Survival of the fittest
November 19, 2007

After a brutal night of battles at Survivor Series, sunny Fort Lauderdale, Fla., will feel the fallout when Monday Night Raw emanates from the Bank Atlantic Center.

With Raw's Triple H and Jeff Hardy surviving the tri-branded Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match, Umaga is out to avenge his team's loss. He'll get his chance tonight as Hardy and the Samoan Bulldozer face off one-on-one in the ring. Will the bitterness from Survivor Series carry over as the current and previous Intercontinental Champion square off?

Randy Orton retained the WWE Championship at Survivor Series, defeating Shawn Michaels. What will the WWE Champion have to say about his victory? And will HBK be looking to settle the score (or earn a rematch)?

Another Superstar out to settle a score will be Santino Marella, who suffered a loss to Jerry Lawler last week after "The King" defended his Raw announcing colleague and friend Jim Ross' honor against the fiery Italian's insults. Will Marella be able to extract some revenge?

And finally, after months of sleuthing by fans and cyber-cryptologists, what will happen when the billions of lines of binary code are finally broken and deciphered? (Try to break the code. Check out this video gallery.)

To find out the answers, tune in to Monday Night Raw from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., live at 9/8 CT on USA Network.

Surviving
November 20, 2007

ECW Champion CM Punk overcame the battle of numbers at Survivor Series when he earned a victory in Sunday's Triple Threat ECW Title Match to kick off the pay-per-view. WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz have kept the Straightedge Superstar's hands full on ECW on Sci Fi. Will they continue making their runs for the gold? In the meantime, will they be able to successfully defend their new titles despite their differences? Do they have more than CM Punk on their minds now that they are also participating in SmackDown action?

Also, Kane sent a bold message to Big Daddy V - crushing his cohort mentor Matt Striker - just days before the two face off in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. At the pay-per-view, however, Big Daddy V got the last laugh when he eliminated Kane from the competition. What more will brew between these two monsters?

Kelly Kelly & Michelle McCool proved victorious against Melina & Layla on ECW on Sci Fi. To top it off, Kelly found herself a member of the winning team in the 10 Diva Tag Team Match on Sunday. Will her success in the ring continue?

Find out the answers to all of these questions and more on the next ECW on Sci Fi on Tuesday at 10/9 CT. Also, be sure to catch ECW in its entirety every week on WWE.com, available from Wednesday to the following Monday afternoon.

A bitter Edge returns
November 23, 2007

Edge did what he did best and shocked the world at Survivor Series when he returned and cost Undertaker the chance to regain the World Heavyweight Championship held by Batista during an epic Hell in a Cell encounter. What does the Rated-R Superstar's return signify for all of SmackDown, and why did the outspoken, aggressive former champion target Undertaker? In a WWE Mobile exclusive, Edge claimed he would say all he needed to say on Friday night. What will Edge have to say about his actions at Survivor Series, and how will The Phenom and The Animal react?

MVP claimed that because of his attack on Matt Hardy that his former partner would not be at Survivor Series to compete. The Ballin' Superstar's words may have proven true, but even with the one man advantage in Hardy's absence, the United States Champion could only watch as his team was taken down by team captain Triple H and Matt's brother, Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy. How will MVP react to being part of a losing team for the second straight Survivor Series? Will Matt Hardy find his way to SmackDown on Friday to confront his former partner?

Finlay was a member of Umaga's losing team earlier, but the Irishman's night was not finished, because his longtime companion Hornswoggle took on the massive Great Khali. With Khali looking to apply his devastating Vise Grip, Finlay attacked, leveling the Punjab Giant with the shillelagh and protecting the pint-sized McMahon family member. What will Khali have in store for Finlay after the attack, and will the hard-hitting Irishman continue to swing the shillelagh to protect Hornswoggle?

Find out the answers to these questions and more Friday night at 8/7 CT on The CW Network.

I will be watching RAW tonight for the first time in months. I can't Jericho returning. Plus I want to see what is up with Hardy, it seems like they are prepping him for the main event.

Glad we have a good leader who remembers to post this weekly post. :)

Anyhow, bets on this being the highest rated RAW of this year with Y2J return?

