I have read a couple of stories abou the actual toughest SOB in wrestling. Not their gimmick but actually being a BA. I have always thought that Stan Hansen or Harley Race were the guys you didn't want to mess with outside the ring. But the stories I have recently read say that Meng/Haku is the toughest guy out there. Stories of Meng range from fighting several people at one time in a bar to beating up cops to pulling another wrestler's eye out.
True. But the stories I've read from other wrestlers always came up to Meng or Harley Race. They said these two, especially Meng, they would not want to meet in a dark alley. As far as Kurt Angle goes, he's is pretty tough and a good freestyle wrestler. I just wish he would have gone for PrideFC instead of TNA.
Samoa Joe, Angle, Undertaker, probably Big Show ( I know I wouldn't want to make him mad.), and Benoit are the ones that come to mind. Probably a ton of others.
Well Mick Foley is one guy that comes to mind just because of some of the bumps he's takin over the years (especially the ones that he actually agreed to take). Although he's not the only guy I think of, I am only mentioning him because no one else has.
There's no real reason in deciding who the toughest is, I think it ranges from a few people as mentioned. To me being tough isn't just being a jerk outside the ring, to me it's someone who can do what they do with everything standing against them. Some of those people, as mentioned, are Foley, Angle, even the likes of the Undertaker. One more person I would add to that list is Ric Flair, he's definately earned my respect in recent matches.
Terry Funk also belong on that list for the man at his age doing some of the most insane and ridiculous things in wrestling in ECW and in Japan. He still active for being what 60 something or so.
Benoit, Angle, and Sabu surprise me with the ability to work through the pain they go throught every day. Funk I don't have enough experience of seeing him, but enough to say he's up there.
Hardcore Holly. To come back from the brink of death and wrestle with his back bleeding all over the place earns my respect. I also think he genionly tough outside the ring too. Poor rene Dupree :P Bart Gunn also, he won that legit brawl for all Tournament.
