I think there has been too many great WWE/F champions to say one is the best of them all, but I will name a few greats
My List
1. Bret Hart: Bret Hart was great for sure, he is former 5 time champion, he main-evented 3 Wrestlemania's and his WWF championship match with HBK at WM 12 legendary. He truly was great WWF/E champion and had some great matches with that championship.
2. HBK: he is former 3 Time WWF/E champion and is another great, his matches at WM 12 and 14 are both great matches. If anyone has ever truly earned the WWF/E championship, HBK did with his legendard match against Bret Hart at wrestlemania 12
3. The Rock: he is former 7 time WWF/E champion, he is great because he always was solid in the ring and had great matches with HHH for the WWF/E championship. Also, you simply have put him on the list because he has won the belt more than anyone else
4. Hulk Hogan: he is former 6 time WWF/E champion and with main-eventy wrestlemania, after wrestlemania of either winning or defeding the championship, he truly has earned his spot as one of the greats.
5. Stone Cold Steve Austin: he is former 6 time WWF/E champion, he great simply because of his huge popularity during his rein as champion. Other than Hogan, he has to the most popular WWF/E champion ever. Also, with his awesome matches at WM 14, 15, SS 1998 and countless other PPV's of being champion, he is on the list for a good reason.
Bret Hart hands down. Or Chris Benoit.-RKO
Chris Benoit was never the WWE/F champion, he was the World HW champion. Which, do not get me wrong, I am a big Chris Benoit fan, he was awesome champion and defended that championship all of the time (which I love). It just that the World HW championship and the WWE championship are two different championships, he has never been the WWE/E champion.

Ya I know. Why wouldnt the WHC count, when there the same titles just different show. The one man who has held it longer then anyone, Bruno Sammartino! He held the title for an incredible 7 years!

Ya I know. Why wouldnt the WHC count, when there the same titles just different show. They are NOT the same Championship Belts, the World HW championship is basically the old WCW Championship, while the WWE Championship is the classic big-time Championship in the WWE/F. So really, they are NOT both the same championship, that are just both World Championship belts, but that does not make them the same championship at all. Trust me, most people would agree with me on that they are NOT the SAME World Championship belts. The only thing you can say is that is the WWF and WWE championships are the same belt and the World HW, WCW and NWA (old WCW) championships are the same belt.

Ok currently what does the WHC belt signify? The highest belt available on SmackDown! What does the WWE Title signify? The highest belt available for Raw. I can see what your saying but when I said they're the same only different shows I meant ever since the WCW belt became the WHC, not when it was still in WCW and NWA.Please Log In to post.
