PREVIEW FOR THURSDAY'S HUGE "iMPACT!" ON SPIKE TV: STING/ANGLE VS. TEAM 3D, DEBUT OF FOLEY'S "HARDCORE HISTORY" AND MORE

This Thursday night, TNA Wrestling returns to SpikeTV at 9pm ET for two hours of Total Nonstop Action - featuring the aftermath of the "Against All Odds".

The following is an early preview of what will take place on the broadcast - card is subject to change:

- Immediately after Against All Odds, TNAwrestling.com learned that a match was made for this Thursday night with still-TNA World Champion Sting and Kurt Angle teaming up to take on Team 3D! The question is, what will happen between Sting and Angle? Will Sting and Angle find a way to get along - or will we witness the meltdown of the Main Event Mafia this Thursday night on SpikeTV? Can Team 3D avenge their loss at the PPV?

- Speaking of The Main Event Mafia, TNA Legend's Champion Booker T will address the actions of "The Phenomenal" AJ S_tyles at the Pay-Per-View!

- The broadcast will also feature the debut of Mick Foley's "Hardcore History", a new weekly segment where the legend shares some of his favorite behind-the-scenes wrestling stories from throughout his career!

- At Against All Odds, Samoa Joe appeared and told Scott Steiner he was about to be the first victim of his "nation of violence". What does The Samoan Submission Machine have planned for Steiner? Will Joe appear this Thursday night? Tune in and find out!

- There will be a Knockouts Gauntlet Match on "iMPACT!" as it will be Taylor Wilde vs. Angelina Love vs. ODB vs. Raisha Saeed vs. Roxxi vs. Velvet Sky vs. Sojo Bolt vs. Rhaka Khan vs. Madison Rayne

- Plus, still-TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc. will battle the juggernaut tandem of "The War Machine" Rhino and the maniacal Abyss!

Also, Jericho gets better every week.

EDIT 2: The advertising of Undertaker in that promo reminds me of the times when he was returning. Why doesn't he play the mind games anymore? PG-rating make it too scary for the kids or sommut?

For the most part, this feud has been bad. These two dont mesh well.

Pardon the pun but... OMG. Joey Styles was a horrible commentator back in the Original ECW days. Almost makes him bearable from a few years ago in the WWE.

Well looks like it'll be Christian vs. Jack Swagger at WrestleMania then. Surprised he didn't come back into the Edge/Hardy/Hardy feud. On the other hand, ECW needs some big names now Hardy's gone. Finlay, Henry & Swagger as the only top guys would've been pretty bad. I mean, Morrison & Miz are very rarely on ECW anymore, and they're still ECW stars so...

But when Christian left, I was still meh about him. Now he's back, I see he's improved AMAZINGLY in TNA. Awesome promo.

EDIT: Natalya joins ECW, along with newbie Tyson Kidd. Not much time in the ring, but of what he showed, it's fairly good. Spot-on kick to the nose to the jobber too.

At least if he was put on Smackdown he would have decent people to feud with unlike the Tuesday Night Heat roster which offeres hardly any watchable matchups for him. Also, he would'nt even have to interact with Edge to get over. Instead, they are using him to fill the incredible bland shoes of Matt Hardy! Terrible.

It was prior to ECW being on. It was an ECW history thingy show with Raven vs. Dreamer in Japan in '96. Joey actually sounded worse than a fangirl screaming.

honestly, Styles and Striker have no personality and are very boring, at least the TNA guys try to get into the action. And also, Hornswaggles little huffs and screams are really annoying.LEGOslayer

Of course Don West gets into the action. That is the problem. He gets into the action too damn much, to the point where you just want to smack him silly.

Not to mention, if the Don West being a ADD kid on crack was not bad enough, he and Tenay will NEVER shut the *** up, to the point where they are CONSTANTLY TALKING DURING PROMOS, when it is most important he do that very thing they seem incapable of doing: SHUTTING THE **** UP

While, as I said, Striker is not "Mr. Personality," the guy just knows his stuff (accidentally left out that last part, before).

I've always thought of Joey Styles as an acquired taste.

I remember watching ECW on TNN and really not being a fan of Joey. I also couldn't stand Fonzie and the ****ing whistle, whatsoever. Flash forward a few years, I like Joey and I don't even notice Fonzie... even occasionally miss him in some matches.

call me crazy but i actually got to see ECW and i like christian on ECW why you ask

on Raw Cena would likely bury him as he buries everyone and christians return may end up looknig sucky and pointless

smackdown you have a similar problem of him getting buried or killing MVP or Shelton for the US title and id rather those 2 not get crushed or you risk christians return looknig stupid and pointless or you completely throw off the edge and hardy storyline that was going and now the edge and big show story line and risk again christian not getting the big return bang push

ECW though needs a big face and swagger losing the title looks like a far more and far less damaging thing as swagger is yound and new and needs to lose a little bit not bury him like mvp but he doesnt need an unbeatable streak going which is good they got rid of it. but beating swagger i feel is far easier to do and far more likely than beating edge or Cena and this can be a good wya to warm christian up to getting a WWE title reign as well.

all and all i say ECW is the best chance he had of not getting lost in the shuffle and can be the hero of the show like matt hardy and really stand out.

Plus, I think important to point out that has been 3 years since Christian was with the WWE. That is 3 years of new fans who have formed since who have no idea who Christian is. And that is 3 years for the fans who were already in place to forget about him.

And how about we honest for a moment here? While I love Christian and all, regardless of all that, Christian was nothing but jobber to the stars before his WWE departure. Better that he be on ECW, where he has plenty of room so he can build his cred. Besides, I think goes without saying, the brand was in some serious need of establish talent, and Christian is able to fill that void.

Otherwise, what the hell else were they going do with him? Raw is over-booked with talent as it is, and with Edge being on SmackDown, I simply do not trust the WWE do the right thing there.

As far as I am concerned, ECW was the right choice.

By the way, speaking of Christian's return to the WWE, what are your thoughts on the matter Dude?

I am glad to see him return, I just wish that it was on Raw or something. Where it would get more attention. Smackdown couldn't give a good return, just because I think Smackdown sucks. ECW is a good place to start though, just because SuperCena and Edge are not on it.

Swagger came out and blamed Hornswoggle for losing his first match to Finlay last week. Swagger calls out Hornswoggle, but instead Christian comes out saying he's challenging the winner of the ECW title match at No Way Out for the belt. Teddy then makes a match of Christian vs. Swagger, Hornswoggle & Finlay interfere and Christian beats Swagger.

Pretty much it.

As reported yesterday, Monday's edition of WWE Raw scored a 3.4 cable rating, which was down from last week's 3.6. The show did hours of 3.34 and 3.50. Here are the quarter hour breakdowns:
