Monday WWE news!
- WWE has announced a Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton World Title Cage Match for the May 25th Smackdown taping in Cincinnati, OH.
- WWE management was apparently very surprised at the low rating for WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.
- Carlito could end up getting into the Money in the Bank Ladder Match by winning a match at the Smackdown taping tonight.
- WWE released developmental talent Chris Cage over the weekend. The move is said to be a disciplinary one. Cage was doing well in OVW.
- Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James for the WWE Women's Title and Torrie Wilson vs. Candice Michelle in a Playboy Pillow Fight have been added to the WrestleMania 22 card.

5. WTF? Who gives a crap, really. This years Wrestlemania is gonna suck. Cena vs HHH? Boogeyman vs Booker T? Taker vs Henry? And now this? Im glad I didnt buy tickets.
Well it is a SECOND chance battle royal so I think they're going to let anyone who lost a MITB qualifier be in the match. If Carlito manages to win, then he is the only person I could see winning the MITB match, besides RVD. I know Shelton is a great candidate to win, but since he is IC Champion I don't see him winning it. Now all I have to decide is to put Lashley or Carlito in my fantasy b/c one of them will win the Last Chance Battle Royal.

Hopefully, then, it will be the wake-up call the WWE desperately needs.

However, there have got to be at least a dozen different wrestlers and matches that I'd rather see than Torrie vs Anonymous Bimbo 7 in a freakin' Pillow Fight. I hated having two women's matches at 20, I still hate it now. To think these two get time and a paycheck from the biggest show of the year while London, Kendrick, Gibson, Super Crazy and MNM are currently planning a No Limit Texas Hold 'em Tourney backstage while they do nothing sickens me.
Torrie-Candice have match at wrestlemania... and its pillow fight.... well, it does not get much worse than that.... yet another crapfest match for wrestlemania 22... great. :roll:
I do not think that Carlito is going to be the last person in MITB match... I do not see WWE having him pull double-duty, or dropping his from his match with Masters against Show/Kane, or for that matter.... dropping the match all together, so....
Imagine the winner of the last chance battle royal, for MITB, will be Lashley, in all likely hood.

Also it's very typical of the WWE to not announce matches until a couple days before, but I'm 95% positive that the WWE will have MNM defend their titles. I'm also pretty sure that the London/Helms match for the CW Title is gonna happen at Mania as well.

I thought WWE was going to toss some last minute matches in last year, but they didn't and this year's Wrestlemania already has more matches than last year's, so I'm not optimistic, especially about a 1 on 1 Cruiserweight match. Hell, the last time London won a #1 Contender's shot on Velocity, it was forgotten. London would win the CW Title in a Battle Royal when Chavo got hurt. Also, WWE's been too busy jobbing out MNM to the main eventers to protect Mark Henry that they've got nothing.
Also, its going Mark Henry vs The Undertaker is going to take an hour... to get to the ring (or maybe it just feel like an hour).

I can just imagine London and Kendrick's faces when they are playing.... acting like they're bluffing and whatnot. :lol:
EDIT: Now that I think about it, this is definitely a bad sign for the WWE when I enjoy talking about some of their best superstars playing in a card tournament and not WrestleMania. :|
Wow, thats freakin horrible. Candice vs Torrie in a pillow fight? At WM? Disgusting. It just occured to me MNM doesnt have a match at Mania. Is the WWE freakin that stupid? Their biggest tag team and tag champs need to be a part of that show. What they should do is put them over Show and Kane (they easily deserve it) in an interpromotional match champs vs champs, leave Masters out of Mania all together, and put Carlito in MITB for Flair. (or even Finlay)
Well WWE is probably going to let somebody else win because Carlito is in the Tag match and they wouldn't want to lose that match but we would be lucky if he will win
Trish vs Mickie is a good match because there was some buildup to that match and there will be the womens title on the line.
Candice Michelle vs Torrie will not be so great but bring WM down some more because this is mostly to sell for eyecandy.
So far WM isn't looking so good and they have alot of matches but no MNM, Londricks, and Mexicools yet :(
OK, if Carlito gets in MITB II here's what I see happening. Masters and Carlito win the World Tag-Team Championship and immediatly after comes the MITB where Carlito for the most part stays out of the action in the beggining. Then close to the end they making interesting by having RVD and Carlito fighting for the briefcase with everyone else laid out on the outside.
