An interesting card thus far. Quite questionable, especially the "Feast or Fire" match.

Y'all know what to do in this thread. ;)

What the heck is the Feast or Fired match? Other than that, the card looks alright.

TNA's mobile text messaging service announced that the Turning Point PPV on 12/2 in Orlando will feature a "Feast or Fired" Battle Royal which will lead to a wrestler being "fired." Cue the Eric Young paranoid promos. The match will feature four briefcases, one in each corner with three of them containing title shots and the other featuring a pink slip.PWInsider

It's got "Russo" written all over it.

More Angle vs Joe, and hopefully angle alliance fights nash and hall out of the arena. Just dont want to see Hall in the ring, he just looks in such bad fighting shape. Could easily see him getting a real injurytoo.

This PPV is very stupid with the Feast or Fired match, but I do like seeing Joe Vs. Angle, they have great matches against each other.

But haveing Hall and Nash teaming up with Joe is kind of a stupid idea, I know TNA is looking for some kind of thing to do different from WWE, and that a good idea in all but, not all this 6-man tag team matches and stuff.

I do not mind it on occasion where we have tag-team main event, however, when you are doing that kind of thing 2 pay-per-view events straight, seems kind of redundant.

Also, as the case was with Jarrett couple years back, kind of comes off as attempt to artificially extend Angle's run with the title.

For the record, it does not exactly help matters when Hall and Nash stop being good for main event work 5 years ago (if not longer). For that matter, if I were doing the booking, those guys would never see wrestling ring again, and just be used strickly for manager or manager-like roles. For example, stuff Nash was doing with Shelley year or so back is more along the lines of the kind of thing someone such as Nash (or Hall) should be doing.

If you are asking me, same exact thing could be said for the Steiners.

Well, technically, last month's tag match was a defense. The Title was on the line, so it wasn't a completely artificial way to extend the title run. I definately see your point, though.

I understand the sentiment and to a degree I agree with everything you say. However, I'm still torn by this main event.

Here's what I like about it. To this point, its been all about the Outsiders giving Joe the rub. They've stepped back to give Joe the mic time and Joe the spotlight, which they should. As of now, Hall and Nash have been doing there part to make Joe seem like a big deal and a main eventer again, which is what Joe needs and I don't really see too many other guys on the roster that could do that. They may be past their prime, but there's still a little allure left in the Outsiders and they're using that to benefit Joe, which I like. Coming out of the debacle that was his last feud with ANgle, this is exactly what Joe needs. So, I like that aspect and I really don't see any other way it could be done. And of course, they still have plenty of opportunities to ruin it as well, like say if Angle murders Joe again.

The other thing I like about it is that its a 6-Man. That should limit the damage Hall and Nash can do in the ring, especially with AJ, Angle and Joe around to carry the load and create movement around them. As I said, I think there's still an allure to the Outsiders, even if they are well past their prime (if Nash ever had a prime), and part of that is to see them wrestle again and this is the best way to do it, IMO. If they are going to be around and take up as much TV time as they do, there needs to be a payoff and this is the best way to limit their damage in delivering that pay-off, IMO. And again, at least they are also being used to help make (or in this case re-build) a star in Joe.

This ppv sucked worst ppv of the year. I can't wait for TNA marks to defend this sh*t. We will have to wait until impact to see who got what in their cases looks like Petey Williams will be fired. VKM tag team title match. Senshi X title match. Scott Steiner World Title Match.

- As reported, Scott Hall missed last night's show due to food poisoning. TNA had contact with him early in the day, but they could not reach him later on. Eventually he sent a text message saying he had food poisoning and he never came, although they held out hope that he would make it.

- Samoa Joe was asked to cut the promo last night in order to put the heat on Hall and then put over contracted talent, eventually to reveal Eric Young as the partner. Joe went much longer than scripted, and laid into Kevin Nash more than was expected, upsetting Nash, especially since Nash was a supporter of TNA signing Joe.

- During the interview, when Joe leaned over the ropes and said, "Go ahead and fire me, I don't care," he was looking at TNA President Dixie Carter. She and many others were upset at Joe for "going into business for himself." After the match, Nash waited for Joe backstage and they had a heated exchange, but eventually cooled down.

- At the TNA tapings today, Terry Taylor brought everyone's contract with him to a talent meeting. Dixie Carter told anyone that wanted their release that they could have it on the spot. Senshi took her up on her offer and is now gone from the company. Senshi was one of the winners in last night's "Feast or Fired" match, so it will be easy to explain his firing.

- Samoa Joe gave an emotional apology to the locker room for going overboard the previous night, and hopes everyone would take his apology. This was followed by Kurt Angle and Booker T giving pep talks to the roster, telling them that they had a lot to be positive about and asking them to keep working hard.

