bigger than this. Joe has stated that his knee is 100% and he is ready to give the performance of his life this Saturday. The countdown is on for the match of the century. Tickets are now on sale at ROHwrestling.com and by calling 215-781-2500.

July 31st: 8/4 in Long Island back at Sports Plus will see Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal tag up for the first time. They agreed to become a team after their final match against each other last Friday in Dayton, which saw Sydal finally score the big win over Daniels. They will take on a young team that is really impressing here in ROH. This Friday in Long Island will have Daniels & Sydal vs. Irish Airborne!!! This promises to be one exciting match. Will Daniels & Sydal gel as a team? Can Irish Airborne really put themselves on the map with a big victory?

July 31st: Claudio Castagnoli continues to be an outcast in the ROH locker room. In fact, everyone wants a piece of Castagnoli. This Friday in Long Island will see Colt Cabana get his chance. It will be Cabana vs. Castagnoli when ROH returns to Sports Plus.

July 31st: ROHwrestling.com now has the much talked about "Heros Of World Class" DVD that has earned rave reviews. This documentary chronicles the story of World Class and the Von Erich family. Kevin Von Erich gives the most revealing interview ever about what happened with the promotion and his brothers. The documentary also features several of the insiders of World Class including Skandar Akbar, Gary Hart, Bill Mercer, David Manning and others. The DVD also features great highlights of some of the most famous angles and matches ever seen in World Class. This is important wrestling history that every fan should know about. "Heros Of World Class" is now available for immediate delivery at ROHwrestling.com.

July 31st: Jimmy Rave received a concussion and needed seven staples in his head after being hit by Ace Steel's cowbell last Saturday. He is doubtful for this weekend.

July 31st: It will be Colt Cabana vs. Sal Rinauro on Saturday in Edison, NJ. If Rave is able to wrestle he will team with Rinauro against Cabana and a partner of Cabana's choosing.

July 31st: We'll be back tomorrow with new matches for upcoming shows, news from last weekend's Ohio shows and more on the big Long Island and Edison events.

I have just been on ROH's site and they seem to have 'fanslam' tickets for the Broxbourne venue. One question though...fanslam? What would I be getting if I paid £4.50 for the ticket?

A lot of attributes of the forums are glitches right now so we'll just have to wait until the problems get fixed. Once they do, just view the edit history of the thread and copy and past the initial post in a new edit.

August 1st: We know that gas prices are expensive this summer. We know that it is tough to find a bargain in the wrestling world now that certain promotions have jacked up prices. We know that you need to get the most bang for your entertainment dollar. As a thank you for all your support and to help make ROH more affordable to you we are offering $10 general admission tickets now at ROHwrestling.com for this Friday's event in Long Island, NY and this Saturday's event in Edison, NJ. This special sale only lasts until Thursday at ROHwrestling.com so act now. Now you can see Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles, KENTA & Davey Richards vs. The Briscoes and all the other loaded matches in Long Island for just $10!!! You will witness the "Fight Of The Century" on Saturday in Edison when Bryan Danielson defends the ROH World Title against Samoa Joe in what promises to be an epic match for just $10!!! You are going to witness the greatest wrestlers today in huge matches this weekend and now you can see it all for just $10. Go to the main page of ROHwrestling.com for all the details.

August 1st: Samoa Joe sent word to ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson's camp that Danielson better be ready for the "Fight Of The Century" this Saturday at the Inman Sports Club in Edison, NJ. Joe says his knee is ready to go and not only is he coming for the World Title, but also for revenge since Danielson has attacked his knee recently. There is no other way to describe this match other than it will be the "Fight Of The Century" as you have arguably the two greatest ROH World Champions ever and the two best wrestlers on the planet fighting it out for the belt that they both live for. It does not get any bigger than this and now you can witness it for just $10 if you act before Thursday at ROHwrestling.com.

