Update On JBL's Injury, Possible Match With Benoit At WM22

- WWE posted a video on their website of JBL's surgery and an update on his condition. JBL broke his hand at the SmackDown! tapings during the six-man tag team match. In the video, JBL claims that Chris Benoit attempted to end his career. He also added that Benoit would have to do more than go after his hand to end his career. This has hinted to a possible matchup between the two at WrestleMania 22.

The doctor who perform the surgery said JBL's hand is injured, however would like to get him back to do what he does ASAP.

According to WWE, the surgery went well, and the injury is not serious enough to keep JBL out of action for WrestleMania 22.

Man, I really do hate JBL. When is he going to understand that he shouldn't even be at WM, especially against Benoit.

Yeah, I guess you're right. But he shouldn't have a match with Benoit.

I'll be disappointed to see Benoit/JBL at WM22. I see it as a wasted opportunity, just like Michaels/McMahon.

Then again, you bring up a good point Darren about his role throughout last year and it wouldn't be logic to keep him off the card this year. If Benoit/JBL does happen, I hope it is a lot better than JBL/Cena from last year's event. Then again, Benoit manages to make anyone he wrestles look good so it could just work out for Layfield in the end.

Most of that feud was talk. I want to see more of them actually having matches.

Gah. Another waste of a WM match.

I'll bet that Booker T will face Boogeyman at WM, which will be another waste. I'm probably the biggest Boogeyman mark in WWEv, but he sucks as a wrestler.

im right there w/ ya on the Boogeyman markness...he owns, but sucks at wrestling... as far as jbl/benoit i felt it coming, but i think it can be ok if done correctly

1. Take away the worms.
2. Stop the dancing.
3. Let him move around in the ring a little more.

That would own. The character of Boogeyman is supposed to be badass, and if they did all that ^^^ he would be badass.

Benoit needs to move up to the WWE/Heavyweight Title division. WWE isnt using him right. He could have some great matches if WWE lets him. JoHn-CeNa346

Im not really sure about Benoit vs JBL. I guess it could be a good match. If this match happens at WM WWE should add a stipulation, say a Hardcore match?Jericho300
