*Matt Hardy & John Morrison defeated The Hart Dynasty.

*Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth never happened as Drew attacked before the bell, got on the mic & left.

*Michelle McCool came out on crutches saying Melina injured her knee last week and sat ring side as Melina beat Layla. Afterwords Melina shoved McCool off her chair.

*Mike Knox had an interview interrupted by Finlay.

*WWE Intercontinental champion Rey Mysterio beat Kane by DQ. Khali then attacked Kane & Dolph attacked Rey.

*Chris Jericho vs. Shad started off as a 1-on-1, but turned into a rematch from Summerslam. Big Show knocked out Shad with a punch.

*World champion CM Punk defeated Jeff Hardy in an awesome cage match. Jeff then bid farewell to the fans, but said "When the time is right, I'll see you all again."

*Jeff then walked around the rails thanking the fans, JR. Grisham & others. Once he got to the stage Punk attacked him again. Punk then went to the ring, grabbed the mic & interrupted by Taker who chokeslammed him. Punk was carried out by 4 refs as DX came out for a dark 6man tag.

This irritates me. Why would Punk put his career on the line here? What does have to gain by doing that? Would it not been smarter move on Punk's behalf to just make it a title vs. career match instead?

After a loser leaves WWE match, Hardy says "i'll see you again" does not go together.

Plus, Cena-Orton get an I Quit match whilst Punk-Taker get a normal submission match. Oh well at least it is submissions.

Punk thinks he's better than Jeff obviously. He beat Jeff in his signature match

I think that the card also looks solid, but I think WWE needs to stop pushing R-Truth. :|

God this match at Breaking Point really could make or break Punks career with WWE, I don't think Undertaker and the WWE are stupid enough to not understand that if you make Undertaker tap out on his first match back, you basicly put yourself over as a heel for life.

The card looks solid, and for once the show looks to me really good so i will probably be watching it.

Hopefully Punk will beat the crap of Jeff Hardy in the cage fairly, by that i mean what you all want to see, he just destroys him.

I think the whole thing in which Jeff thanks the fans and says "I'll see you when the time is right" or whatever he said, was probably for the fans live and probably will not be on the show when it airs friday

- At last night's WWE Smackdown tapings, Jeff Hardy lost a loser leaves WWE cage match to World Champion CM Punk.

- Jeff Hardy has been told by WWE management that the door is always open for him to return to the company. They also told him that if they could help him with any of his outside projects, such as his band Peroxwhy?gen or his potential reality show, that they would gladly work him into their "synergy".

- Hardy explained that he was not leaving the company due to unhappiness. He simply wants time off of the road, so that he can do things at his own pace.

- Most feel that it will be when, not if for his return. The feeling is that his departure is similar to Chris Jericho's a few years ago. Jericho left to work on acting and music projects, and then returned to the company, and with a more prominent position.

- Hardy has received a ton of praise for his final months with the company. The feeling is that he helped bring CM Punk to a new level in the company, and now Punk is a legit force to go against the Undertaker, which will cement his position on the Smackdown side of things. It is thought that Hardy helped with Punk's evolution to one of, if not the top heel in the company.

Looks great but it makes me think why didn't they just go with a 'Loser Leaves WWE' Match at SS?

WWE have a history of finishing off careers or title reigns because of something or anything like that with rubber matches.

I'm thinking Matt came back from injury too quick. I'm guessing its to facilitate the Hardy reunion, which in the long haul is probably a good thing, but Matt doesn't look near 100%.