August 1st: Check ROHvideos.com later today for the new ROH Video Recap featuring highlights from last weekend including the No Rope Barbed Wire Match between BJ Whitmer and Necro Butcher plus Lacey's response to internet rumors, a challenge from Aries & Strong, a preview of Danielson vs. Joe and more!!!

August 1st: The buy 3, get 1 free sale on all ROH show, Straight Shootin' and Secrets Of The Ring DVDs will be in effect at both the Long Island and Edison shows so you can save even more money. This match saw Joe suffer a ruptured eardrum and both Danielson and KENTA suffer concussions. This match is brutally stiff. This loaded show sees ROH say farewell to the electric atmosphere of the New Yorker and also includes Homicide vs. Chris Hero in a heated match; the CZW vs. ROH war continues with Adam Pearce vs. Necro Butcher; BJ Whitmer vs. Jimmy Jacobs with one of the most insane endings ever; Austin Aries & Roderick Strong defend the Tag Titles vs. Nigel McGuinness & Colt Cabana in a great match; Jimmy Rave tries to even the score vs. Davey Richards; Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Jason Blade & Sterling Keenan plus lots of promos and more including a bonus match from FIP of Jerrelle Clark & Jay Fury vs. Seth Delay & Chasyn Rance. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for all the details.

August 1st: Things are heating up for ROH's huge return to the Midwest at the end of the month. A huge match has been signed for when ROH finally returns to St. Paul, MN. It will be Austin Aries & Roderick Strong vs. Samoa Joe & BJ Whitmer. If Aries & Strong are still the ROH World Tag Team Champions the belts will be on the line!!! Joe could be the first ever grand slam champion in ROH history and if he wins the World Title this Saturday he could walk out of St.Paul as the first ever double champion in ROH history!!!

August 1st: The Midwest will be a big weekend for BJ Whitmer. Just signed for ROH's return to Chicago on 8/26 is a rematch of two of the craziest matches in ROH history as Whitmer will take on Jimmy Jacobs with Lacey!!! There is no telling what these two will do in Chicago.

August 1st: "Survival Of The Fittest 2006" will take place on 10/6 when ROH returns to Cleveland. This is going to be one loaded tournament. The format will see six single matches in the first half of the show. The six winners will then advance to an elimination match to determine who wins and gets a future title shot of their choice. Already set for the tournament are the previous two winners of Survival Of The Fittest in Bryan Danielson and Roderick Strong. Also signed for the tournament is the man that made it to the finals of each Survival Of The Fittest in Austin Aries. This is going to be one spectacular event. Tickets now on sale at ROHwrestling.com or by calling 215-781-2500.

August 1st: NOAH's SUWA and Go Shiosaki will make their ROH debuts when ROH invades the UK. ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson has expressed interest in defending the belt against one of them in Broxbourne to prepare for 9/16 in Manhattan vs. KENTA. Of course, Danielson must first make it past this Saturday and Samoa Joe. Shiosaki & SUWA could end up wrestling Austin Aries & Roderick Strong or The Briscoes for the Tag Titles in Broxbourne depending on what happens on shows between now and then. Liverpool will have SUWA & Shiosaki vs. Doug Williams & Jody Fleisch and Aries & Strong vs. The Briscoes for the ROH World Tag Titles with the two winning teams fighting for the World Tag Titles in Broxbourne. There are still a few seats available for the loaded Liverpool show. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for details.

August 1st: Homicide will have an opportunity to get revenge on Adam Pearce in both Long Island and Edison. However, Homicide can't lose sight of the fact that he can finally win a ROH title when he competes in Ultimate Endurance in Long Island. What will happen when Homicide steps into the ring with Pearce for the first time after the humiliating attack after Cage Of Death that you can see in the current ROH Video Recap at ROHvideos.com.

