Last night's episode of TNA Impact did a 1.36 rating with 1,847,000 viewers. That is the highest rating for the show on Thursday night and second only to the show's first Monday rating, which did a 1.41.

TNA did put more effort into building that Impact than most of their PPVs.

As much as I hate to admit it, Sting probably did bring more to that pop than I'd like to admit. With all the buzz built by WWE for Sting, it probably lead some folks to check out TNA for their parody of a wrestling show with Sting's return.

I didn't watch the show because I found the spoilers offensive, but we'll see how many hang around.

However, this is unlikely to signal anything good. All this means is more Hogan, more Sting, more Hardy, and more Jarrett and Jarrett's the only guy who's worth a damn right now.
