Ashley's WWE return, Snitsky qualifies for Royal Rumble match, and more

WWE Diva, Ashley Massaro, made her return to the company yesterday after being away for a few months due to her involvement with the Survivor show. However, the news here is that Ashley made her return at the RAW house show in White Plains, NY, where she addressed the crowd. She is believed to be a part of the RAW brand now.

Also at last nights RAW house show, Snitsky won a Royal Rumble qualifying match against Drew McIntyre. WWE has decided to do Rumble qualifying matches not just on free TV, but at some house shows as well, which is a good selling point for those who still haven't bought tickets to house shows.

Unfortunately for WWE, this year's Survivor Series drew only 340,000 buys according to the first released numbers. This is short of last year's 395,000, and 2005's 405,000. The company was ahead in buys as compared to last year when it came to No Mercy and Cyber Sunday.

For the week ending on December 30, the RAW show that was WWE's Tribute to the Troops finished in the 22nd spot from all ad-supported series. ESPN was first in the prime time rating battle with USA, as has been the case just about every week since football started.

I concur with the above statement. Keep Torrie as eye candy and a valet and out of the ring. Move Victoria over to Raw since you know..she can actually wrestle. Michelle McCool isn't too bad either.

Personally I don't care about Ashley all that much. She's fine as a manager/valet which it looks like is what she'll be doing so that's fine I guess.

Well, I wish Ashley would stay on SD, but now that she's on Raw, I guess that's OK. I don't know about putting her in matches. I say do so,me dark matches for about a month, to get off her ring rust, then put her in some matches.AndYOU