August 1st: Check out Colt Cabana on a talk show and some highlights from the last Chicago Ridge show on Chicago's Nude Hippo show now at http://www.rohvideos.com/watch?v=iC3Y71Nr5vU

I thought for sure Aires would be wrestling Danielson here.  My dream of Danielson-Lynn remains alive!Make it happen, ROH!  Also, I really like the sounds of this one, assuming Aires and Strong are still champs (big assumption).

SotF is going to be great this year. why is it that Samoa Joe is ALWAYS the first one eliminated?

i think the finals is gonna be Danielson, Sydal, Richards, Rave, Strong, Homicide. maybe take out Danielson or Strong and add Whitmer or Joe.

I tend to think Aires is a lock to make the finals.  SOTF is kinda his event and his albatross.  It was where he made his impact, but he's yet to win despite being the last man eliminated.  For some reason, I don't see 'Cide being a part of SOTF or the finals.

I think Whitmer and Richards have got to be the front-runners for winning the thing.  Richards apparently changed his name from Jesus or something the way he is hyped and pushed, while Whitmer looks like this year's Roderick.  If 'Cide is in, he also has to be one of the front-runners, because he, too, is getting a Jesus like push.

And Joe always gets eliminated first because its Survival of the Fittest not Survival of the Fattest.  Oh man, that was lame.

August 2nd: Here is what Samoa Joe said about this Saturday's match against Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Title in Edison, NJ: "It's time to remind the children who runs things."

August 2nd: Screw gas prices. We know money can be tight, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the ROH live event experience. ROHwrestling.com has lowered tickets to this weekend's events in Long Island, NY on Friday and Edison, NJ on Saturday to just $10 until tomorrow at 10am. For only $10 you will get to see the best talent in the world in main event quality matches working their hardest for you. You need the most bang for your entertainment dollar. You deserve a night of the best show going today. You don't have to pay a fortune to go out and enjoy yourself. ONLY TEN DOLLARS will get you into ROH live events this weekend. This is the bargain of a lifetime. Act now because the sale ends tomorrow at 10am. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for details.

August 2nd: Friday in Long Island will be a must for AJ Styles fans. Friday will be AJ's last match in ROH for four months and he has stated that he wants to make a lasting impression in Lake Grove on Long Island. AJ wants a match against Samoa Joe so he can try to even the score against Joe, who defeated him in the great Four Corner Survival at "Better Than Our Best." Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles is a main event for any promotion anywhere in the world and now these two rivals will face each other at Sports Plus Entertainment. These two always tear down the house against each other. This match is worth $10 alone!!! Don't miss your last chance to see AJ in a ROH ring for four months.

August 2nd: This is going to be a huge weekend for Samoa Joe. Not only will he be faced with a hungry AJ Styles, who is looking to go out of ROH with a victory, but Saturday in Edison, NJ is the "Fight Of The Century" as Joe challenges for the ROH World Title against Bryan Danielson. These are the two greatest wrestlers in the world and they are going to collide for the richest prize in ROH. Joe's knee is ready to go and Joe is pissed and wants revenge for Danielson's recent attacks on the knee. Joe is called an "ROH Legend" for his 21 month reign that made the belt Danielson wears today into a World Title. When people think of the ROH World Title they think of Samoa Joe. However, now that is beginning to change and Danielson's name is at the forefront when people think of the ROH World Title. Who is the greatest ROH World Champion ever? Who is the best wrestler in the world? You can be there live and see the "Fight Of The Century" for only TEN DOLLARS!!! Will you really be able to forgive yourself if you miss this show for only $10? Act now at ROHwrestling.com because the $10 tickets are gone tomorrow at 10am.

August 2nd: Check ROHvideos.com later today for the new ROH Video Recap with highlights from the BJ Whitmer vs. Necro Butcher No Rope Barbed Wire Match and exclusive promos with ROH's top stars.

