Honestly sephy, I think you are waiting for some new talent to come in with the potential to hold this company for the next decade, and there isn't anyone with that potential at the moment. With the department of Lashley(who honestly sucked as far as mic skills went) the best young(as in they haven't been around long enough) talent currently on the active roster is Kennedy, MVP, and CM Punk. Like them or not, they are getting a response from the crowd. Kennedy had the best mic skills of the 3. Punk is the best wrestler of the 3(or at least the best athlete). As for MVP, his title reign has so far been a joke, for as I remember, his last title defense was at Armagheddon and he walked out on Rey Mysterio. MVP is being pushed too fast, Kennedy IMO is being pushed to slow. And the time Punk spent in ECW has run its course, and now with the MITB, its time for him to move to Raw. MVP needs to lose the belt and dip from the scene a bit. And a Kennedy/Punk match for the #1 Contendership or something could be big if done right. If Punk were to win the WWE belt, turn heel, and job around with Cena for a while(which honestly has some huge potential) until Hardy returns, then Hardy could go for the belt as a face, and we could see some of the best high-flying matches(plus a dream match of many) in years. Kennedy could move to Smackdown and contend with Edge(again some great stuff could happen there) or Batista. This leaves guys like Orton, Trips(admit it, he does have a few good matches hidden somewhere under the manboobs), HBK, Taker, and others to fill in the pre-main events and have a well balanced show for a bit. This also leaves room for guys like Kane and Jericho to pop into the title picture to take on, how should we say it.....less "Cena'd" opponents. With guys like Santino and Cryme Time to fill in the comedy portions of the show, and the big wrestlers doing well, WWE could focus on building the Tag Team division with guys like Cade/Murdoch, Londrick, and some new talent/unused midcards and re build it to what it once was. Another potential star is Umaga. He is a great wrestler(his stuff with Hardy is some of the best matches I've seen in a while) and can have a good match with anyone. Being backed with a good manager to fill in the talking parts(Estrada, while annoying, is better than hearing a bunch of retarded howls and screams), and he could go on to do big work. Another thing they should do is drop untalented big guys like Khali and Daddy V. They don't intimidate anyone and are getting negative reactions.
By doing this, and doing it right, which I have no faith in them doing, WWE could set themselves up for some halfway decent televsion, something they dearly need.