Hoping get more Santino talking, and less of the King wrestling. :)

I have been since he came back. Besides there aren't too many wrestlers I enjoying watching anymore. Basically the ones I loved when I was younger, i.e Hardyz, HHH, Jericho, but I dislike Taker.

I told my girlfriend if she comes over tonight, the only show we're watching is Raw. Missing Jericho's return would suck too much. Maybe even the towel will be watching.

Yeah, I'm going to put my best effort into watching tonight. Its going to be difficult to fight the urge to change the channel whenever Trips or Vince show up though. Its instinct these days. Don't want to miss it today.

And when it turns out to be Bobby Lashley, I'm ****ing done. Just figure I'd lower everyone's expectations, just in case.

Pretty good way to start Raw. Kennedy vs HBK could be a great feud if done right.

Is it just me or is Orton actually getting worse at promos from week to week?

I usually blame the writing, but that actually could have been a good promo if delivered well. I swear, wasn't there a time where Orton could cut a promoor am I imagining it? Didn't he not suck so bad when he was feuding with Foley when it came to talking?

He'll probably interupt the torch passing, so expect to see him at about 10:03, central time.

Just a guess btw, I don't know for sure.

Can you smell the money in Snitzky and Umaga vs Jeff and Trips? Neither can I.

However, judging from the last two nights, it looks like Trips has taken a genuine interest in getting Jeff Hardy over that hump so to speak that Hardy has been so close to getting over for so long, which is good for Jeff and possibly good for everyone if Jeff keeps up his current work ethic. When Trips decides to put someone over, he does it right.

When Jeff and Umaga got out of first gear in that match, it was really, really good. Waaaayyyy too much nerve pinch, but when it got moving, that was excellent. Not so sure about TNAing it up with pretty nonsensical run ins and with Super H saving the day, but again, at least, he didn't Pedigree Hardy, too. Its a step in the right direction.

I got mad when Snitsky came down andattacked Hardy, 'cause Hardy was going to win that match.

Probably would win "Most honest moment in Wrestling" for the year.

I hate Jillian's singing angle...but I'm not sure if thats a good thing really. Mickie's new finishing move is...interesting to say the least.

is it just me, or did the whole jericho thing seem a bit UNDERwhelming?..I mean, its nice to see him back and all..but i wasnt really as excited, since i KNEW he was going to come...

An example would be the rock, jus comes out of nowhere ala wrestlemania promo on raw...remember? I knew bout the whole code thing..It was a good entrance and good pop from the croud and all, but anyone else agree?

I couldn't disagree more, I knew it was coming and I still loved the hell out of it. Jericho's promo was one of the best promos he's ever cut and Randy Orton saying very little did wonders for the whole moment.

WWE's getting pretty good; HBK/Kennedy feud, Jeff Hardy is getting a good push and I like whats happening with him and HHH, Hardy and Umaga was having a great match (Snitskiys interfierance? WTF?!) Ric Flairs coming back, Y2J is back Y2J/Orton feud, Edge is back, things are getting pretty good in my opinion.

"Child bearing hips" cracked me up. But everything else did seem rather underwhelming (as someone rightfully pointed out). But I'm not complaining. RAW should get a little more exciting now that Y2J is back.

I was hoping for Y2J to come out and tease us with a Dean Malenko comeback and Jericho just listing his various holds. Whatever.

Ijust marked out for the first time since Edge beat Cena at New Years Revolution a few years ago.. I knew it was coming and it was still awesome. That crowd sucked though. Almost like none of them knew who he was.WWEMAN101
You didn't hear the massive cheers and the repeated Y2J chants?

I thought RAW was quite enjoyable last night. Like some have said about Jericho, I'm happy he came back but was not all that excited. They could've done a tease and almost made us gave hope he was there, and then boom, out of nowhere, he shows up the last minute. Anyways that was a good highlight of the night. As for MOTN, I enjoy the Hardy/Umaga match. We should see more action like this on WWE TV. I don't know if Hardy is getting a push, but he does deserve it because he have work really hard to get to where he is at.

I can't wait till tonight to see what they will do. Let's have at least one good match on ECW.
