WWE is hyping up that CM Punk is going to address his loss to Undertaker. With what the rumors are saying it could possibly be an "I'm taking a break" speech.

Ryback is supposed to discuss his motives for attacking Cena which should be about as interesting as my taxes that I'm currently finishing up.

This'll also be Ziggler's first Raw as World Heavyweight Champion, which is kinda notable.

Eh
''The main event for Extreme Rules is confirmed to be Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar in a Steel Cage match, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.''

''CM Punk has told an interviewer that he is going to be given a live mic tonight, likely to give a speech about leaving (for a while). However, they are going to stay very clear of any "pipe bomb" mentions given the tragedy that took place in Boston earlier.''

I hope he isn't gone long. I also hope he doesn't come back just to end up being part of a storyline where it leads towards a rematch with Taker at Wrestlemania 30.

''Cena will likely give a speech about the bombings given that he is from Massachusetts.''

I'm fine with this. Horrible tragedy.
I think what Punk will do is he'll say that because he couldn't beat Undertaker, he'll just kayfabe quit. He's "quit" before and came back weeks later, but this time I think he'll be gone until Payback, where he'll interfere in a John Cena match almost costing Cena the title, win the MitB match this year, and challenge Cena at Summerslam after giving him week's notice in advance like Cena did last year.

Curious to see the WWE/WHC Picture.... Mark Henry would be the logical choice as he beat Ryback, but yet again they could face again for a #1 shot.Or could be both of them at ER. As for Dolph,Jericho will prob be busy with Fandangooooo so maybe a match with Del Rio at ER.Would be nice to see Christian back and feud with Dolph, please YES. Also wondering how they will do a Team Hell vs The Shield, with Taker or without, reports say he likely won't do the match, but you never know. And CM Punk with a mic=SOLD.Will prob take a rest up to Payback(In Chicago)Which would be great as he's been banged up for quite a while, dude needs a break. Would also like to see Cesaro doing something,c'mon Creative!Guy is talented.

I'm guessing he'll do something like "you people don't deserve me!" and walk out

What I'm hoping for is for another of his worked shoots where he goes off for having so many part-timers in the marquee matches at WM and then "quits" the company because of it
This is actually really good. Good reasons why Ryback attacked Cena.Razor-Lazor

This.

It's nice to use a heel using some logic. He's not bad on the mic as a heel, either.

Well, let's not get to far ahead of ourselves now. Ryback probably rehearsed this throughout the day and got some coaching from guys better skilled on the mic. But, I'll give props where it's due: Ryback did a great job and if he could do that type of mic work on a consistent basis, he's gonna be main event star in no time. I'm really surprised by Ryback tonight, because before that promo, I thought the only thing Ryback could say was duh.

I think Ziggler will have a great Title run, liked the push he's getting.Seeing him debut till now proves WWE gets it once in a while. And 6 Man Tag-The Shield vs Taker/Hell No at London already has me foaming in the mouth. With a great crowd expected as always, this match is full of win.jedi_marcos

He really didn't get pushed well at all. He was jobbing for literally everyone before Wrestlemania, and always seems to have matches he was losing interrupted -- thus making him come off as weak. Coming out and beating someone in about 10-20 seconds for the WHC is not a 'push' that works on its own. He was just lucky he happened to win the Title in an arena with a great audience. Otherwise, what exactly is strong about his push, except that one crowd reaction?

Also, what reasons are there to think he will have a great Title run in general? I'm genuinely interested in hearing what your reasons are behind this. It's one thing to say it, but I'd like to be able to understand the core reasons behind a mere statement (Not trying to come off as evil here... Promise :P )

^I suppose I can see lengthy Title run coming from a concept like that, but it's not exactly the best way to go about it, IMO.

Because Ziggler can build good feuds unlike most of the last few WHC champs, and is pretty good in the ring.

^Disagree with the first bit (I don't remember any truly notable feuds with Ziggles, except maybe Jericho/Bryan. Even then they were 'okay' feuds), but agree with the second bit (The actual matches with Jericho/Bryan were good/great) :P

TruthTellers, post up a brief description on what happened in the last hour of RAW. I need to go to bed (I have to get up super early), and unless it's good I can't be bothered to watch it all. I hope you guys get entertained with the rest of the show (Not too bad, thus far).

