If you're going to switch around the announce teams then put Lawler on SD in exchange for JBL. Why take Tazz away from ECW? That makes no sense, and if I remember correctly didn't Lawler and Joey Styles have this huge fight when the new ECW brand was forming and Lawler supposedly hates ECW because it's just a bunch of "mental patients" hitting eachother with weapons until one falls down. If you ask me that seems to completely contradict that storyline that probably no one remembers.
I hope Mark Henry negotiates a new deal with the E because I think I speak for...absolutely no one when I say I kind of like him on SD. They just need to put him in REAL matches instead of 30 second squashes.
Not surprised to hear Flair is retiring. Hopefully the storyline doesn't suck major balls.
-Mark Henry's contract is about to end and he still has not entered into negotiations for a new deal. His upcoming match with the Undertaker could be his last in the WWE.Link256Kinda makes me fell like Riverdancing. Possibly the biggest failed experiment in WWE history.
-Look for a Ric Flair retirement storyline to start very soon. The plan is to kick off the angle and finish it up between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.Link256I expect that they'll give Flair a proper send-off, ie one that hopefully does not involve kissing Vince's ass or rectal surgery. Flair has certainly earned one.
-Monday Night was a test run to see how JR and Tazz would work as a team. Apparently Vince has wanted to break up JR and Lawler for a while due to feeling that they are too Southern, which Kevin Dunn doesn't like. If they split the team, Lawler would go to ECW to work with JoeyS t l ye sand also wrestle from time to time. Dusty Rhodes really wants Lawler with the ECW brand. Obviously JR and Lawler are very close, and it is imagined that neither would be happy with the change.Too southern? How many years have JR and Lawler been the voices of Raw? And now they're too southern? That is idiocy.

However, while their reasoning may be pure idiocy, I actually wouldn't mind a shake up of announcers. Though I can live without Lawler altogether, I think he's been routinely bad-to-awful for seven or eight years now, ever since he stopped being the heel announcer to being the ADD and completely not funny announcer. I also think he's grown complacent alongside JR. I kinda like the JR-Tazz combo and Joey-King areserviceable as a team, though Lawler being the ECW announcer doesn't necessarily sit well.
I'm not sure this would be well-recieved. When Heyman replaced King when Lawler and WWE had their falling out, Heyman was panned by the fans, even though I, personally, loved Heyman's commentary.
If you're going to switch around the announce teams then put Lawler on SD in exchange for JBL. Stargazmo69Because Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are awful and are an awful announce team. Keep JBL on Smackdown to carry Cole along on his back.
I'm sure almost everyone is going to love Henry being released.
Hopefully Flair goes out like the legend he is should.
In my opinion they should keep all the announcing teams the same. Lawler and Ross have been together so long that they should stay together. As long as you're calling ECW ECW then you should have their old announcer and old star there (Styles and Tazz) if you change the name (like I think they should) then it's not as important to me. And JBL should stay with Cole to make fun of him. Sometimes it's the only reason to watch Smackdown.

What part of JBL going side-by-side with most anyone would make sense?
At the end of the day, while I am all for logic and continuity, when it comes to broadcasting teams, in regards to this rule, I think that is where the exception will come into play, otherwise, you will most likely find errors all over the place, probably going far back as the days of Monsoon-Ventura and beyond.
