I am curious to know what people everyone thinks needs a push. I think Christian needs a huge push. The only thing I see missing from him is a better finisher. He does that and he can be on top.

His finisher is fine. It's almost the same thing as a pedigree, just set up differently.

But yeah, I'll answer with the same two guys I answer with every time -- Paul London and Christian.

Okay...

  • Christian. Awesome on the mic and a great heel. Crowd reaction is what makes a top superstar. His wrestling is decent but not top quality IMHO. I think he needs to get in a major storyline and get a push from there.
  • Shelton Benjamin. Put him with anyone in the ring and he'll make a top match out of it. Screw the lead up. Look when he was randomly put against Angle. That was a fine match and he was great with th crowd. I really want to see him with the WWE Title and also some mic time for him to develop more on his mic skills.

  • Shelton Benjamin: Great Wrestler. He'll put any champion to their limits, he was a good champion, and losing to Carlito was lame.
  • Rey Mysterio: He's been a crappy story-line. And he's been in some bad matches, and he needs a serious push.

Right now, if you want Christian and Shelton to be champs, they better step up their game. Shelton more than Christian. And most non-brawlers like Shelton don't get World Titles.

Christian's finisher is a bit lame as it is a pain to set up. He needs something he could pull out of now where. That's why I love the stunner, rock bottom and RKO. But he definately needs a huge push. Some one like rey gets screwed when they have these big men like kane and big show. Shelton is wasted as well. The bring back the intercontenintal title but don't even use it really.

Well, I'v eaten and my mood has improved, so I'll go into a bit more detail:

Here are the guys that deserve pushes:

  • Rob Van Dam: When RVD gets back from injury, he deserves a huge push and get him into the main event that he belongs. He's been used and abused for far too long.
  • Christian: He's one of the hottest commodities on Smackdown or Raw, but he's been Captain Jobber. WWE is totally screwing him over. He should at least be in the US, if not the World Title hunt.
  • Booker T: This guy was a 5 time WCW champion, when was the last time he even sniffed the main event. He's directionless, even though he picked up several wins over Angle. He should at least be in the US Title hunt.
  • Rene Dupree: A little over a year ago, he was predicted to be the breakout star of the draft, now he's a staple of the weekend shows, even though he's improved his in ring skills. His "French therefore evil" gimmick draws a lot of heat. He should be in the IC Title hunt. Though, his new look is just too goofy. He looks like he should be tying damsels in distress to railroad tracks.
  • Shelton Benjamin: He's been directionless since WWE abandoned his feud with Carlito, and at least deserves a real feud. He's not ready for the main event, but he could benefit from a feud and the opportunity to work on his mic skills.
  • Paul London: Give him a ladder match, just one ladder match (and let him use his damn high flying moves WWE!!!) and the number of London marks on this board will double, guaranteed.
  • Big Show: Needs a heel turn, but should be doing more than squashing midget jobbers by the dozen. He can be an overwhelming force as a heel
  • Kane: Get him the hell away from the Matt Hardy-Edge. Turn him heel, and do your best to make him a monster. I'd still recomend moving him to Smackdown and putting him over the Undertaker (where his descent into suck started) and try to restore his monster prescense.

Mid 40s. But thts only with his magic potion he got from Hogan.

Hogan with his potion is in his late 40s. Without it he is precisely 29866 years young. He was Jesus' 13th Apostle. he betrayed him, not Judas you know.

anyways i think Christian needs a push. He has awsome mic skills and a great fan base that should make him a good champ. I also think Edge needs a push...i don't know why but i just want him to use his contract already and i think he to would make a great champ as a heel

When ROB VAN DAM returns he definatly needs a huge push. I'm sick of him being held back.
