Otherwise know as pet-peeves.

For example, pet-pevee of mine has always been when one wrestling company talks about another. I am looking at you TNA and ROH.

I understand that, but it doesn't bother me nearly as much, except when it goes overboard (VKM). As a matter of fact, I think it annoys me a little more when a company will ignore the history a guy had elsewhere. For instance, this Rey Mysterio unmasking storyline is super annoying to me.

Plus, I'm curious, did you complain when DX "invaded" WCW?

I mentioned it in the Smackdown thread, but one of my bigger ones is the "knock a guy off the apron" spot in a Triple Threat match.

In all honesty, I think it would be best served just to not have that story to begin with.

Otherwise, got any other examples?

While I was not exactly cool with it, what I will give you is that it was, thankfully, brief, and had some commical relief to it. At best, I would considered it to be the super exception to the rule. Otherwise, I would be more than happy to do away with DX "invasion" on WCW, for starters, it meant not having to hear ROH mention WWE every other minute.

Nothing nearly as annoying as that particular story, off the top of my head, but little things like treating a match like Benoit-Booker like it had never happened before always kind of irritated me. In general, ignoring history, whether within or outside the company irritates me.

  • ROH's crappy production
  • TNA's rulebook
  • Crappy formulas in ladder matches

What I mean by this is how a lot of ladder matches have terrible structure.

-Set up spot, do spot. Set up spot, do the spot. Set up spot, do the spot. Rest. Set up another spot, do the spot. Try selling how brutal the match is by laying on the mat and getting up for 2 minutes. Set up obvious spot for later on. Set up another spot, do the spot. Rest for 5 minutes. Final spot.

Ever watch the Edge vs Christian ladder match? Perfect example of this.

  • When triple threat and fatal four way matches become "have only two guys in the ring and wait for my turn" matches.

Speaking on the subject of matches...

  • Handicap matches where the side with the so called "disadvatage" wins

Nothing nearly as annoying as that particular story, off the top of my head, but little things like treating a match like Benoit-Booker like it had never happened before always kind of irritated me. In general, ignoring history, whether within or outside the company irritates me.The_Dude14
While you hear what you are saying, at the same time, I rather not have situations such as 1997 WCW, where, for example, you had Roddy Piper and Hulk Hogan feuding over things that happened 12 years ago.

Come on, you know I did not mean that in literal terms. And whatever the case, the point stands.

Whenever any PPV is referred to as "The Greatest Event in the History of our Sport"... it just lost all meaning to me many many years ago.

And again, with the convenient missing history. Benoit, I understand to a point, but for example, when Bret Hart left for WCW, I dont remember him being mentioned after DX did the whole midget skit, up until he was put in the Hall of Fame.

One person dominating a match, then the underdog doing a quick rollup - and the person who dominated for 10 minutes cant break free.

Lack of Clean finishes (Especially WWE)

WWE's Tag Division

Michael Cole calling a Batista match (SPINEBUSTER!!!)

Beth Phoenix and Awesome Kong having to wrestle down to the opponents level. It makes them look silly.

Throwing in a bunch of guys last second to make a Triple Threat/Fatal Four Way Main event.

TNA Security breaking everything up

Any reference to the words "TNA MANAGEMENT"

HOT TAGS (for once I'd love to see it just shut down lol)

Handicap Matches when the team of two lose.

Hot Tags. I hate a lot of tag matches because of this. I know its to build up to a big pop when your fav face gets taged into the match to take out both heels, but it iritates me to no end at times. Also, I hate when a hot tag happens when the face has to kill both heels, its just stupid that "tired heel" recovers miraculusly just to get beat down every time.

4.tag teams only last 8months on average or less
5.Hot tags
6.completely dumb endings to matches
7. stupid run ins *cough* TNA *cough*
8. how they try to sell how great a match was when in all reality its fake so all there saying is BS (like batista hyping cena and his match at summerslam)

The Irish Whip. It's like saying "I'm going to take your arm and force you to run at the rope, which means you're supposed to bounce off of them. Don't attempt to stop."

all my pet peeves in wrestling are easily summed up in three letters. TNANaiKoN9293

I love this one! NaiKoN9293.

Things I cant stand..first off, John Cena..there that had to be said

now, I dont like it when wrestlers can pick each other up then two years later thay made it look like an impossibility, case in point Cena F U ing the big show at mania 20, then two years later on SD he could barely get him up and Kane is actually a prime example,

Also things are so obvious and King ans JR try to sway us away from thinking it. like when the crowd loves the bad guys in so fourth

When they give people thousands of title shots..hmm..Bichtista comes to mind.

When they brag about their "did you know" facts and lie in them at that.

When they charge you to vote

When the announcers talk about a heel differnetly than a face, like when edge did his money in the bank, they were like the opportuinistic coward vs Punk when he did it, It was smart and crafty of the young superstar. HA! Bullsheep!!!

When JR praiseds ppl that have wronged him in the past aka Triple H, Kane, Vince Mcmahon, I know its fake but it still peeves me when JR's like "the cerebral assasin, the game he'll take you to hell in back, hes not gonna give up without a fight." and all that stuff when 4 years before he's like "the coward champion triple H, what a shameful son of a (B)****" It just peeves me

When WWE bans sgns from the crow that talk about things they dont want it to

When WWE makes fun of former superstars that chose to do other things with their life

When they edit to make the fans cheer ppl knowing damn well theyre not.

Whe they try to make us believe things that are oviously fake,,

Micheal Cole, another pet peeve

'and the list goes on and on.
