The October 1 edition of Raw reportedly recieved a 2.5 rating, the lowest RAW rating since 1997. This past RAW, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon let out his frustrations backstage and fired Brian Gewirtz, WWE's headwriter for 13 years as well as threatened the rest of the creative team with the same fate if things didn't begin to change.
Also, CM Punk struck a fan near the end of this past RAW after being run out of the ring by Cena and Ryback and into the crowd. Thankfully someone recorded the incident on their phone and uploaded it to YouTube.

As far as Punk goes, I hope he isn't punished by having his title reign end before it's intended to but there will undoubtedly be a lawsuit coming WWE's way and Punk will be far from innocent.
Now for VInce, could this be the sparking of the renaissance that the WWE has so desperately needed? I'd like to think so.