August 2nd: There are lots of great non-ROH releases now at ROHwrestling.com. Check the New Releases section for SHIMMER Vol. 4 featuring MsChif vs. Cheerleader Melissa in a wild Falls Count Anywhere Match, Rebecca Knox vs. Daizee Haze and much more. Many people are calling this the best SHIMMER DVD yet. The famous 1995 IWA King Of The Death Match Tournament from Japan with Cactus Jack and Terry Funk is now out on DVD and available at ROHwrestling.com. This is the historic show that really put death match wrestling on the map. ROHwrestling.com also has "The Very Best of GLOW- Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" on DVD. "Before They Were Stars Vol. 2" features matches from the 2001 King Of Indies tournament that influenced ROH. Check it all out plus the latest from Ring Of Glory, NOAH, FIP, WWE, TNA, IWR, The Matt Hardy Show and more at ROHwrestling.com.

August 2nd: Here is what they are saying about The Milestone Series: "Ring of Honor's seven show Milestone Series redefines what can be accomplished in modern wrestling. Not since the NWA's Great American Bash tour of 1986 has a series of wrestling shows had more outstanding matches and storylines featuring the top wrestlers of the day." - Derek Burgan. You can read Burgan's review of the entire series at: http://f4wonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2089&Itemi

August 2nd: ROH Tag Team Champion Austin Aries earned a shot at the ROH World Title by defeating Bryan Danielson in a Four Corner Survival last Friday in Dayton. Aries will receive a World Title shot, no matter who the champion is, when ROH returns to East Windsor, CT for the first night of "Glory By Honor V" weekend on September 15th. Both nights of "Glory By Honor V" weekend are going to be can't miss events. Tickets for 9/15 in New England and 9/16 in Manhattan are now for sale at ROHwrestling.com or by calling 215-781-2500.

August 2nd: Shane Hagadorn will defend the Top Of The Class Trophy on Saturday against Bobby Dempsey.

August 2nd: Jay & Mark Briscoe have been studying tapes in anticipation of their match against KENTA & Davey Richards this Friday in Long Island. This could be the most explosive tag team match in ROH history. For the first time in his United States career KENTA is looking to get some payback as The Briscoes jumped him in Chicago. Davey Richards knows the pressure is on and will excel when he teams for the first time as KENTA's American protege. Jay & Mark Briscoe have been absolutely awesome on recent shows and could be recognized soon as the best tag team in the world, but first they need a win here so they can be back on the path to the ROH World Tag Team Titles held by Austin Aries & Roderick Strong. This will be hard-hitting, athletic action at its best this Friday at Sports Plus!!!

August 2nd: Ok, we are going to say it one more time just so you realize that for only $10 you will see the top and most exciting wrestlers in the world like Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, KENTA, Colt Cabana, Christopher Daniels, Homicide, Nigel McGuinness, Jack Evans, Matt Sydal, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, BJ Whitmer, The Briscoes, Adam Pearce and many, many more. That's right, for only $10 you will see a great night of wrestling with quality matches from the opening contest to the main event. However, the $10 offer is only good until tomorrow at 10am at ROHwrestling.com so act now or you will miss it. Will you ever forget the regret if you miss all this for only $10?

Man, they are really pushing that $10 thing.  Davey Richards better watch out, he may end up jobbing to it.

the 8/13 show just got a whole lot better...:P

The next match for the Sold Out Sunday August 13th Ring of Honor event at the Broxbourne Civic Hall was announced today. Patrick Lennon’s Fighting Talk Column in the Daily Star exclusively revealed that it would feature the loser of the ROH Tag Team Title match between Austin Aries and Roderick Strong against The Briscoes taking on the team of Matt Sydal and ECWA Super 8 winner Davey Richards. This will give fans in Broxbourne one of two potentially mouth watering confrontations.

Potential Match Number One
Matt Sydal and Davey Richards Vs Austin Aries and Roderick Strong

Or

Potential Match Number Two
Matt Sydal and Davey Richards Vs The Brisoces

Either of these two matches would be an awesome bout and let’s not forget that the team that doesn’t face Sydal and Richards will be defending their ROH Tag titles against the winners of Team NOAH Vs Doug Williams and Jody Fleisch from the night before in Liverpool also.

