what the hell are they doing to smackdown *spoilers*

smackdown has gotten screw over royally they trading carlito for hassan

and is this a new title being made because teddy not once called the title the wwe championship but the smackdown title?

and if that is the case then raw now has more titles that smackdown so teddy must have one more title to create

maybe thats what the deal is raw gets all of smackdowns best stars and the wwe championship and teddy gets raw rejects to go with what he already has plenty of, and gets to create two new titles can't wait to see what the other title will be

My thoughts on the draft!

Raw is the home of the more experienced (such as Angle)

Smackdown is the home of the up-comers and experienced that needing shinning (such as Orton, Benoit)

Orton and the Hussan our up-comers, that is what WWE is thinking. They are probably thinking the same thing I am thinking, Smackdown will give all 3 superstars a chance to shine and become main eventers (even though Benoit should be already).

Also, Orton's Career has just begun (trust me, Orton will be one the greats, give him time to grow on SmackDown!), while Angle we probably not be wrestling for too much longer (probably a couple more years). Besides, Angle needs some new feuds, it was doing him more bad than good for him to stay on Smackdown! and wrestle mostly the same opponents over and over again. As far Cena, the move has increased his popularity, so cleary the move has done him good.

As far Cartlito, Y2J is coming to Smackdown! so WWE needed to move Carlito to Raw, sense the Cabana and the HL Reel cannot be on the same show (that would be stupid). As far Hassun, he is good mid-card, is good in-ring wrestler and making him US champ would bring a lot of heat for his character, so the move was good for him as well and possible the rating as time goes by.

Give the draft some time, WWE is thinking in terms of long-term and giving SmackDown! the up-comers to grow and become the future of wrestling (especially Orton). Also, the draft is not over yet and there can be some trading that can stil take place, remember trading can happen until the end of the month.

I was talking to the topic creator...lol, and this topic says spoiler because I edited it for him.

Here is how I see it:

• Angle on RAW is as good as Benoit on SD! - both are amazing atheletes and wrestlers although Angle is better in terms of promos'...etc but they are still as equal.
• Carlito on RAW is as good as Hassan on SD! - both recently joined the WWE and have played decent roles for mid-carders.
• Cena on RAW is as good as Orton on SD! - both have a big future in the WWE.

This nonsense of a new Smackdown title is nothing more than a plot point so there's an immediate feud for Jericho or Christian (whomever beats Cena because I really do not beleive Cena will walk out of Vengeance as Champion) when they get drafted. The last needed on RAW is for the WWE title to stay there because it would basically be nothing more than a Super Intercontinental belt or something. Plus it would lower Carlito's newly won Intercontinental title.

That would be a fun storyline for the summer. Smackdown takes hostage of both world titles, Bischoff gets annoyed and does everything he can to get the Big Gold Belt back which leads to Summerslam (next cross-brand PPV).

i agree with Link256, the smackdown title is nonother than the WWE championship, and the winner of the match at vengance, which is probably Y2J, will face the winner of the 6 man battle rayal , which could be Hassan.

So what about Backlash 04 when he defeated Foley in an amazing match with no interference? What about Summerslam 04 when he defeated Benoit? Both were quality matches and the only reason he had "daddys" help was because "daddy" was being inducted to the HOF this year and needed to have a role of some sort to the build up to WM21 and at the PPV itself. Cena just F-U's someone and wins it. What's so great?
