What a joke of a Super Bowl. You have the gutless Colts who probably would be playing for perfection if they had some balls. And you have the wussy Saints who played ONE game under 50 degrees this season. Why they need a dome in Louisiana, I'll never know. Must be so they can pump some added crowd noise through the speakers.

I wanted the Cardinals to win with the 4 teams that were left. After that, the Vikings. Now, I hope the Colts win. I don't want to hear the naive and ignorant media reports that will inevitably follow if the Saints win. Some of their players "play" more like street thugs than football players, too.

Saints. I can't stand Peyton and the goody-goody Colts. It's time for an ACTUAL team to win the big one.

Which I guess explains why they're in the Superbowl and not one of the 30 teams at home.

Are you serious? A little Lion King **** is gonna talk back to me? Even the die-hard Colt fans will agree that they are gutless. They got booed by their own fans after taking their starters out when they were 14-0. Makes no sense. If they had guts they could very well be playing for perfection on Sunday. Now it's just another Super Bowl that will be forgotten in 3 years. Just like the Colts last Super Bowl. That was an awful game.

Hey at least Belichick had the guts to go for perfection. He wasn't resting his starters three weeks before the playoffs. I guarantee that if Brady was fully healthy for the SB against the Giants the Pats would have dumped on them. They lost on a fluke drive with a half healthy team. Not to mention all the clock errors that just happened to go the Giants way. Can't wait until September when the Pats begin raping everyone.

WHAT the heck are you talking about, I think it matters more that you would rest your players, then them getting injuried.

But I guess some people know that and some people don't. :?

I didn't realise this was so popular in the UK. It's actually being shown live on regular TV here, a 10:55 PM start. I can't recall this ever being on UK TV before.

Bret Hart posted the following on his official Facebook page:

Anyhow, as for the Super Bowl on Sunday between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints, I've
decided after great deliberation to pull for the Saints but I think
Manning will pull it out of the fire. Most importantly, I hope it's
close anyway.

Do they really expect me to watch Undercover Boss? I spose its not as annoying as the Mentalist, last year, but there's still a long way to go.

This game doesn't look like its even going to be close.

I will be SHOCKED if the Saints can hold the Colts to only one TD in the 2nd half ('course they held 'em to NOTHING in the 2nd Quarter, I just don't think it'll hold up).

I'll be a little surprised if the Colts don't get that score on the opening possession.

I expect the Colts to make the adjustments and the Saints won't.

I just don't believe in the Saints on any level. But that hasn't stopped them, yet.

Well, color me shocked.

I watched it happen and I still don't quite believe it. I haven't believed in the Saints all playoffs long, but that doesn't seem to stop 'em. Teams much better than the Falcons don't play the Saints nearly as well as the Falcons. They got some breaks, but they definately made the plays, espcially today. Good for them. Now its time to hear about how great this is for all of New Orleans. Maybe it is. Certainly alcohol sales down there are going to boom,

Certainly one of them symbolic wins, in similar vain to the Patriots in 2002.

By the way, is there anyone complaining about officiating for this game?

I did not watch the game. I am not a football fan. I was just wondering, because there "always" seems to be cries of foul with these kind of things. For example, the ordeal a couple weeks back.

It seemed more legit than the Cardinals vs Saints game. The referees at that game were ridiculous, the Saints were playing like street thugs.

I've heard various things from people though about the officiating, and even claims that Manning was paid off to throw the interceptions. I myself viewed a drastic change in how he threw, but I wouldn't go that far. His passes were laser-straight. The Colts were steam rolling the Saints at first, then the team just started doing worse...for seemingly no reason?

Guess that explains the MVP awards.

September-November I'll take Manning. However, December-Ferbruary when it matters most, I'll take Brady without a doubt.

3 Super Bowls/1 MVP>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>1 Super Bowl/4 MVPs

You have to admit that Manning chokes when it matters most.

The reason I hate Manning is because he gets credit where credit isin't due. All he does is make commercials and win games against teams that anyone with three super-powered wide recievers can beat. And last I checked, Brady has three rings. I'm pretty sure he's not going to be put in history for his MVP awards. Anyways, here's hoping Manning's praising gets knocked down a peg and he gets put back in his place.

Why are you putting words in my mouth? All I said was that I think 3 SBs and 1 MVP is better than 1 SB and 4 MVPs.

And Brady is better than Manning.

It's official, last night's Super Bowl 44 is now the most watched TV show of all time. Neilson has estimated that 106.5 million people watched the event, last year's event brought in 98.7 million viewers. The Super Bowl also surpassed the 1983 M*A*S*H finale, which had been a landmark as far as TV ratings go. That show pulled in 105.97 million viewers in an era when there were fewer television sets.

WOW, and with open eyes when I say that. I was one of those people that view the event and I like it. The team I picked won and I'm happy for them. New Orleans needed something on the ever recovering city. This will give them a bigger boost and hope to the city once again.

Lol at everyone calling it the most watched program of all time. In America, yes it is. Worldwide? Not even close. The World Cup final in 06 was watched by about 2 billion people. The UEFA final was watched by 200 million people. So calling the SB the most watched show ever is ridiculous.

Actually, the World Cup Final in 06 was watched by about 715 million people, not 2 billion. But, you are still right when you say it's more than the Super Bowl.

The M*A*S*H finale is still more impressive since it drew slightly less viewers in a time when there were less television sets and when it was harder to get the right channels, and when DVRs weren't counted.