ROH Tag Team Title Match
Austin Aries and Roderick Strong/ Or The Briscoes
Vs Doug Williams and Jody Fleisch/ Or Team NOAH

This will give fans two guaranteed great tag matches at Broxbourne on August 13th.

August 3rd: Tomorrow (Friday) is the big one when ROH returns to the Sports Plus Entertainment Center on 110 New Moriches Road in Lake Grove, New York with a zip code of 11755. Belltime is 8pm and there will be tickets available at the door on the night of the show. This card is so stacked from top to bottom that the ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson will be in the opening match as he takes on Jack Evans. Even though this is non-title it is a golden opportunity for Evans, who could earn a future title shot with a victory here. Past Danielson vs. Evans encounters have seen Danielson twist Evans like a pretzel. What kind of submission will Danielson pull out on Friday and can Evans survive it?

August 3rd: After Long Island we will all head to the Inman Sports Club on 990 Inman Avenue in Edison, NJ with a zip code of 08820 for the "Fight Of The Century" this Saturday when Bryan Danielson defends the ROH World Title against Samoa Joe. Belltime is 7:30pm and there will be tickets available at the door. Both Danielson and Joe have spent extra time training and watching tapes this week. Joe has been trying to develop reversals for Danielson's recent use of the small package. Danielson believes that his small package is so effective that he wants to be known as "Mr. Small Package." Both these competitors know that expectations are high for this one and they are coming to blow you away. This will truly be the "Fight Of The Century" this Saturday in New Jersey.

August 3rd: The new ROH Video Recap is up at ROHvideos.com. Check it out for highlights of the No Rope Barbed Wire Match between BJ Whitmer and Necro Butcher, a look at Danielson vs. Joe, recent highlights of KENTA from shows that aren't even released yet, plus lots more including a new challenge from ROH World Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong. Also now at ROHvideos.com is the complete Jimmy Jacobs with Lacey vs. Trik Davis match from Dayton last Friday. Watch all this and much more for FREE at ROHvideos.com.

August 3rd: We are looking to make ROH shows as affordable as possible for you so the buy 3, get 1 free sale on all ROH show, Straight Shootin' and Secrets Of The Ring DVDs will be in effect at the live events this weekend in Long Island and Edison.

August 3rd: If you want to check out ROH for dirt cheap make sure to take advantage of the clearance sale on ROH show VHS now at ROHwrestling.com. You can now get ROH shows for $3-$8 including some events from late 2005 and early 2006. Act now because we are almost sold out. This is your chance to check out ROH for cheap including 2/11/06 "Unscripted II" with the huge surprise return, 1/28/06 "Tag Wars 2006" with Bryan Danielson & Jay Lethal vs. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong, 1/14/06 "Hell Freezes Over" with AJ Styles vs. Matt Sydal, 11/19/05 "Night Of Tribute" with Bryan Danielson vs. Christopher Daniels, 10/15/05 "Buffalo Stampede" with the wild No DQ Generation Next vs. Embassy war, 10/14/05 "Enter The Dragon" with Bryan Danielson's first World Title defense as he takes on Austin Aries, "Second Anniversary Show" with three CM Punk and AJ Styles matches plus much more. Act now because once they are gone from ROHwrestling.com they are gone forever.

August 3rd: This weekend marks the return of Ultimate Endurance as ROH World Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong will be faced with six different teams over the course of the weekend. ROH officials have flip flopped the stipulations of the falls. Here are the rules of Ultimate Endurance. There will be four teams starting in an elimination match. The first fall with all four teams will now be under Tag Team Scramble rules meaning that no tags are needed. The second fall with the remaining three teams will now be Tap Out rules. The final fall with the remaing two teams will be for the ROH Tag Team Titles. ROH officials decided to make the first fall a Tag Team Scramble since it will have all four teams thus giving it the most action.

