The year is coming to a close, and what a year it's been for SmackDown. General Manager Theodore Long is sure to have a jam-packed show ready to close out 2005. What kind of surprises will the GM have in store?

Batista and Rey Mysterio defend their Tag Team Championship against Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro. Can MNM get back their gold? Find out this Friday night.

Melina and her attorney will hold a press conference on Friday Night SmackDown. Click here for Melina's statement.

Also, Chris Benoit finally got a win under his belt at Armageddon in his Best of Seven Series against Booker T for the United States Championship. With the win, is the momentum starting to swing towards the Rabid Wolverine? Or will Booker be unaffected by the loss at Armageddon. This rivalry will surely continue to heat up on SmackDown.

Raw has a good tag team division?!?!?  Hell no they don't!  They have a thrown together team of Big Show and Kane, who have literally squashed every contending team, to which there are only 3 TOTAL TEAMS.  The thrown together teams of Tomko-Snitzky and Venis-Viscera, who have been squashed in a Triple Threat Tag Match and the Heartthrobs, who were squashed by Kane.  How the hell is that good?

Smackdown's division may have its problems, but at least there's potential for good matches.  Raw's division is a black hole, because all it does is suck.  Even if Kane and Big Show weren't squashing everyone, NONE of the Raw Tag Teams looks even capable of putting on a decent match, even if their lives depended on it.  I'll take good wrestlers who Smackdown has idiotically squashed with rookies, who can have great matches, than Raw's crap who Raw thankfully squashed, because anything over 5 minutes would be awful!

They (RAW) could get better in the blink of an eye though.... And the Helms/Rosey team wasn't all that bad, even though they disbanded.

However, LSU-Miami and the random Bond movies on Spike have left me not watching much of Smackdown.  I can say that Melina's sexual harrassment angle went waaaayyy too long, it was like the old days whenever I saw McMahon and would flip over to Nitro, or Triple H, now, and I flip over to ANYTHING ELSE, and flip back to see their STILL TALKING.

Funniest part:  Benoit staring a hole in Booker T and Booker T's facial expression and "Why's he looking at me?" line.
