It looks like Vince wanted a reverse Mohammad Hassan. Instead of someone bashing the US for it's prejudice, it's someone who changed his whole life because of the prejudice so he's not being looked down upon anymore. It's a high concept gimmick which unfortuneately will turn into a joke and a stereotype.

The only good thing to come from this is that at least Chavo knows he won't be getting a call this week telling him to find another job.

MY TWO CENTS ON CHAVO!

Well, I think this gimmick is last attempt to save Chavo's career in the WWE, because IMHO he has been having trouble get over with the fans and finding something that gets him over with the fans in the last two years. Is it bad gimmick? Yes, there is no doubt about that.

Chavo either had to agree or probably be fired if he did not agree to it. Like I said, he probably did not have a lof of choice about it, his former Chavo character seem to have trouble getting over with the fans for the past two years (I think him becoming a Baby Face was amept to rekindle interest in his failing character, which his Baby Face character was horrible failure obviously).

His character was not getting a lot of fan support on SmackDown and seem like he was over exposed in the CWD (that is my answer to why he was moved in the trade), so there was not much for him to do, so this new gimmick is last attempt to save his WWE career. I think he will be fired from WWE by the end of the year, I hope he does, TNA or some other wrestling company would give him a chance for newer exposer and new chance to get over with some newer fans that he really needs IMHO.

I said the same thing. This "Kerwin White" or whatever they call him is really stupid, but i guess he had to do it if he wanted a job. In my opinion, I think he should have just quit and gone to TNA or ROH. His character now is just not all entertaining to me.

I think Chavo is a good actor and a talent in the ring. His gimmick was getting stale, but what more could he be?
Let's see what Kerwin does in the ring on Monday before we judge his new character. I wonder what his music will be...Probably not 'Oooh, Kerwin....'

That would be funny if that was his music, that would be too much. I am sure his new music will actually have something to do with being a typical american and along those kind of lines.