August 3rd: Long Island's Ultimate Endurance will have BJ Whitmer & Adam Pearce vs. The Embassy of Jimmy Rave & Sal Rinauro vs. The Rottweilers of Homicide & Ricky Reyes vs. ROH World Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong. There are a lot of interesting stories to watch in this one. How will Whitmer react to being Pearce's partner after Pearce's attack on Homicide? What will happen when Pearce and Homicide step into the ring against each other for the first time since the whipping after Cage Of Death? How will Aries & Strong handle their old rivals, The Embassy, but with a new member in Rinauro? Will we finally see a clear winner between The Rottweilers and The Embassy after what happened last time in Long Island? Can Aries & Strong make it past these three hardnosed teams and keep the belts? Will Homicide finally win his first title in ROH? Be there tomrrow night to find out!!!

August 3rd: Saturday's Ultimate Endurance in Edison has four of ROH's most innovative and high-flying teams. It will be Aries & Strong vs. Irish Airborne vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Matt Sydal & Jack Evans. This one promises to provide fast-paced action. Can The Briscoes finally win the World Tag Titles back? What will happen when Sydal & Evans square off with former Generation Next teammates Aries & Strong? Can Irish Airborne score the big upset? Don't blink or you will miss something in this match.

August 3rd: We will announce the huge stipulation of the Liverpool August 12th main event pitting ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson vs. ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness next week after the results of this weekend's Long Island and Edison shows. Danielson vs. McGuinness is quickly becoming the best wrestling rivalry of the year as the two once again tore the house down against each other last Saturday in Cleveland. ROH is coming to make an impact for its first UK shows. There are still seats remaining for Liverpool and you can check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for all the info. Liverpool will feature ROH's hottest rivalries and one of a kind international matches like NOAH's Go Shiosaki & SUWA vs. Doug Williams & Jody Fleisch. We will have much more on this event all next week in the ROHwrestling.com Newswire. England has asked for authentic ROH shows and we will be bringing the goods in a little over a week.

August 3rd: The second match was announced for the already sold out Broxbourne event on 8/13. It will be the loser of The Briscoes vs. Aries & Strong 8/12 match vs. Davey Richards & Matt Sydal. Either match up could steal the show!!!

August 3rd: Things will start really taking shape for "Glory By Honor V" weekend on 9/15 in East Windsor, CT and 9/16 with the debut at the Manhattan Center next week. We will have match announcements for both shows in next week's ROHwrestling.com Newswire including Naomichi Marufuji's opponents on both nights.

August 3rd: "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels told ROH officials that he is really looking forward to teaming with Matt Sydal for the first time tomorrow night when the duo takes on Irish Airborne. Daniels believes that he and Sydal can be the next ROH World Tag Team Champions. They will be faced with the promising duo of Irish Airborne, who have passed some tough tests lately including hanging with The Briscoes and the former Generation Next. Daniels also hasn't forgetton that Claudio Castagnoli turned on ROH just hours after Daniels gave Castagnoli his first handshake in ROH at "The 100th Show." Daniels will get to step into the ring with Castagnoli for the first time since the handshake this Saturday in Edison when they compete in a Four Corner Survival that also features Jay Lethal and ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness. This looks to be a big weekend for "The Fallen Angel" as he comes to Long Island and Edison.

Holy crap...my first ROH show awaits in just a matter of a week and two days...

Yup, I got the tickets folks! Ring of Honor August 13th here I come!

For a cheap £28.50 (including P&P), I whipped up an unbelievable deal on eBay for two ROH tickets for the Broxbourne Civic Hall show taking place in a week Sunday. These seats are surprisingly great too considering the face value of each ticket was worth £25 (excluding booking fees too!).

