Backlash seems to be an interesting PPV. Can Orton still keep his title? Will the Brothers of Destruction keep their newly won titles as well? Discuss your thoughts and predictions for WWE's upcoming PPV later this month.

Based on what occured on RAW this past week, it's expected that RAW's main event will be Orton vs. JBL. I wouldn't be surprised if Hunter and Cena get thrown into the mix to make it a fatal-four-way though. I'm looking forward to what happens next with Michaels, Jericho, and Kennedy mind you.

Show vs. Khali doesn't interest me one bit - especially after their prior feud leading up the Punjabi Prison match some time ago which turned out to be Show vs. Taker. I'd rather see Show vs. Umaga.

The only thing that's going to interest me is Batista/Michaels if they even play it off as a feud.mja2k3

Who knows we might see the WWE World Tag Titles make the show now that Cryme Time are back and got a win over Murdoch and Cade. :shock:

Short of some sort of gimmick (TLC, Ladder, Hardcore, Etc), has there ever even been great triple-treat tag-team match? :?

well im not shure its been so long sence we have had one but the clost one i can think of whould be from survivor series when they had the first elimination chamber match

it was like kurt and Chris Benoit vs edge and rey vs Los Guerreros

it was a damn good match

Well it looks like two matches have been confirmed as of last night:

World Heavyweight Championship match: Undertaker vs. Edge

ECW Championship match: Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero

And I think definitely Batista vs. Shawn Michaels will be added in the coming weeks. Looks like Batista might make a heel turn.

with the possibility of Punk vs. Jericho, this show could be great.

I can see WWE do with Jericho/Punk what they did with Benji/RVD a few years back and have a "MitB vs. IC Title - Winner take all" match at Backlash.

I can see MVP vs. Matt Hardy as a givin.

And probably JBL vs. Orton, so Orton can add another person to his list before he loses the title.

And it will probably be Cena vs. HHH for #1 contendership.

I think they will wait for Punk vs. Y2J Money in the Bank vs. IC Championship winner take all (Oh that would be nice.)

first of all, that was a ladder match. that doesn't count as a tag anything. second of all, there were four teams.

I think at backlash they should have Randy Orton vs JBL, Batista vs Shawn Michaels, and a Match between Matt Hardy, the Big Show and chris Jericho for contendership for the WWE Championship

Seriously, does anybody actually want to see a JBL-Orton singles match? Much less pay to see it? That just seems like an awful match to me.

Also, from business standpoint, I do not think it would exactly help matters, either, that Randy Orton, guy who is post be number 1 heel in the company, would most likely be the one receiving the cheers, if only by default.

Other than that, I suppose they could do worse. For example, from personal standpoint, all of those Holly-JBL television matches from years back, springs to mind.

We all know that Orton going to keep it or JBL will get it, and the reason is that WWE has I think going to give the WWE Championship to more heels this unlike past years.

well i dont really think batista or hbk is the heel of the match. Batista is just pisses off of what hbk did, wont you be a little mad if your mentor had to retire, so they both are good( on the other hand this is script...)smokingsbad

Anyway, new match added to the card.....a U.S. title defense.

I haven't seen much of Punk yet, but what I have saw was pretty cool. I think it would be entertaining to see Punk and Jericho's styles clash. Of course, I still want Jericho to win. :D

I haven't liked JBL since, well, ever.JBL simply can't perform in my opinion. At a recent PPV he ruined a part of the match by botching Jericho's face-crusher simply because he could not stand up when he was supposed to. And I bet Jericho lost a few fans from it too, not everyone can understand whose fault it is when those things happen. At least Orton has gotten his messing up things under control as he gained more experience, mostly. JBL has been in the WWE for what, a decade? What is his excuse? I think it would be his back. Right. Why is he wrestling then? Especially as a main-eventer.

He's also one of those people in the WWE that talks crap and acts like a jerk as a character, but I have a feeling in my heart he probably acts about the same in reality. Maybe I'm wrong and he's just THAT great of an pretender, but I doubt it. I think it's just close to reality.

This match looks like it could be good with Mickie James' team has only a few that know how to wrestle, and Beth Phoenix's team only has a few too that know how to wrestle, but who knows, it could be a good match.

But I can say that WWE has done good by pushing HBK and Batista's match, but ever since Batista's match at 'mania 24 he has been nothing but horrible, I other words even his match was bad Vs. Umaga.

Anyway this could be a good PPV but I'm going to try and save some money, and not get this one, but all I'm going to say is I hope Kane can keep his Championship.
