Vince's Plan to Counter UFC on 10/10

With ECW going head-to-head on 10/10 with the Spike TV Ken Shamrock vs. Tito Ortiz III match, at first the word was WWE was not going to acknowledge or counterprogram.

However, WWE announced today it will have a live strip poker game with all the women in the promotion (Raw, Smackdown and ECW) as its counter to the UFC two-hour live show.

This is really pathetic... but you kind of expect this from Vince McMahon. He swears all wrestling fans are horny 13 year olds...

To be honest that match will probably only go a few minutes considering their last match, so WWE has no reason to even air anything. Plus, come on, a strip poker game, that's just f****** stupid.

WWE should have stuck to not acknowledging them.

Ignoring it would have been the smart thing to do. But we all know that's not what Vince likes to do in these kind of situations, although this wasn't what I was expecting.

Obviously no diva will get all the way "stripped". If you like that kind of thing then watch and enjoy, and if you don't then don't watch it.

I'm going to watch Tito vs. Ortiz instead of this crap just to piss WWE off, I don't even like UFC and I didn't even know they were going to air Shamrock vs. Ortiz for free until this article. if they want me to watch their product they should put on decent wrestling matches and not a tacky strip show where nobody actually strips.

On Tuesday EVERYBODY watch UFC instead of WWE to show them that we want WRESTLING not a victoria's secret catalog.

Me, I won't be watching the Strip Poker for my own sanity, not to make any kind of statement.

I am deffinatly going to watch Tito and Shamrock, that should be an awesome match and I have been looking foward to it ever since Shamrock lost in Tito vs Shamrock II (who didn't see them making a III coming?). Hopefully Shamrock can last until the second round this time, hell maybe even win.

In regards to Vince's attempt to draw ratings with a "live strip poker game", isn't that what we have porn for?