After getting in contact with the seller, I should be getting the tickets via post within the first couple of days of the following week.

Lmao, Rave's shirt is priceless.

Well I watched Straight Shootin with Punk & Cabana and it was pretty funny, and extremely interesting. IMO, not as funny as Punk & Joe's shoot, but it still had its moments and awesome stories. I reccommend both of those shoots.

I'm thinking that I'm gonna get the RoHomicide shirt.

And to Dude's post, that's the reason I haven't been paying much attention to ROH lately. :( I knew I shouldn't have looked at this thread, because it looks like I'll be getting some DVDs. Nowhere to Run, Sign of Dishonor, and Fate of an Angel are mine.

I'm the result guy today? Cool, the D-Team is here!

1) Shane Hagadorn retains the Top Of The Class Trophy.

2) Bryan Danielson defeats Jack Evans via submission. Post match, KENTA runs in but gets jumped by the Briscoe brothers. Davey makes the save.

3) Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal defeat Irish Airborne. Sydal hit a standing moonsault, followed immediately by Daniels hitting the Best Moonsault Ever for the pinfall.

4) Colt Cabana defeats Claudio Castagnoli via rollup. The ending was the same ending of Cabana-Punk from P:TFC.

5) ROH World Tag Team Championships - Ultimate Endurance. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong vs Homicide & Ricky Reyes vs Adam Pearce & BJ Whitmer vs Jimmy Rave & Sal Rinauro

- The Embassy of Jimmy Rave & Sal Rinauro have been eliminated first.
- Adam Pearce & BJ Whitmer are disqualified, eliminated.
- Austin Aries & Roderick Strong defeat Homicide & Ricky Reyes to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships.

- Steve Corino returned to ROH and attacked Homicide, so thus begins the build to the next Homicide vs Corino war!

Steve Corino and Homicide continued the brawl as the show comes back. Adam Pearce attacked Homicide. Corino and Pearce were brawling with Homicide when BJ Whitmer ran in...to aid Homicide!

6) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Nigel McGuinness defeats Delirious.

7) Jay & Mark Briscoe defeat KENTA & Davey Richards after a Spike Jay Driller on Davey Richards.

8.  Samoa Joe defeats AJ Styles.

i think i'm gonna skip buying this show. Long Island fans suck.

well this was announced for tonight.

Last night in Long Island Steve Corino made his surprising return to ROH. Corino attacked Homicide and cost him the World Tag Team Titles. There was another altercation between Corino and Homicide in the second half the show.

As a result, there is a change in tonight's lineup as ROH returns to the Inman Sports Center in Edison, NJ. The originally scheduled Homicide vs. Adam Pearce match has now been changed to a tag team grudge match.

It will be Homicide and a partner to be named at the show against Steve Corino & Adam Pearce!!! Homicide and Corino are set to face each other in a ROH ring for the first time in 2006 TONIGHT in Edison, NJ. One of ROH's most legendary feuds is back on!!!

There will be tickets available at the door and belltime is 7:30pm. Check the events section of ROHwrestling.com for more info.

Plus, the show totally has the feel of, like, a Raw before a PPV.

Don't let the opinions of a few whiny, elitist douchebags over at the RoH boards keep you from buying the DVD. It was a great show, top to bottom, and the crowd wasn't nearly as bad people are saying they were. Certainly not enough to destroy the show. Danielson/Evans, Claudio/Cabana, Nigel/Delirious, KENTA/Richards vs. Briscoes, and AJ/Joe were all good - great matches that are worth going out of your way to see.

Coming from a guy who's been to every LI show from GBHIV on, last night's crowd wasn't anywhere close to touching the **** crowds from the last 3 LI shows.

Thanks for the report.  Believe me when I say I trust your word a lot more than the ROH forums.  Though, the whining about the crowd has very little bearing on my not being too interested in the show

I hope you enjoy tonight's show as well.  I hope you'll let us know how things go, because I am really intertested in this show.  Living vicariously is better than nothing, I guess.