Love how Fandango's dance/entrance music is completely over with everyone, but not Fandango himself XD

Wow, Brock was on fire. See how much quicker he is with wrestlers that are not Triple H.

Although, one thing that really annoys me with Brock is how he always sticks arms out so far from his body while walking around. He's a muscly monster, so surely there is no need to try and act even bigger than you already clearly are.

I just want a Trips-Steph vs Brock-Sable match please. It would be so awesome to have a husband-wife vs husband-wife match. It's never been done before in wrestling history so why not make some history WWE?

Fully expect Kofi to win here. Cesaro's been champ since August and we all know Vince doesn't see much in him.

Called the Kofi win. I actually like having Big E as part of the Ziggler and AJ group because it makes it feel like they're a bunch of ragtag wrestlers who are working their way up the ladder to success.

I guess there is, without a doubt, no brand seperation anymore with Dolph, Daniel Bryan, and so many other "Smackdown guys" on Raw every week. I don't mind it, but why are there so many titles now? I understand having the main title in the WWE championship, an undertitle for Mid-carders, and a lesser title. But to have the WWE championship> World Heavyweight championship>Intercontinental championship=US championship is just asinine. One of the titles needs to GO.

Personally, I find Ziggler to only be a slight step-up from Alberto Del Rio (Who is rubbish in my opinion). I will obviously give Ziggler more of a chance, but he just seems as bland as any other champion at the moment. He's mediocre on the mic for the most part (He's definitely had occasional decent moments on the mic too), but his matches are pretty decent sometimes. Not enough for me to consider championship material, though.

This is all just my opinion, but I find Ziggler always seems to get overrated due to him being able to 'sell' well (And even then I find it questionable sometimes). I just doubt he'll be a memorable champion... Just don't shoot me for my opinion :P

I've read that they intentionally had Ziggler lose to a bunch of people before he won the title so that they could establish reasons for people to contend for the title, if that makes sense. Basically, they want people to say, "Ziggler, I've beaten you once, I'll do it again."

While the idea is pretty stupid, it does inspire hope that he'll have a lengthy title run.

He really didn't get pushed well at all. He was jobbing for literally everyone before Wrestlemania, and always seems to have matches he was losing interrupted -- thus making him come of as weak.

Because Ziggler can build good feuds unlike most of the last few WHC champs, and is pretty good in the ring.

Nah it's cool, simply saying how far he's come since debuting till now.Not just his Money in the Bank push which was obviously weak. For the most part I enjoyed his matches and like his in ring skills,to me hands down can sell a move than most of the locker room.As for his title run, real fans are behind him,they/me can see great matches and feuds in the future.Kid def has it,just a matter of WWE getting their part right and he should do good. The WHC picture is not set in stone but say add Christian,an RVD(If he returns),Mysterio(If he returns) or Del Rio and etc just sounds good on paper. I just don't see him having a bad one as he has the talent IMO,and what of a feud with Bryan or Jericho. It just seems to me he should do fine.

Wow, observe the difference between how WWE deals with "Fandangoing" and the "Yes" phenomena. WWE instantly embraces "Fandangoing" (immediately robbing it of its appeal), while they tried to eliminate "Yes" and only embraced it later (kinda) when it wasn't going away... choosing instead to shoehorn DB into a comedy tag team (one of their more brilliant ways to depush a guy). Whatever, Fandangoing is dead... or should be. The Ryback-Cena story ties together rather nicely. That's cool and frustrating at the same time. That kind of simple logic and consistency is all that's really needed for wrestling stories. Promo ran long, which is fine, I guess, if the goal is Ryback's a heel, as the more he talks, the less folks'll like him. Personally, I figure less is more for Ryback, especially on the mic. John Cena "I'm not hard to find" ... unless of course The Shield's beating the **** out of you.

yeah, this crowd is as dead as I've seen a crowd... Crazy to see how much a crowd affects a show... Was wwe trying to turn Fandongo face?

I don't understand why people who don't really give a crap about wrestling go to the shows. I don't care if the tickets are about $20, if you don't like wrestling, why are you watching it live?

I don't know how two women who can't wrestle are giving 7-8 minutes when girls like AJ and Natalya can't even get a minute in the ring. As Ryback would say, STUPID!
