Hometown Slaughter?
http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/preview/

When Friday Night SmackDown rolls into San Diego this week, it could be a hometown slaughter for World Champion Rey Mysterio.

Last week, Rey said he would fight anyone at anytime; JBL took advantage of Rey’s words, making him a match against Mark Henry. After the World’s Strongest Man defeated and assaulted Mysterio, JBL continued to make Rey eat his words, making a match between Mysterio and The Great Khali for this week.

A proud and fighting man, Rey Mysterio will not back down from his word, especially in front of his family and friends in San Diego. But with an opponent who is over seven feet tall and 420 pounds on the other side of the ring, there seems to be no way that Rey will leave the 619 intact.

Also this week, Finlay will meet Bobby Lashley in a King of the Ring tournament semi-final match. The winner will move on to face Booker T in the finals at Judgment Day. Lashley took exception to Booker T’s words last week, telling the 5-time WCW Champion that he would defeat him. But first, Lashley must get by Finlay, a man he has never beaten. The two have built quite a rivalry in recent months; can Lashley finally overcome the fighting Irishman, or will Finlay punch his ticket to the finals?

Don’t miss what’s sure to be an eventful edition of SmackDown this Friday night at 8/7 CT on UPN.

I will not be watching Smackdown this week.  Even if I were available to watch it, I'd probably choose not too.  The only thing I'd like to see is the "It'd be so much better in any other promotion" 3-Way to be #1 Contender to the CW Title between Kid Kash vs Super Crazy vs Nunzio, which isn't even mentioned in the preview.

Smackdown has been drawing record low ratings in recent weeks (and I'm sure its all Mysterio's fault  ), it wouldn't shock me if they bottomed out this week.  Part of me (the mean side), would really get a chuckle if they did.

Ughh.... I might watch, but that's only if I don't find something to do by the time it actually comes on.  Although Batista and Kennedy returning soon and Angle looking to get back into the swing of things, after missing just a couple of weeks, SD! may recover in time for the summer.... but as of right now they're in the crapper, so it's really up in the air if I watch.

Well since I've just started watching WWE I watch both RAW and Smackdown! every week. I'm looking forward to the Rey vs. The Great Khali match but Rey is going to get destroyed.:(

I have seen some things and I will be going chat as always, but will most likely be watching something else instead of SD this week, I think Vince is more focused on RAW than SD sadly, and RAW still havent caught a break IMHO *Cough Cena as Champion Cough*

I'll watch, only cause i always watch it if i can. But I agree I'd LMAO if they bottomed out cause I came really, really close to turning it after they continue the Benoit always gets screwed thing. And during the main event, i'll probably fall asleep (because it don't come on where i live untill 11 and ends at 1).

I watched it and it was pretty good. The cruiser triple threat was brilliant IMO and the finlay vs. lashley was good coming up to the end.
