i don't know if this thread has been done (probably has). but oh well.

the worst match ever i think is either:

Al Snow vs. Head

or

Kevin Nash (world champ) vs. Hogan

al snow vs. head was just plain stupid and nash vs. hogan was.....ok let's be real, if u haven't heard of the infamous finger poke match, then u can just stop watching wrestling right now.

I heard of it, watched it and remember it well. Yea, not exactly the greatest match ever. Beware the power of Hogan, even his finger! :P

damn you got owned dude. that match sucked and i haven't seen it but i heard about it on wrestlecrap. That is the wonderful booking that killed WCW. The Attitude Era in WWF was already killing WCW in rating and then they go ahead and do that. Hulk hogan just needed to get over just a little more to show thatr the old fart is unstoppable...even if it'd kill the comapn he worked in. Hell..wwf probably didn't even want him anymore. Him or any of the guys that left They had stone cold, mankind, taker , HBK, the rock. Some many stars that caryy the WWE today...or atleast made WWE what it is today. WCW had all these old guys who sooner or lated got stale and decided to do whatever the hell thy wanted because they thought they could and when bischoff got on them for it they threatened him that they would move to WWF. SO in all true bischoof ways he let em do whatever the hell they wanted. Yes, crap matches were created. Horrible storylines and bookings were made. And as Eric let thme do this because he thought that they were the lifeline of the company, his comapny was dying fast . So many things pissed fans off and added to the death of WCW. But that match was proably on the top list.

That's sad. Kevin " Of my quad " nash beat bill " ended bret hart's coreer with a crap kick" goldberg when he had that record....what the crap. It was all about the big guys putting eachother over. the big guys were Hogan and Nash and the sure did contribute.

i had a friend who was a true WCW fan. ANd he told me to wath Nitro...i watched a few seconds of it and turned. It was in like 99 and i remember the show where shane came on nitro and had the contract for WCW. Thus the HORRIBLE ...HORRIBLE invasion angle started.

Sorry about, The_Dude14! I watched both take place! (I am prett sure that finger poking thing happened in 1999, after Foley's first title win in late 1998, but I could be wrong). I always watched both shows and switched channels back-and-forth, watched more the Raw show though. Also (most of the time), I had two televisions on in my room, so I could watch both at the same time (I think that night, is when I had two televisions in my room).

1. Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar at Wrestle Mania XX: maybe not the worst match ever, but it was pretty disappointing and easily the worst match of the night

2. Any time Divas that try to wrestle, that do not know how to at all

3. WWE(F) Referee vs. Alliance/WCW Referee at Invasion pay-per-view (Referees wrestling, give me break)

4. A lot of the matches at the Great American Bash 2004 (I have concerns about getting this year's one, I might not get this year's, after last years mostly lame pay-per-view). Easily the worst pay-per-view of the year that I had seen, I only missed No Way Out 2004 and BackLash 2004, wish I am sure had to better than this (BackLash 2004 looked to be great pay-per-view, I wish I would have seen that one)

5. Halloween Havoc 1999 (the only and last WCW pay-per-view that I watched live/ordered, there was good reason that is was the last one I watched live/ordered too) WCW sucked at doing pay-per-view compared to the WWE/WWF (at least with this pay-per-view they did)

-Goldberg vs. Psycho Sid: match gets called because Sid was loosing too much blood, lame!!!

-Sting vs. Hogan: Hogan says something in Sting's ear, Hogan lays down on the mat and Sting pins him. Match over, lame!!! Stupider than the Famous Hogan vs. Nash match, at least I did not have to pay $30.00 on that Hogan vs. Nash match

-Sting vs Goldberg: way too short, Goldberg runs-over like someone as great as Sting in 5 minutes, lame!!! Especially when IMO, Sting can wrestle 2X or even 3X better than Goldberg can and should not get stupidly ran over like that (I am sorry Goldberg fans, but that is true IMO)

Sorry if anyone's feeling get hurt from what I have said, but INO, these matches were to stupid and lame!!!

Sadly, more dancing, than wrestling. Even the fans in the arena were booing at it, that is when you know it is bad.

Wrost match ever would be Al Snow vs Big Boss Man in Kennel in a Cell

So there's a regular cage attached to the ring, then there's the hell in a cell cage outside the ring, and between the two cages are "killer dogs". The match sucked, the dogs didn't do anything except poop and JR was laughing and appologized on the air for how bad the match was.

That's not why they were booing. They were booing because they heard Brock Lesnar was quiting and Goldberg didn't care about being with the WWE anymore. The match was built to be this great event between two studs and if the crowd wasn't aware of both of their situations, I'm sure the crowd would have taken it differently. Instead we get another example as to why a knowledgeable wrestling crowd is Vince's worst nightmare.

Yea, I remember that match now. I thought their fued in general was silly and lame (I mean, Bossman feeding Al Snow's dog to Snow was really weird and seem stupid) that match sounds some what interesting on paper, but turned out to be crap (literally).

By the way, that was the best part of the match, how the dogs were running and pooping between the two the cages and the announcing from JR (that must have made a couple sick that were near the ring watching the match). By the way, (I do not remember), did JR really appologize on a air for how bad that match was or joshing me (sounds like you are joshing me about that part)?

Most definitely, they're the reason wrestling shifted during the Attitude era. Now we're almost back to how it was pre-Attitude with bad gimmicks and expectations that we the fans aren't very smart.

I always watched both shows and switched channels back-and-forth, watched more the Raw show though. Also (most of the time), I had two televisions on in my room, so I could watch both at the same time (I think that night, is when I had two televisions in my room).

They were the same night. The main event was suppossed to be the rematch of Goldberg and Kevin Nash. However, Goldberg was accused of "sexual harrassment" by Miss Elizabeth, and Hogan took his place in the match.

As the story goes, WWF Raw was not a live show at the time, and WCW spoiled the ending by telling everyone that Foley would win the title, in an attempt to keep people watching Nitro. Instead, the ratings showed that people turned on Raw, instead of Nitro.

SwimPUNK

Yea, I remember that match now. I thought their fued in general was silly and lame (I mean, Bossman feeding Al Snow's dog to Snow was really weird and seem stupid) that match sounds some what interesting on paper, but turned out to be crap (literally).

By the way, that was the best part of the match, how the dogs were running and pooping between the two the cages and the announcing from JR (that must have made a couple sick that were near the ring watching the match). By the way, (I do not remember), did JR really appologize on a air for how bad that match was or joshing me (sounds like you are joshing me about that part)?

I'm pretty sure he did though. I remember watching it on PPV and I am almost positive that JR apologized for it.

i read on a website that the dogs were crapping, peeing ang humping. One died

LOL, i remember that match. That was just so lame it was funny.

Try being there and missing out on Foley's first WWF Title win. WCW died on that night, for The Dude. You can't change the chammel when there live

That was a sad day for Nitro as Tony Schivone actually said something to the effect of "Mick Foley won the WWF title, like that'll put asses in the seats."

Yeah, in Mick Foley's second book he practically bragged about that exact fact for like a couple of pages.