I don't know how any of the younger talents could be happy since TNA is putting over former WWE guys on the program more than they areand I would be upset. I wonder where Low Ki will go now? Probably back to ROH or maybe try to sign with WWE?

I don't understand whats going on with Hall. This guy gets blessed with another chance and it's like he doesn't care. It goes to show me that he doesn't understand what a good friend that he has (or had) in Nash. This guy stuck his head out for him and what happens. A total F U. I really feel bad for Nash. I don't know if this so called 'food poisoning' is true or not..but we all know Hall's track record.

While its not beyond the realm of possibility to see Ki make a return to ROH, after the way things ended last time, its highly unlikely. Unless Ki was humbled rather dramatically (not necessarily in the Iron Shiek way), its pretty unlikely. He may have burned that bridge. I'm not sure how many bridges Low Ki hasn't burned yet. I think he's still good with PWG.

However, his return to ROH could be a huge boost and a huge moment for ROH. He may not bring any mainstream credibility to the PPVs, but Ki's still got a lot of value in ROH and there are a lot of DVD selling matches out there if they can do business.

As for Joe, I can understand why TNA would be upset with him going off, on live PPV like that but that doesn't take away any of the truth of his words. How many times is TNA going sacrifice the guys that are thereand have been there ever taping to be burned by the "big names" that they keep bringing in like Waltman, Hall and Rikishi? He should apologize for "going into business for himself" as it has been put, but not for the content.

But, man, could there have been a lamer replacement in the world than Eric Young? Salt in the wound.

As reported yesterday, Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash had an altercation backstage at the Turning Point PPV. Nash was upset with Joe, feeling his "shoot" promo at Turning Point went too far. Nash apparently pie-faced Joe and things were then broken up. While most feel the incident wasn't planned, there does seem to be some feeling that the situation might be a work.

if there becomes a storyline of it, then ill be suspcious, but as for now it sounds legit... TNA is really starting to go beyond being bad and starting to lean towards disaster... no one is going to watch ppl who did not succeed in the E or are past their prime... if you want to succeed, then have your own identity... UFC is getting bigger because they have their own style, i know its not really a fair comparison, but if they wanted they could have surely signed Angle, Pueter and all those ppl who are known in the E and tried to showcase them to get fans, but they have stuck to the ppl who have gotten them to the top... again, i know the UFC is far different than the E, but i hop my point is coming across... besides, im tired so i doubt im making sense and i am just frustrated with TNA's decision making since they have tried to get bigger

- As reported earlier, Scott Hall no showed the TNA PPV on Sunday due to what he claims was food poisoning. TNA does not plan to use him again. Kevin Nash was pretty upset over Hall's no show as he had really been supportive of Hall trying to get back on track. TNA decided to bury Hall and have Joe go out and give the promo he did as a way of getting heat off of the company for not delivering their advertised main event.

- The main reason Nash was upset with Samoa Joe's "insider shoot" promo at the PPV was because Nash had to stand in the ring while Joe spoke and then had to tag with him. The way Joe's promo came off, it seemed as if he was often talking about Nash.

- After their altercation backstage in which Nash was the aggresor, Joe did apologize to Nash and apparently both have moved on. Some think Nash was taking his anger out on Joe from the Hall situation.

- When Joe involved Dixie Carter into his promo, daring her to fire him, it was an improvised moment that was not planned. Carter simply played along best she could. It was not designed to make Dixie an on-screen character and that is why she was not acknowledged by the announcers.

- Joe did not have any heat on him from management. Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter, and others all realized that he simply got caught up in the heat of the moment.

- At the Impact taping on Monday, Carter gave a speech backstage to the roster, thanking them for all their hard work and putting over how far TNA has come. She even got a bit teary-eyed when talking about how much TNA has grown. She acknowledged that there was some talking going around about a few of the younger guys being unhappy with their roles. She compared wrestlers to actors and athletes, saying actors perform what the director tells them to perform, and athletes execute the plays the coach tells them to. As we reported earlier, she then said that if anyone wanted their release, they could have it. Senshi was the only one to take Carter up on her offer. Booker T and Kurt Angle also spoke up, saying how special TNA is and how it has just started to grow.

- Dixie's speech was planned before Joe's comments at the PPV and was not in response to them.

- There is nothing new in the Sting negotiations. At this point, it appears that the TNA Genesis PPV may end up being his final TNA match.

- Rhino missed the PPV on Sunday due to what is believed to be either a neck injury or some sort of personal problem.

- TNA does have future plans for Ron Killings.

- Abyss received several stitches after the PPV on Sunday.