8 ) ROH World Championship: Samoa Joe vs Bryan Danielson ends in a Time Limit Draw.

"MOTYC". Joe and Dragon go 60 minutes. Afterwards, they teased giving the fans 5 more minutes, but Danielson refused. KENTA came out to confront Dragon, but the Briscoes attacked. Homicide and Samoa Joe made the save.

On September 16 in New York City, the following tag team match will happen:

Samoa Joe & Homicide vs Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe

i can't wait to see this match.

Joe & Dragon went 60 minutes? Hell yeah. If it's anywhere close to as good as Punk/Joe 2(which I expect, since this wasn't exactly a dropoff of talent), I need to find that match as soon as possible.

Edit - According to the Observer, it was a little slow in the middle, so it probably won't get 5 stars...but, it should be at least 4. :|

Well, longer does not necessarily mean better, which seems to confuse some people (especially on the ROH forums), its hard to believe that 60 minutes of Joe vs Danielson could be a bad thing.  This looks like a definate "must-have."

[QUOTE="_Muta"]Don't let the opinions of a few whiny, elitist douchebags over at the RoH boards keep you from buying the DVD.

Coming from a guy who's been to every LI show from GBHIV on, last night's crowd wasn't anywhere close to touching the **** crowds from the last 3 LI shows.The_Dude14

Just got back from Edison. Awesome show. Undercard was decent enough. KENTA/Davey and Joe/Dragon were both MOTYC.

Joe and Dragon was friggin insane. I marked out completely throughout the entire thing. When someone in my section said "55 minutes have passed", i was like, WTF? The quickest hour of my entire life, and a testament to just how awesome it was. Their best match, by far. Leagues above their match at Midinight Express Reunion. Great crowd tonight too which added to the awesome atmosphere of Joe/Dragon. The near falls were so insane and well done. At times, i truly thought Joe was going to do it. (Same with Davey in KENTA/Davey)  Definitely up there with Joe/Punk II and the great classic 60 minute time limit draws in general.

Dragon dove right onto Joe in my area. :) It was hilarious, everything became so chaotic that half the people just stood for the rest of the match after that spot. Dragon actually hit some guy's girlfriend really hard who didn't get out of the way in time.

Gabe posted this on the forums...

I wanted to post this before tomorrow's newswire comes out since ROH will never be the same after this Saturday's event in Liverpool.

The main event of ROH's debut in the UK on Saturday in Liverpool will see the World and Pure Title unified. There is a press conference in the next ROH Video Recap that will name the rules. Here is a preview:

-The bout will feature ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson vs. ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness.

-The match will be contested under Pure Title rules so the rope breaks will be in effect and the Pure Title can change hands on DQ and countout, but the World Title can also change hands on a DQ or Countout.

-There will be no time limit.

-In the event of a double DQ or double countout, the match will be restarted.

ROH will never be the same after Liverpool. The first title change of 2006 is GUARANTEED to take place on this event.

Liverpool could see the largest crowd in ROH history. There are still tickets available. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for details. Be part of history!!!

I guess we can finally chalk up the Pure Title as a failed experiment, sadly.  It wasn't without merit.  Quite a bombshell, though and raises the stakes in a major way.

In the event of a double DQ or double countout, the match will be restarted.Gabe Sapolsky

If that happens, please, please, please, have a booked rematch for the Broxbourne Civic Hall show the night after. Seriously, the Liverpool venue has got me drooling over its current card and the main-event is a match I want to see pan out live. Still though, the 8/13 show is shaping up well with the two tag team matches on offer as well as Rave vs. Cabana.

Oh and Gary, I bought four rolls of pink toilet paper for a cheap 99p! What a bargain! Rave will be pleased.

I like how KENTA is touring with ROH. More NOAH and Dragon Gate stars should do the same.
