WWEv Fantasy Draft
-
Introduction:
Welcome to the very first World Wrestling Everything Fantasy Draft! Many of you have participated in the WWE.com fantasy draft and have probably participated in other sports fantasy drafts such as Fantasy Football, Fantasy Baseball, Fantasy Basketball, Fantasy Soccer, etc. This will be very similar to those, but not without a few twists of my own.
-
Rules:
1) You may only have up to 4 superstars on your fantasy team.
2) You are only given 100 points.
3) You may have no more than one main eventer, two mid carders, and 3 low carders. (Remember, you may only 4 superstars total. For Example: 1 ME, 2 MC, 1 LC; or 2 MC, 2 LC; or 1 ME, 3 LC; or 1 MC, 3 LC; etc.)
4) Superstars will be given point values.
Main Eventers range from 50 - 70 points
Mid Carders range from 30 - 40 points
Low Carders range from 10 - 20 points.
(Note: I will determine if the superstar is a main eventer, mid card, or low card. But if you disagree with me, please let it be known and we can have a vote if a majority of you feel the same.)
5) You will stick with the same people you have for the whole Fantasy Draft period. So choose wisely!
6) IF a superstar is injured, quits, gets fired, or is suspended, then you may choose another wrestler.
7) You may not choose two members of the same faction or a tag team.
For Example: If you choose Paul London, you may not choose Brian Kendrick.
Have Fun! It is a game afterall.

Sign Up:
Currently this is the sign up period. It will end at midnight (central standard time) on April 8th. Depending on how many people show interest, the rules and such may change to accomodate everyone.
The most important thing you need to know is that if you have never posted here before or hardly ever post here, then you are not eligible. But don't let that get you down, if you show activity during the participation period, you will be eligible. You still have to show activity during the whole period of the game though.
I'm hoping to get at least 20 people to join.

Draft Time:
Starting on April 9th, I put all the names together and randomize the list so it will be fair. I will post the list and starting then, the first person may choose his or her superstar. Don't forget to check the rules on how the point system effects your choices.
You may choose any superstar you want first if he or she isn't chosen. So anyone is fair game.
Everyone must finish their choices by May 19th at midnight (central standard time), the day before Judgement Day.
The draft will go into effect starting on May 21st, the day after Judgement Day.
-
When Will Scores Be Updated?:
I will be updating the scores every Sunday at midnight (central standard time).
-
When Does This End?:
The WWEv Fantasy Draft will end on December 31st, 2007. So anything after midnight (central standard time) of New Year's Eve will be null and void.
-
Who Can I Choose?:
You may choose any superstar on the WWE or TNA roster
If a TNA wrestler appears in other federations besides the TNA, they will NOT have a chance to score points. Sorry ROH fans.
Also, if one of your picks is pushed into a higher level (Mid Carder pushed to Main Event status) then no changes will happen to your picks. All your picks are final and will not change no matter what except if they are injured, fired, suspended, or quit.

 Scoring Rules:
Here is the breakdown for points:
Appearance = + 1 points
Match = + 3 points
(Note: They do not get 4 points for being in a match because they "appeared." If they get points for appearing, then it is in a non wrestling segment or in a match where they are not participating in)
Win: + 5 points
Loss: -2 points
DQ: -5
(Note: Even if your superstar loses, you will still gain a point because the differential is still positive. 3 Points (Match) - 2 Points (Loss) = + 1 Point)
Title Defense: + 3 points
Successful Defense: + 2 points
Title Win: +15 points
Title Loss: - 10 points
PPV Appearance: + 3 points
PPV Match: + 5 Points
PPV Win: + 5
PPV Loss: - 3
(Note: I do not wish to punish you a lot for losing a PPV match.)
Specialty Match (Handicap, Hardcore, TLC, Ladder, Pepe on a Pole, etc.): + 3 points
Suspension: - 25 points
(Note: Remember, if your superstar is suspended, injured, fired, or quits, you may choose another superstar)
THERE WILL BE NO POINTS GIVEN FOR WEAPON SHOTS OR FINISHING MOVES USED.

Prizes:
First Place: Wrestlemania 23, Rise & Fall of ECW, Monday Night Wars and a WWE or TNA ppv dvd of their choice, or if they have all of that and wish for an ROH dvd, I would oblige sending them any one they want.
Second Place: WWE or TNA ppv dvd of their choice.
Third Place: The satisfaction of knowing that they are better than the Ultimate Warrior.
All prize winners will get personalized a sig/tag/banner of their choosing.
Unlike past contests where someone would be given a prize of a wrestling dvd, but via a file to download...I will be personally buy copies and sending them to you and paying for the shipping myself. So these are legit prizes. I have Rise & Fall of ECW and Monday Night Wars unopened and still in their shrink wrap so don't feel as if I'm spending a lot of money on this. At most, I will only be spending money on the WWE/TNA ppv dvd or the ROH dvd which would only cost me from 20 - 25 dollars.

Changing The Rules:
As I mentioned earlier, we may have votes about scoring rules, regular rules, and wrestler status if anyone feels anything should be changed. In order for something to be changed, it has to get at least over half of the people that are participating. For Example: 20 people are participating, then at least 11 people have to vote in response to a change. If a vote is say, 9 - 11 against changing it, then it will remain. But if it were 12 - 8 in favor of changing a rule, then that rule will be changed.)
