CROWN HEIGHTS (WABC) -- A young boy plunged to his death from the top a 13-story apartment building in Brooklyn Tuesday night.

A clearer picture is starting to form of what exactly happened to Domori Miles.

Police now say the 9-year-old may have been imitating wrestling moves he saw on his favorite game, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw.

Ten-year-old friend Shakar Murrel says Domori was a fan of the wrestling game and loved wrestler Jeff Hardy's swan dives.

Stamford, Conn.-based World Wrestling Entertainment expresses sympathy but calls for "a full investigation ... before conclusions are made." It says no "SmackDown vs. Raw" characters jump off buildings or use parachutes.

Domori left his 10th floor apartment and made his way to the roof around 7:00 Tuesday night.

Then, using this plastic bag and some rope, it appears the boy made a parachute and believing it would support his weight, jumped, plunging 13 stories to his death.

Ray Jay's own 9-year-old son hung out with Domori.

"My wife said that's why I told Jasiah don't be playing around the hallways with him and don't go to his house," he said.

Officials from the medical examiners office returned to the scene on Wednesday, as did police who took photos of surveillance cameras that did catch a glimpse of Domori heading to the roof.

Police wouldn't let anyone near the roof today.

The door leading to the stairway and the one leading to the roof remained unlocked, as per fire code, but neighbors say the alarm wasn't working.

"Somebody could hide there and hurt you. Someone could be hiding there as you go down the stairs," Edwina Sanchez said.

It's clear Domori is on everyone's mind.

"He was a nice friendly little boy, outgoing. My daughter taught him at day care. A little outgoing boy. Really sweet," Celeste Cunningham said.

Honestly, I don't think wrestling or Jeff Hardy is the ones to blame. The parents are.

I think that this is the boy's fault only. I know he's only 10, but by that age, ya gotta know that a plastic bag won't support your weight.

They're trying to connect it to the WWE to get a pay check.

That's sad.

What did he do to imitate Hardy?

And, if WWE gets sued for this, they had better not lose IMO, it is not their fault as they cannot stress this fact enough. Don't try this at home, they're trained.

I think that this is a poor event but they do not need to blame the WWE or the video game.

Poor kid...

One thing though, where on earth were the parents. You don't ever let your child go up onto a roof of a building without parental supervision or another adult present.

Now because of this, parents will assume the wrestling is the cause of this and shut down their child's love for wrestling, that's why the media is lame. This really shouldn't even be in consideration for a case in court as of course, the WWE will win...IMO. It's not like SVR told him to, plus, this child should have used common sense.

I hate to be hard on the kid in this type of situation but you can't help and wonder, what's the real story behind this.

Wow, that is a very sad story, but WWE has nothing to do about the child's death at all. Too much blame on what the parents could have stopped.

That's exactly what my mom said, where were they? Let a child go and play on the roof? Sounds odd.

thats really sad, but the parents are in shock and probably have to blame someone to make themselves feel better they have no case they are just wasting money and time instead of thinking about what they did wrong

Childhood stupidity and professional wrestling have no connection with each other in this story... They're just trying to find something to blame, which is quite pathetic.

WWE runs PSAs every single show, if people don't adhere to them or ignore them, that's their problem not WWE's
