Weekly TV Thread - September 2 - 8

This week on Raw...

Clearly I'm looking forward to more of the Daniel Bryan vs New Corporation angle.

They were teasing Big Show & Mark Henry vs The Shield, but now Mark Henry is injured so who knows how that's going to go.

Maybe they'll build on AJ's out of place (but great) promo from last week. Hopefully this leads to a feud with Natalya and not with one of the Bellas. 

 They're teasing something with Bray Wyatt and then a continuation of the CM Punk vs Heyman/Axel feud.

Speaking of the Divas is there any proof that Eva Marie is a human being and not a mannequin

Is Henry really injured? This is great! I'm going to be at my very first wrestling event next week, and no Mark Henry, Chris Jericho, Sheamus, John Cena, or Sin Cara. :( I mean, Sin Cara is a waste of space anyways, and probably wouldn't be on the card, but I was looking forward to seeing the other guys - Chris Jericho being of particular interest of course. If AJ, Bryan, or Punk gets hurt this week, I'm going to be pissed. Full_Metal1923

I don't care about the moral thing re: scalping tickets, I'm just saying he shouldn't do it just because a few mid-tier guys won't be there.

It's for Sept. 9th's edition of RAW. I won't be scalping the tickets though. I've been looking forward to attending a live event ever since I was six years-old. I'm sure there will be plenty of fun to be had, especially with Daniel Bryan vs. The New Corporation. It should be a great way to end my summer break as I start university the next day. 

Yeah you'll have fun regardless. I've been to good Raws and bad Raws and even the bad Raws are still fun to actually be at in person. 

Next week should be solid too since it's the last show before the PPV and they have a couple hot angles leading up to it

It seems lately that Triple H starts of a segment pretty strong and finishes it really weak, maybe he needs more rest holds in his promos, but idk what the equivalent of a rest hold in a promo is. Maybe a water break? Maybe Triple H should start bringing some bottles of Poland Spring to the ring to keep hydrated?TruthTellers

I'm guessing Cody's just getting a vacation for a few weeks for his honeymoon and whatnot. Then a few weeks from now "the board of directors" will reverse the decision and reinstate him.

(or I guess since he's "not with the company anymore" and doesn't have anything to fear then he'll be the one to finally come to Bryan's aid)

Oh I know he is. Even in the commercial for Night of Champions they show him holding up a title and crying. I just think it kills the appeal of a giant when you have Triple H say 'he's 7-foot, 500lbs' and in the next segment he breaks down in tears.

You kniw, ever since I was a kid I always thought it weird that whenever there was a huge crowd of superstars together like there is at the top of the stage, why none of the guys in feuds wouldn't just go after one another. This isn't so much a complaint, because I've gotten used to this, but it really doesn't lend to making any of the feuds believable.

I love D-Bry and all but late-90s Stone Cold is sort-of untouchable in terms of popularity/overness.

This whole "firing" people angle and Big Show's crying and working for d*cks and companies pushing non-dedicated employees is strangely reminiscent of the last two months of my career.TruthTellers

They need to have the faces get the better of the Corporation at some point don't they? I'm not really expecting Bryan to win at Night of Champions. We've had the same ending for 3 straight Raws now and I think recent Smackdowns have ended the same way.
